Chapter 768: Chapter 385: Reincarnation, Dream Realm_2

During that time... Hell hadn’t even taken form yet...

He felt as though he had forgotten something, but kept searching for that feeling. A voice echoed in his heart: find that feeling again, and all crises will be solved...

-----------------

Boom!

Flames, endless flames roared, the apocalypse of the undead descended once more, countless undead creatures seemed summoned, continuously appearing on the battlefield, charging forward relentlessly.

A massive entity was fiercely clashing with a flame giant.

That was the power of a Forbidden Curse, Guan Xin was recklessly pushing himself.

What of the Gods, what of Baiyi?

Now, it was Guan Xin who was standing at the front. He was not inferior to anyone!

The determination in his eyes grew more pronounced.

The power within him continued to explode surpassing its limits.

Every time a crisis was about to strike, a force would always prevent the Divine Abomination’s attack.

That was the power from another God, even though it was from across the world, it kept him from appearing too haggard during the duration of the Forbidden Curse.

"Undead..."

In the distance, the God’s murmurs were not distinct, as they felt the approaching Celestial City, its vast shadow already appearing at the horizon’s edge.

Under the oppressive sky, it carried a terrifying sense of crisis, flying towards the heart of the Federation.

This was why even the Gods hesitated to act.

But it didn’t matter.

The second wave of the Ancient Gods’ terrifying aura surged skyward, making the crimson of the firmament even more oppressive.

The clouds pressed down heavily.

It seemed it was always like this when the Ancient Gods fought the New Gods, as each world gave rise to immensely powerful Divine Abominations.

Many of these ancient and evil beings were destroyed, but a larger portion remained sealed in some lands.

These beings were true divine-level Abominations; even when the New Gods appeared, they endeavored to eliminate them.

But for these irrational Abominations, the best place to seal them was the Dimensional Turbulence, they couldn’t leave such a place by their own power.

And the Dimensional Turbulence was the bizarre’s domain, difficult even for the New Gods to invade.

Thus, those trapped in some dream realms or bizarre circumstances could be awakened in this era.

However, such Abominations weren’t many; the summoning power of the Ancient Gods had only awakened two dormant consciousnesses, and now, only seven Abominations exiled from Xia remained.

Diane’s eyes showed a hint of solemnity; these Abominations were divine-level, lacking specialties but still imposing a formidable challenge.

She gazed worriedly towards the direction of the Ancient Gods.

"Go, I can hold it."

Guan Xin’s voice suddenly echoed, and the aura around him abruptly heightened, the flames began to melt everything around.

Even the Gods were retreating under this power.

Diane paused in silence, her magic staff gently tapping in the void, her figure gradually fading; she needed to stop the arrival of these two Abominations, or it would be a huge trouble.

"Hoo~"

And on the city walls, Luo Men sighed in relief, the city was now void of people inside and out.

Under Yuan Tang’s command, the city’s legions began teleporting to the Border City. The current capital city was held by High-Tier Legendary beings, army presence wasn’t necessary.

They, like Diane’s undead legion, served no purpose other than being meat shields or obstructing the steps of Gods.

Yuan Tang glanced at Luo Men who was gradually losing cognitive activity, then returned his gaze onto the device that could view the Federation’s full panorama.

On the device, the scenes of war were prevalent, and in them, the woman attacking the Gods made him furrow his brows.

He looked towards the enormous mechanical disc at the horizon’s edge and murmured lowly.

"What’s happened to you..."

"Why did you come?"

In a peace-filled forest, an old man sat on a rocking chair, holding a fishing rod.

Eyes closed in relaxation.

He was surrounded by a pleasant aura, not far from a lake, by a city without walls.

Skyscrapers, smooth and broad roads, smiles and leisure on everyone’s face.

Food vendors filled the streets, some women haggled with old men and ladies over the price of vegetables and meat.

They engaged in heated debates over a Copper Coin, but in the end, relented over a phrase, "not selling is fine," and the vendor compromised.

Such an ordinary scene, yet it left Luo Men in silence.

It reminded him of a long, long time ago, when this frail elder called him to his side during one of his returns.

The elder granted Luo Men access to his spiritual realm.

He seemed to have foreseen this scene.

But...

He looked towards the distant city; it was a scene he hadn’t witnessed but heard in a grandmother’s description during his childhood.

Alas...

"Old Li, have you caught any fish?"

An aged voice asked.

Luo Men looked up, stunned.

A granny with a face full of lines approached, holding a basket.

Gradually, more scenes appeared around — a wooden house, not large, with just a living room and a bedroom, but it exuded warmth.

With a voice falling, fish bit the hook.

Old Li’s face lit with interest, suddenly sitting up and yanking the rod vigorously: "Ha-ha, what a stroke of luck, Shi Yun, every time you come, I always have such good luck."

With those words, a plump crucian carp emerged from the water, its continuous flailing added a hint of fishy scent to the air.

"Wow, such good luck! How did you know I bought tofu? I’ll stew some fish soup for you later," the old woman chuckled, approaching and taking the fish from Old Li’s hand, placing it into her basket.
