Chapter 2023: Tang Yichen’s Handwriting

Gu Zhiqi was silent for two seconds and then said, "As expected, it should be me."

"Turning and turning, in the end, it really is you..." Yun Tung said incredulously.

No matter what, she never thought Gu Zhiqi would be the person her father mentioned.

Then, she opened her palm, and soon, a blue Fragmented Jade floated above her palm.

However, the Fragmented Jade only lingered in Yun Tung’s hand for a few seconds before it seemed to feel a summons and flew straight toward Gu Zhiqi.

Once the pieces were fully joined, with a flash of brilliant light, they became one single piece, without even a trace of a crack.

Tang Yichen stared intently at the Jade Pendant, and once it merged into one piece, he immediately leaned in for a closer look, "It’s so amazing, there’s not even a crack, how is this possible?"

No one answered Tang Yichen’s question.

Gu Zhiqi put away the jade pendant.

The two pieces formed one, but it seemed there was still a missing part, possibly a third Fragmented Scroll.

Looks like they need to search elsewhere for the third Fragmented Scroll.

"Aunt Tung, the map?"

Yun Tung was still marveling at the jade merging into one, and hearing Gu Zhiqi’s words, she snapped back to reality, "Just a moment, I’ll fetch it now."

Less than ten minutes later, Yun Tung brought the map.

Once she got the map, Gu Zhiqi immediately unfolded it for a closer look, and others, driven by curiosity, gathered around as well.

"What is this? I can’t understand it." Tang Yichen looked again and again, but couldn’t comprehend it.

Gu Zhiqi glanced at the map and finally focused on the characters in the lower right corner of the fragmented scroll. After seeing the handwriting clearly, Gu Zhiqi paused, "Brother Chen, isn’t this your handwriting?"

Gu Zhiqi had seen Tang Yichen’s handwriting before but wasn’t quite sure.

Upon hearing this, Tang Yichen immediately directed his gaze to the spot Gu Zhiqi pointed at, and upon recognizing the characters, he was shocked.

"It really is." Tang Yichen said, leaning closer, almost sticking to the map, "But how could this be?"

"I’ve never written such a thing."

First, it was Su Yunling’s handwriting, then Tang Yichen’s handwriting, but neither Su Yunling nor Tang Yichen had any memory of it.

Gu Zhiqi couldn’t understand either, turned to Yun Tung, and asked, "Earlier, you said this map was passed down by your ancestors, do you know when it was passed down?"

Yun Tung: "Father said it was probably passed down five hundred years ago, but I’m not sure about the specific timing."

Tang Yichen quickly interjected, "Could it be, five hundred years ago, someone had handwriting identical to mine?"

No one could answer Tang Yichen’s question.

After leaving the Yun Family, the group went to the Su Family.

Tang Yichen went to the Su Family solely to grab a meal, and after finishing, he left.

Finally, only Gu Zhiqi and Su Yunling remained in Su Yunling’s courtyard.

Gu Zhiqi propped her chin up, lazily watching Su Yunling sitting opposite her. A few seconds later, she looked at Su Yunling and softly called out, "Brother."

Su Yunling’s body stiffened slightly. He raised his eyes to look at Gu Zhiqi, his eyes tinged with some darkness, he lifted his brows and looked back at Gu Zhiqi, "What is it?"

Gu Zhiqi stood up, then looked at Su Yunling and said, "Get up."

Su Yunling was confused but stood up obediently.
