Thinking for a moment, she casually named a Western restaurant.

Watt Bennet turned the car around, taking her to the restaurant.

Summer Sutton drank her soup quietly, her mind not on the meal.

Summer Sutton wasn’t initially interested in Lorraine Hughes and wasn’t planning to listen.

However, what the news revealed next caused her to suddenly look up.

The entertainment announcer’s voice continued in a live broadcast.

The scene was outside a villa, and the large screen displayed the headline of this news, stating that Lorraine Hughes’ birth mother was found dead by suicide inside the villa around 6 PM.

The motive for the suicide was still unclear.

Summer Sutton was stunned as she stared at the words on the screen, unable to recover from the news report for a long time.

She had met Lorraine Hughes’ mother before, who had some connections with Diana Wood. Even earlier, Diana Wood had tried to pair Lorraine Hughes with Adrian Walyon; both families, along with their children, had once dined at a restaurant near a filming location of Summer Sutton.
