Seducing Aliens For SSS-Rank Skills

Chapter 244: Kalon VS Oliver

  • Next Chapter

Kalon looked at Oliver, and the dragon looked back at him with that smirk on his face.

Oliver was taller, more muscular, closer to his prime, and much, much more experienced.

He has over 100 professional fights under his belt, and was ranked top 100 in the European continent.

Although he was the eight dragon, that was only because he was the newest member. In terms of strength, some said he even rivalled lower numbered dragons.

None of that mattered to Kalon.

He knew he was the underdog. He knew that people were thinking he had now bitten off more than he could chew.

But only Kalon new the true lengths of his powers. Only Kalon, and the aliens who had been on the other side of his absolute powers.

"Begin!"

Second one.

Oliver moved first, exactly as expected. Fire erupted around both arms in a wide surge meant to own the opening and force Kalon back for the cameras.

The Dragon sections were already rising with the heat. Oliver’s smirk stayed in place as he stepped in behind the blaze, tall frame loading for a full front-foot exchange.

Kalon did not step back.

He raised one hand and called Ninefold Sunbreaker.

Nine golden-red suns formed around him in a hard ring, bright enough that the nearest cage lights washed out. The crowd noise changed volumes at once. Oliver’s eyes narrowed through the fire, still advancing, still certain the first exchange would go his way.

Second two.

Kalon pulled all nine suns inward.

They did not stay separate. The ring collapsed into a single mass of white-gold fire over his palm, denser than any single sphere he had thrown in public before. Heat punched outward across the cage floor. Oliver’s own flames bent away from it on pure contact pressure.

Oliver finally stopped smiling. He realised the gravity of the situation.

Second three.

Oliver poured everything into a answering column of fire and drove it straight down the centre of the cage, a professional finishing arc meant to overwhelm and end fighters who came in overconfident. The Dragon half of Wembley Arena roared for it.

Kalon threw the merged sun.

Second four.

The two forces met in the middle of the cage.

It was not a contest. In fact, it was not even close.

Kalon’s red-gold mass ate through Oliver’s column on contact, without facing any resistance at all. The Dragon’s fire sheared apart around the core of the merged suns and vanished backward in broken sheets. Oliver had time to plant his feet and lift both arms in a hard guard.

Second five.

The merged sun hit him.

The impact erased the guard, the forward stance, and the space behind Oliver in one continuous blast. Fire and radiant force detonated across the far half of the cage in a violent white flash that blanked the nearest cameras.

The reinforced floor took the shock in a deep rolling boom.

Oliver’s body was thrown clean off its line and smashed into the cage wall hard enough to bow the mesh outward.

Second six.

He did not bounce back into a stance. This was because his body was no longer as it was.

His entire body was charred black, leaving only what looked like a corpse behind.

Luckily, the death prevention acknowledged that his health had dropped significantly, and automatically activated. It preserved his body and sealed off the attack before his health could drop below 1.

Oliver dropped in a broken heap against the base of the wall, fire extinguished, arms slack, blonde hair completely removed from his head. Even if his own wife had seen him at that point, she would not be able to tell that he was the eight dragon.

His body was so wrecked that he could have been any other adult male. All distinguishable features on his body were no more.

Second seven.

Silence hit the arena in a delayed wave. Many people’s jaws dropped as the fight ended in a manner than absolutely no one had been expecting.

Hadn’t they seen this attack before? Not even one had it ever been used in such a powerful way.

Was it because they had only ever seen Kalon merge three suns in public? They underestimated the potential of merging all nine together?

Second eight.

Then the noise came back all at once, confused and too loud, Atlas sections exploding while the Dragon seats sat half-standing in pure shock. The screens above the cage replayed the merge and the clash in stuttering slow angles that still could not make the exchange look competitive.

Second nine.

Officials were already moving. Medics crossed toward Oliver’s side under the hard white lights, trying to dodge ant remnants flames from Kalon’s devastating attack.

The referee looked between the crumpled Eighth Dragon and Kalon, who still stood in the centre of the cage with residual heat lifting off his shoulders and empty air where the nine suns had been.

Second ten.

"W-winner!"

The call that announced the winer finally arrived.

Kalon had not moved from the spot where he threw the attack.

The whole fight, from the first step of Oliver’s fire to the Eighth Dragon broken against the cage wall, had taken under ten seconds.

Atlas Entertainment’s prospect had ended it in a single strike.

...

The dragons that were watching in the crowd stared at their burnt ally in absolute disbelief.

This was beyond any of their expectations and comprehensions.

The dragons were meant to be the rulers of flames. At least in England, there should have been no fire users greater than them.

And yet, Oliver Moniqart, one of their strongest dragons when it came to raw power, was absolutely destroyed in a head to head clash against a student who was not even old enough to graduate from the academy yet.

Each of the members hung their heads low and rubbed their temples, trying to ease their headaches.

They knew that this was the beginning of the end for their organisation.
