Chapter 268: NEW Chapter

EVER SINCE Seong Hyesu came home with Gong Hanseo and Seong Kyungmin, they never had a proper sleep.

But neither of them had any complaints.

Gong Hanseo was used to not sleeping anyway, especially back when he was active as an idol. So, losing sleep now as a first-time parent was nothing. Plus, every time he saw Seong Hyesu’s angelic face, all his tiredness automatically melted away.

My precious angel...

"Honey, go back to sleep," Seong Kyungmin said, getting up as soon as Seong Hyesu cried— going straight to the table to make Seong Hyesu’s formula milk. "She’s probably hungry— I’ll feed her and put her to sleep after."

"Don’t be ridiculous, Hyung," Gong Hanseo said, getting up and immediately checking on Seong Hyesu. The bedside bassinet was on his side of the bed, after all. "You have work tomorrow. You should sleep."

He then gently and carefully carried the crying Seong Hyesu in his arms while watching Seong Kyungmin make powdered baby formula like an expert. Of course, he didn’t forget to gently rub his baby’s back to calm her down.

Thankfully, it worked.

During the first month since Seong Hyesu was born, they fed her donated breast milk.

The breast milk was donated by a mother, who was overproducing breast milk. This person was introduced by the hospital, so they trusted her.

Anyways, after that, they decided to switch to powder milk for Seong Hyesu.

Hyung assured me that formula milk is good for babies, too.

"Is our Hyena hungry?" Seong Kyungmin asked softly after they put Seong Hyesu back on her bassinet. Then the Alpha gently put the feeding bottle in their daughter’s mouth. Their baby immediately sucked on it. "Ah, she is."

Gong Hanseo smiled while watching Seong Kyungmin face soften while staring at their daughter lovingly.

Plus, the Alpha always used a gentle tone when talking to Seong Hyesu.

He really loves her.

Gong Hanseo knew that, but his heart still broke for Seong Kyungmin seeing how he couldn’t get a decent sleep again.

To think that he has to go to work in...

He glanced at the digital clock on the bedside table, and then sighed.

In two hours.

"Why, what’s wrong, honey?" Seong Kyungmin asked worriedly, immediately checking on Gong Hanseo just because he sighed once. "Are you sleepy? You can go back to sleep— I’ll stay with our daughter until she falls asleep. I’ll also make sure to burp her after she’s done with her milk."

"Hyung, it’s not that," Gong Hanseo said, holding Seong Kyungmin’s hands. "Should Hyena and I move to a different room?"

"What are you talking about, honey?"

"It breaks my heart every time you wake up whenever Hyesu cries. You barely get enough sleep, and you go to work very early," Gong Hanseo explained. "So, I thought that if Hyesu and I move to a different room, then you’ll be able to sleep peacefully."

"No, that can’t be true, honey. I won’t be able to sleep without you and Hyesu."

"But Hyung..."

"You’re also busy with the wedding preparations, so you’re just as tired and sleep-deprived as me."

"I handed the remaining preparations to the wedding organizers, so I’m not as busy now."

"Even so, I have no intention of letting you and our daughter sleep in a different room if you’re only going to do that for my sake," Seong Kyungmin said, gently gathering Gong Hanseo in his arms. "We’re a team, honey."

Aww.

Gong Hanseo hugged Seong Kyungmin back. "You’re right, Hyung— we’re a team."

TWO MONTHS later, Gong Hanseo and Seong Kyungmin finally tied the knot.

He didn’t invite his mother-in-law, but he extended one to his father-in-law.

And Seong Kyungmin looked really okay with his decision.

Hence, he didn’t feel bad about his mother-in-law’s absence in their special day.

And he didn’t have time to worry about it either.

He was happy that his family and close friends made it to his special day.

Of course, the existence that made that occasion extra beautiful would be...

"Your daughter is so lovely!"

Gong Hanseo smiled proudly while his dongsaengs— his former group members— gushed over Seong Hyesu.

It couldn’t be helped.

After all, Seong Hyesu looked like an angel in her white dress.

My baby is only three-month-old, but she’s bigger than her peers. She’s actually mistaken for a six-month-old baby.

Gong Hanseo and Seong Kyungmin were happy that their baby was growing well.

Anyways...

After the beautiful wedding ceremony, Gong Hanseo and Seong Kyungmin both took a break to change their clothes for the reception.

But his baby Seong Hyesu cried, so he volunteered to look after her in the meantime.

While he was resting in the parlor room, his dongsaengs visited him.

"Hyung, I’m really, really happy for you," Lim Garam said, teary-eyed. "You have a wonderful husband and a beautiful daughter. You deserve all of this."

Lee Eunsang nodded in agreement. "True. I’m happy for you, Hyung."

"Me, too," Kwon Jigu said between sobs. "Congratulations again, Hyung."

"Hyung, I can’t believe you’re a dad now," Finn complained playfully. "Don’t forget that we were your first babies." 𝚏𝗋ℯⅇ

Gong Hanseo laughed and nodded. "You brats will always be my firstborn sons!"

"YOU FINALLY got married."

Seong Kyungmin smirked at Song Sihyuk’s greeting.

Of course, he was proud.

"Hyung, I’m really happy for you," Kim Heedo said. "You and Hanseo Hyung really suit each other."

"And congratulations on having a baby," Yun Dujun added. "She’s lovely."

Aww.

Seong Kyungmin was currently in the parlor room, the one next to the parlor room where Gong Hanseo was.

He went there to change his clothes.

His friends— Song Sihyuk, Kim Heedo, and Yun Dujun— took that opportunity to greet him personally.

I think their respective partners visited my husband.

Anyway...

"I’m glad all my VIP clients are here," Seong Kyungmin said, looking at the strong Alphas in front of him. "Everyone, I recommend looking for a temporary doctor in the meantime— I’m going to spend some quality time with my husband and daughter."
