"What’s the matter, sweetheart?" Alex murmured, his deep baritone rumbling with velvet amusement. "Didn’t I tell you? It’s entirely out of your league."

Naomi was in no condition to reply. The sharp, venomous retort she had planned died in the back of her throat before it could form.

Her lips stayed parted in a stunned, breathless O. She could not pull enough air in to make a syllable, let alone a defense. In the dim amber light her eyes were wide, dilated, pinned to the thing between them and unable to leave it.

It did not look possible.

Under the warm glow of the recessed sconce, the heavy width and brutal length seemed less like flesh than an instrument meant to split whatever was foolish enough to take it.

’How?’

The word ran in frantic loops through her head.

She had talked big on the floor. She had purred about tasting him, promised to put him in his place, and walked into this stall certain she could take the night back with her mouth and her pride. Staring at what she had just unleashed, the truth landed hard and simple: even half of that would choke her.

Her throat bobbed on a dry swallow. A cold bead of sweat slid down the nape of her neck, sharp against the scalding flush on her chest.

And still her body answered.

Heat gathered low and helpless between her thighs, a needy clench she could not command away. The fear and the want arrived together, tangled so tightly she could not tell which one made her hands hover useless in the air.

She forced her eyes up the line of his chest.

Alex was watching her with that same unhurried smirk, as if he had expected this exact collapse and was in no rush to end it.

"Afraid already, darling?" he murmured, leaning back against the door. "We can stop right here if you want. No shame in admitting it’s more than you can handle."

"Who says I’m afraid?"

The offer stung worse than the insult. Naomi forced her chest to steady and swallowed the dry knot in her throat. The shock did not leave. She just refused to let him watch her drown in it.

She took a half-step forward. The heat of him washed over her skin.

"I’ll admit... you’re unusual," she said, her eyes dropping to the thick, heavy length before rising to lock on his. "Most women would take one look at that and walk out."

A faint, defiant curve returned to her bruised lips.

"I’m not most women."

Gathering the hem of her crimson dress with one hand, she smoothed the damp silk out of her way before sinking down onto the cold, polished marble. Her knees settled against the stone with fluid, deliberate grace.

Reaching up with both hands, Naomi gathered her dark hair and tucked the loose strands behind her ears, exposing the sharp, flushed line of her throat. Even looking up from the floor, she kept her chin tilted high, refusing to yield an inch of ground.

"I’m going to teach you what happens when an arrogant man actually gets what he asked for," she said, her voice dropping into a low, smoky purr that resonated against the tiles. "By the time I’m finished, darling, I won’t just wipe that smug look off your face. I’ll have you gripping my hair and begging me not to stop."

Alex didn’t say a word. He merely leaned his shoulders back against the dark timber of the cubicle door, arms relaxed at his sides, his lips curving into an unbothered, lethal smirk that dared her to make good on the threat.

Naomi turned her gaze forward.

At eye level, the perspective shifted into something terrifyingly real. The heat rolling off him washed over her cheeks like an open flame, instantly stripping away the cool air of the stall.

The shaft was thick, dark, and mapped in heavy veins that throbbed with a slow, relentless pulse barely inches from her face. Up close, the sheer density was staggering... an uncompromising, heavy weight that made her jaw ache in anticipation before she had even parted her lips.

It was too late to back out now. Her mercenary pride wouldn’t permit retreat, and the scalding ache pooling between her thighs wouldn’t allow it either.

Her fingers trembled with the faintest shiver of hesitation, but she forced her hand upward anyway. When her manicured fingertips first grazed the hot, velvet skin along the ridge, an electric shock shot straight up her arm and rippled through her spine.

The contact stole a breath from her.

She covered it with a lower voice, letting her palm flatten against the burning underside before curling her fingers firmly around the shaft. Even with her hand stretched wide, her thumb and forefinger couldn’t completely close around the brutal width. The scalding heat seared straight into her skin, every heavy throb of his pulse pressing into her grip with raw, undeniable power.

