Chapter 1043: I’m Back

The cooling body of the woman who had openly declared his love for the Immortal Sun Emperor was now slowly closing her eyes within the embrace of the man she loves the most. The Immortal Sun Emperor instantly calmed down when he heard the words of the Heavenly Laws, but because he realized that something else was happening at this moment. It was another man in black ancient robes with golden dragon pattern, even though his face was obscured by a black flag, that crimson-gold eyes of his made Shen Jueyang recognize him as the man he had seen talking to the former Primordial Lightning Emperor before he disappeared.

The Immortal Sun Emperor said, "It’s you!!?"

Before he could react, Yao Xuewan with his arms was taken away by this man. The way he cradles her dead body and those cold eyes turning gently only in her presence says everything that he needs to know. This man knows Yao Xuewan, and she is definitely extremely important to him.

The man turned himself in, preparing to leave, "He passed for now. Throw him out."

The Immortal Sun Emperor said, "Wait! Give me answers!"

He looked around to see Shen Taiyang and her other subordinate surrounding him with their faces covered in smiles looking so delighted as if they had found their strongest hold in this world. However, the eyes of the Immortal Sun Emperor keeps wandering around as if looking for someone with the crowd, that he would never miss to not see at all even when surrounded by countless men under his command. He is looking for the woman he loves, the Moon Goddess, Yue Xuexia.

The Immortal Sun Emperor said, "Move. Where is Xue’er?"

Everyone had opened a path and let the Immortal Sun Emperor look for the Moon Goddess. Ever since Shen Jueyang had woken up from his meditative state and the announcement of the heavenly laws was heard by everyone, they were all waiting for him to open his eyes.
