"I do," Master Zhang said with a nod. "But the grandmaster doesn’t get involved in these affairs. He only provided some financial support for my master at the very beginning. Beyond that, there are some things the grandmaster finds inconvenient to handle himself, so my master has us do them."

Su Qing sneered. "What a sanctimonious Master Wen."

In Xiangcheng, Master Wen’s name was quite famous, earning him the reverence of all. Whenever he was mentioned, no one had anything but praise.

’But who would have ever guessed? This Feng Shui Master, revered and praised by all, was secretly the financier for these life-ruining businesses. Who knows how many other harmful things he’s done behind the scenes.’

Now that all the necessary questions had been answered, there was no reason to keep Master Zhang alive. With a mere thought from Su Qing, the eyes of Master Zhang—who was wrapped like a chrysalis in vines—bulged, and then all life left him.

Su Qing casually tossed Master Zhang’s corpse into her storage space, sending him to keep his three junior brothers—whose bodies she hadn’t dealt with yet—company.

Afterward, Su Qing searched the villa and found some evidence, as well as personnel lists and correspondence. She threw it all into her storage space, planning to hand it over to Li Fenghuo and Gu Xinsheng later.

Walking out of the villa, she looked toward the mountain behind it. She headed into the mountain, first finding a spot to bury Master Zhang and his three men deep underground, before heading toward the cave where Little Master Wen was located.

As for this Little Master Wen, Su Qing didn’t plan on asking any more questions. She had already gotten everything she wanted to know out of Master Zhang.

So, after finding Little Master Wen’s cave, Su Qing made a preemptive move. She controlled the surrounding vines, weeds, and branches to seal the cave’s perimeter, ensuring not even a mosquito could escape. Then, she walked inside. Following the information from Master Zhang, she activated the switch for the stone door at the entrance and quickly stepped through.

Vines shot out from Su Qing’s feet, slithering rapidly along the cave walls and deeper inside.

"Why are you here in the middle of the night?" Little Master Wen asked, assuming it was Master Zhang. "Did something happen?"

Su Qing said nothing. Several vines simply shot toward Little Master Wen’s back.

Little Master Wen felt a chill trace his spine. He instantly leaped into the air without a second thought, dodging to the side and evading the vines.

However, several more vines stabbed at him from the side.

Greatly alarmed, Little Master Wen immediately began to dodge and weave, evading the vines that continuously assaulted him.

While dodging the vines, Little Master Wen glared at Su Qing, his gaze cold and sharp. "Who are you?"

"The one who’s come to kill you," Su Qing replied coldly. With a wave of her hands, even more vines assaulted Little Master Wen.

Little Master Wen’s brow furrowed, and he sneered, "In your dreams!"

Then, several talismans flew from Little Master Wen’s hand toward the vines in front of him. When he saw his talismans get entangled and shredded, he flew into a rage. "I didn’t expect you to have some skill. Since you won’t show any mercy, then don’t blame me for being merciless!"

Although he was shocked by Su Qing’s ability to control plants, Little Master Wen considered himself highly skilled and didn’t take her seriously. He immediately pressed his palms together, muttered an incantation, and with a wave of his hand, the Three-faced Buddha on the stone pedestal suddenly began to rotate. A hole then opened at the very top of its head, and a wisp of light gray mist shot out.

As the wisp of mist shot out, a bell in Little Master Wen’s hand began to ring. Waves of sound echoed throughout the cave, one after another, like ocean waves, constantly crashing against the walls and the vines clinging to them.

Watching the light mist rush toward her, Su Qing gave a faint, cold smile. She raised a hand, and a stream of green mist flew from her palm to meet the light gray mist head-on.

The two mists collided violently in mid-air. The powerful life force within Su Qing’s green mist instantly devoured the light gray mist completely.

"AH!" Little Master Wen’s body swayed, and he staggered backward, losing his balance. Before he could react, the vines around him wrapped him up tightly.

Little Master Wen felt his chest churn violently as he spat out a mouthful of blood. He glared at Su Qing with bloodshot eyes. "Who the hell are you?!"

’Who is this woman? She so easily devoured the Soul-devouring Fog I refined and even damaged my foundation.’

This Soul-devouring Fog was what Little Master Wen had refined over the years using the fortune stolen by those peace charms. The vast majority of the stolen fortune was used for his own cultivation, while a small portion was refined into this Soul-devouring Fog. Because the fortune was stolen, it naturally contained resentment. After Little Master Wen refined it, he would use it in concert with the sound of his bell. Anyone who encountered the Soul-devouring Fog would quickly fall into a trance, and then, they would see countless demons and skeletons in the mist.

And if Little Master Wen didn’t help those who fell into this trance to break free, they would remain trapped until they were frightened to insanity or death, or until he took the opportunity to land a killing blow.

It could be said that this was Little Master Wen’s greatest trump card, his ultimate weapon against his enemies.

But this ultimate weapon was completely useless against the girl before him. Not only did she not fall into a trance, but she had even used a green mist to destroy the Soul-devouring Fog he had refined, injuring him in the process!

’So, just who is this girl who barged in here?’

Su Qing smiled faintly. "I already told you. I’m the one who’s here to kill you."

"Do you have any idea who I am?" Little Master Wen glared at Su Qing. "You’ll regret it if you dare to harm me."

"I don’t care if you’re the Jade Emperor himself," Su Qing said coldly. "How many lives have you ruined over the years? I bet you’ve never even counted. Those plantations, those peace charms you distributed... have you ever tallied up how many people you’ve harmed? For someone like you, ten thousand deaths wouldn’t be enough to atone for your crimes. And you still want to use your identity to threaten people? PAH! Have you no shame?"

Little Master Wen’s expression changed at her words. He struggled secretly, but it was no use; he couldn’t break free from the vines. After a moment of thought, Little Master Wen softened his tone. "Fellow practitioner, we are people of the same path. This is just a misunderstanding that has brought us together. I am exceptionally impressed with your skills. How about this? You let me go, and we can drink and laugh about this. My master is Master Wen of Xiangcheng, a man of great prestige and skill. In the future, if you need anything at all, my master and I will not refuse. How about it?"