Naomi gave a slow, firm squeeze, feeling the rigid steel beneath the surface, and forced her eyes back up to his.

"You think this makes me fold?" she whispered, her chest rising and falling in shallow, uneven hitches. "It doesn’t. It just makes me want to find out if you actually know how to use it."

Her dark eyes never wavered.

Even tilted upward from the cold marble, Naomi kept her gaze locked dead onto his, refusing to give him the satisfaction of seeing her flinch. She leaned in, closing the final inch of space until the scalding heat radiating from the crown warmed her parted lips. She let her breath wash over the sensitive skin... slow, steady, and deliberately warm.

Then, with calculated, feline grace, the pink tip of her tongue flicked out.

She traced a slow, wet line right across the slit at the crown. The taste of him, hot, faintly salty, and intensely intoxicating, settled immediately on her tongue, sending a fresh ripple of heat straight between her thighs.

Naomi didn’t rush. An amateur would have panicked and tried to swallow him whole just to prove a point; a seasoned operative knew how to dismantle a man piece by piece.

Her lips closed softly around the rounded head, pressing a lingering, tender kiss against the velvet ridge. She hummed low in her throat, letting the deep vibration reverberate straight through the nerve endings of the swollen crown.

Looking up at him through heavy, shadowed lashes, she parted her lips wider, letting her tongue swirl languidly around the rim, painting the dark flesh in a glistening sheen of saliva. She drew the broad head into the scalding wet heat of her mouth, hollowed her cheeks, and applied a tight, rhythmic suction that dragged a low, involuntary hiss through Alex’s teeth.

She worked him with effortless, deliberate mastery. Her tongue rolled under the sensitive frenulum, teasing and stroking with flickers of pressure designed to drive a man insane.

At the same time, the hand wrapped around the shaft didn’t stay idle. Her fingers tightened, twisting in a slow, firm glide up from the base to meet her mouth, matching the tempo with practiced precision. Hand and mouth moved in perfect synchrony, squeezing, swirling, and coating his length until the cubicle was filled with the quiet, obscene sound of wet friction.

She slid her mouth off the head with a soft, wet pop, a thin strand of saliva trailing from her lower lip to the glistening crown.

Her bruised lips curved into a wicked, breathless smile, her eyes practically daring him to look away.

"You’re not the only one who knows how to handle a weapon, darling," she breathed, her voice dripping with smoky, unhurried confidence. "Now let’s see just how long you can hold onto that cold temper of yours."

Naomi refused to let the moment cool.

Drawing a sharp, ragged breath through her nose, she parted her lips wider, determined to prove that her words on the floor hadn’t been an empty bluff. Her manicured fingers remained locked around the base of the shaft, guiding the burning crown back toward her mouth.

She leaned forward and took him in.

The immediate sensation was an overwhelming, suffocating fullness. Her lips had to stretch taut to their absolute limit just to clear the rounded ridge, the sheer breadth straining the corners of her mouth before he had even breached her teeth.

Heat flared against the roof of her mouth, thick and unrelenting, leaving no room for breath or thought.

Naomi didn’t flinch. Swallowing down the reflex in her jaw, she coated him in hot, slick saliva, flattening her tongue against the underside to ease the friction.

Inch by heavy inch, she drew him deeper. The dark, rigid mass filled every available millimeter of her mouth, pushing against her cheeks and flattening her tongue until the blunt crown nudged against the sensitive, unyielding barrier at the back of her throat.

A muffled, shuddering hum vibrated in her chest.

Her throat locked instantly in a biological panic, an instinctive tremor that sent a sharp ripple straight down Alex’s length.

A fine prickle of tears gathered at the corners of Naomi’s dark eyes, her throat muscles convulsing around the intruder as her lungs starved for air. It was a physical reality her ego couldn’t outmaneuver: he was simply too thick, too long, to take with casual elegance.
