Secret Marriage, High-Profile Pampering!
Chapter 1414: You Really Have No Ambition
Chapter 1414 -1514: You Really Have No Ambition
Entering the shop and sharing her idea with the clerk, Summer Sutton measured each part of the snowman, and under the staff’s explanation, began to mold.
She spent quite some time inside, while Watt Bennet refrained from participating, instead quietly watching her from the side.
Summer spent roughly the entire morning, and when she emerged, she held two small white porcelain figures in her hands, identical in appearance, form, and height to the snowman Watt Bennet had just built.
“Here, how is it? Pretty, right?” She raised the item in her hand, feeling rather proud.
Watt Bennet quietly looked at it, evidently surprised by her revelation.
Summer Sutton was already heading out of the shop, playing with the small figures in her hands as she walked.
She decided to place this pair of figures in her bedroom so she’d see them every morning and night — one representing her, the other representing Adrian Walyon.
This was molded by Watt Bennet for her. Once turned into porcelain, she could see them any time, and their intertwined hands would never separate again.
Summer and Watt Bennet’s wedding took place over a month ago, yet neither had given each other a meaningful wedding gift.
Summer felt that this pair of figures was the perfect gift for the occasion.
Her mind also lingered on Summer Amusement Park, despite the cold today, so after lunch, she headed to the park.
This was the gift Adrian Walyon gave to their child, but since the child was gone, she treated it as a gift to herself.
Upon arriving at the amusement park, Summer Sutton felt like she was back to her childhood, playing wildly, joyfully running, causing a scene, laughing, visiting every facility once.
In the amusement park, laughter echoed throughout the entire afternoon.
Compared to her, Watt Bennet was much quieter.
From start to finish, he merely kept a slight smile at the corner of his lips, quietly watching her — watching her laugh, her antics, her carefree antics.
When they left the amusement park, it was already five o’clock.
The snowy weather made the sky somewhat dark.
As they exited, the streetlights were already lit.
“What do you want to eat tonight?” Watt Bennet asked while adjusting Summer Sutton’s coat as they walked.
Summer thought for a moment, and her response caught Watt Bennet by surprise, “Wontons.”
“Is that the extent of your ambition?” His lips curled slightly in disdain, “With someone treating you, wouldn’t you want to enjoy something more exquisite?”
“I think wontons are pretty good.” Summer straightened up and got into the car before Watt did.
“You’re hopeless.” Watt Bennet was speechless, circled around the front of the car, and got in as well.
Their car slowly started, Watt driving while searching for a wonton shop.
As the car made its way out of the amusement park’s plaza, another vehicle passed by slowly.
The two cars faced each other, and with the sky dark at this hour, Summer couldn’t see the person ahead clearly.
Her attention wasn’t focused ahead, as she glanced casually and then lowered her gaze, playing with the figures in her hands.
The car in front continued to approach. As they brushed past each other, the person inside glanced toward Watt Bennet’s vehicle.
Gazing steadily at Watt Bennet’s profile as he drove, the person in the other car remained motionless.
Watt Bennet didn’t pay attention to the car in this direction, his focus solely on finding a wonton shop.
The car sped past, a gust of wind, turning into a nearby food street after leaving Summer Park.
Meanwhile, the car that had just brushed past came to a halt.
The person inside fixed their gaze on the direction Watt Bennet’s car had departed, as if glued to it, for quite some time without looking away.
