Chapter 850 -380: Key Point_2

The six security personnel fixed their gazes on Gu Ji, with their right hands uniformly resting on their waists.

If he dared to make any suspicious move, he would undoubtedly be riddled with bullets in an instant.

Among these people was the triangular-faced person from the second week.

“I am Hasha, the head of security. Tell me, who are you really, and what is your purpose in seeking me out?”

“There is a criminal on the train carrying a bomb. If you don’t act to stop them, the train will soon explode!”

“What did you say?!”

Gu Ji’s words were like a bombshell, causing a huge commotion among the security personnel.

Among the six present, only Hasha remained the calmest.

After a moment of silence, he walked towards Gu Ji, saying:

“Amin Vahid, Iran, 28 years old, grew up on the streets of Tehran, skilled in fighting, sentenced to five years for alcohol smuggling, and after being released, has been working as a guide. Why should I trust a former prison smuggler like you?”

Well done, they sure investigated thoroughly!

Gu Ji realized it was the Persian strongman outside the door, using his identification information, who had uncovered the criminal records left by the original in the police station.

This “Amin” was indeed quite the scoundrel.

No wonder Claudie had made that remark in the second week.

“Who I am doesn’t affect the validity of my information…”

“Woo——!”

Gu Ji’s words were cut off by the screech of the train slowing down; he glanced at the platform outside the train window and continued: “This is your final chance. If you don’t act now, everyone on the train will perish in a sea of flames!”

His plan was quite similar to the cruise ship virus scenario.

It was about using intelligence to attract the security around the VIP to help investigate the explosion process and truth on the train.

Whether it was ultimately caused by humans or an accident,

as long as the crisis could be averted, it would be a guaranteed win for him.

But these security personnel weren’t fools either.

One tall person walked next to Hasha, whispering a few sentences, and from his wary gaze towards Gu Ji, it was evident that he was likely saying, “Don’t trust him lightly.”

But Gu Ji had little time left.

The train restarted.

He lifted his wrist for a glance, and the countdown displayed only 3 minutes and 11 seconds remaining.

Could it be that he had to reveal his identity from the 7472 unit this time?

“Crash!”

Just as Gu Ji hesitated repeatedly, the iron door behind him was suddenly opened, and the Persian strongman who was guarding the door ran in, flustered, holding a phone, “Captain, I got a call that there’s a suspicious man at the train’s end carrying a weapon!”

“Is it Claudie? Give me the phone, quick!”

Seeing his phone, Gu Ji immediately realized that Claudie must have discovered the criminal intending to act and was tipping him off.

Unexpectedly, Hasha seized the phone first, turned on the speakerphone, and asked, “What is happening at the train’s end?”

“Who are you, where’s Amin, where is he?”

“Claudie, I’m here, what did you find, speak up directly!”

Gu Ji immediately raised his voice, reminding her that he was present.

“I…I see a middle-aged man in a suit carrying a briefcase, pacing back and forth in the carriage aisle, and I accidentally noticed something like a knife in his sleeve, ah – Crash!”

“Help! Somebody help!”

“Run! Someone is trying to kill here!”

“Don’t move! Everyone sit down quietly, or I’ll kill her now!”

“Damn! Let go of the young lady this instant!”

…

In the middle of Claudie’s speech, she suddenly screamed, and the phone seemed to fall to the ground, followed by various panicked cries and chaotic footsteps in the carriage.

The security personnel all widened their eyes, full of shock.

They never expected

that what this smuggler said was true!

When Gu Ji heard Claudie’s description of the criminal’s appearance, his first thought was the emotionally agitated, suited uncle seated not far behind him.

Indeed.

From the content of his phone conversation, it seemed to involve money, which did give him a motive for crime.

“Assalan, you five stay here and protect the VIP. Mirza, you come with me to the train’s end to have a look!”

Hasha quickly assigned personnel, drawing a black P226, an Iranian replica, from his waist, leading the charge out of carriage no. 3.

Gu Ji followed closely behind Hasha and the Persian strongman.

Because they moved swiftly this time, they squeezed into the train’s end before full-on panic spread.

Shockingly, the red-nosed train attendant Kafu also tagged along.

The four arrived at the train’s end.

The entire carriage was now left with only four people: aside from the criminal and the hostage Claudie, there was a blond with a bleeding abdomen on the floor, soaked in blood, and lastly, a train attendant.

The scene before them was almost identical to what Gu Ji had heard over the walkie-talkie during the first week.

What he didn’t expect was that the brave individual who was knifed by the criminal happened to be that lecherous blond.

In such a critical moment, to be the first to stand up was commendable.

As for the criminal, he was exactly as Gu Ji had guessed.

It was the man in the suit who had been on the phone.

His oblong face, prominent brow bone, slightly mixed features, and hair damp with sweat, looking especially disheveled.

Claudie was held by the neck with his right arm, while his left hand wielded a tactical knife, poised in front of her.

“You guys! Don’t come over, or I’ll kill her!”

“Amin! Save me!”

Claudie was already petrified, her face pale as death, and upon seeing Gu Ji, she immediately started to struggle and cry for help.

“Shut up! Move again and I’ll kill you!”

The suit-clad criminal fiercely threatened, and indeed, Claudie was so scared she tensed up and quickly clamped her mouth shut.

Gu Ji lowered his gaze at the blond.

Among those present, apart from the hostage Claudie, only he was the closest to the criminal.

If he still had the strength to act and distract the criminal for just two seconds,

Hasha and the Persian strongman could draw their guns and take the target down immediately.

Just as Gu Ji attempted to signal to the blond, Hasha fired, hitting the criminal in the right arm with a “bang.”

“Ah! Damn it! I’ll kill you all!”

The suited criminal screamed in agony, and the blade in his left hand went for Claudie.

But before he could succeed, the Persian strongman from the other side shot it away.

Seizing the moment the hostage and criminal parted, Hasha fired three more shots, two to the chest and one to the head, killing the criminal on the spot.

“Ah! Ah…”

Claudie collapsed to the ground in fright, scrambling back until she hit a seat leg.

Whoa! Such a fierce style of action?

Gu Ji thought Iran’s security was professionally competent, taking decisive action, but didn’t expect Hasha and the other to ignore Claudie entirely and go straight for the body to inspect the briefcase, showing no regard for the hostage.

They weren’t saving people but ensuring the criminal wouldn’t detonate a bomb.

Although this behavior was somewhat cold-blooded,

from the perspective of these security guards, it indeed seemed the most efficient and cost-effective method.

Finally, it was the train conductor Kafu and Gu Ji who helped Claudie up from the floor.

“Captain, there’s only a laptop in the briefcase, no explosives found!”

“Nothing found on him either.”

Hasha squinted his eyes, locking his gaze back onto Gu Ji, as if to say: Where is this bomb you mentioned?

“That’s impossible!”

Gu Ji was completely taken aback.

He had clearly heard the criminal shouting over the walkie-talkie during the first week that he was strapped with bombs, yet how could there be none?

He hurried to the corpse, searching it up and down.

But indeed, there was nothing!

“That’s impossible, the bomb must be nearby, even if…”

“Boom!”

Just as Gu Ji lifted his head to speak, he suddenly heard a loud explosion, and a glaring white light flashed outside the window in an instant!

“Woo——! Kuz kuz!”
