The teleportation ended quickly.

A new Star System appeared before Chen Ming’s eyes.

Throughout this Star System there were Mechanical Race space structures scattered everywhere, and every Planet within it bore signs of Mechanical Race development; in many places there were Mechanical Race colonies.

But this Star System was now in ruin.

Everything in the Star System, whether in space or on the Planets, everything related to the Mechanical Race had already become wreckage.

And with just a cursory look one could see that these buildings hadn’t been in ruins for long—at most, no more than half a year.

The Mechanical Race seemed to have completely abandoned this place; not only had no Mechanical Race units come to clear away the debris, even the monitoring facilities that by all logic should have been watching the Star System were gone.

It was hard to imagine such a place existing in the core region of the Mechanical Race Star Realm.

Chen Ming recorded the coordinates of this Star System, and immediately began searching for traces of the Phase Giant Beast that had just teleported here.

By tracing the teleportation trail, Chen Ming again confirmed that the Phase Giant Beast’s teleportation destination was still within the Mechanical Race Star Realm.

He likewise activated the Teleportation Engine and went after it.

But this time, something went wrong as his ship executed the teleportation.

Before the ship had even touched down, a surge of Phase Power was already violently repelling him at the teleportation endpoint.

A surging repulsive force was flooding out, trying to squeeze Chen Ming’s ship away, denying the vessel any chance to arrive at its destination.

And this repulsive force was not only acting on the ship; it was simultaneously acting on Chen Ming’s consciousness.

Just like the previous clash between Phase Space and the Crimson Dimension within his Consciousness Space, it was once again inflicting damage on Chen Ming’s Consciousness Space.

Just as Chen Ming was thinking that the coordinates the Phase Giant Beast was heading to might be territory unique to the Phase Giant Beast, forbidding other lifeforms from entering—

The blue light in his Consciousness Space suddenly flared, shielding his Consciousness Space and reducing the impact of the onslaught on him to a minimum.

This wasn’t Phase Space repelling him; the Phase Giant Beast didn’t possess such power. What on earth was happening?

As the teleportation process advanced—

Chen Ming felt that not only his consciousness and warship were being repelled by this force; it was as if the entire space itself was rejecting him and his warship.

The Phase Space at the destination seemed fundamentally incompatible with ordinary Phase Space; only by fully mastering Phase Power could one even attempt to accommodate this repulsive force and avoid being pushed out.

But right now Chen Ming was utterly incapable of that.

He only carried the mark of Phase Power; he himself had not mastered the slightest fragment of that power.

And then, at the moment the teleportation ended, when his robot and ship arrived at the destination—

In a timespan so short that Chen Ming could scarcely react, his ship was instantly squeezed out of Phase Space by this force he could no longer resist, returning to normal space.

And in the very next instant, his robot and the Cruiser it rode in were annihilated in a flash by an immense power.

The ship’s wreckage was immediately afterward obliterated by a Phase Power attack of unprecedented ferocity, leaving not even a possibility of Repair.

He completely lost visual access to that Star System, and also lost the ability to track the Phase Giant Beast’s trail.

The final image Chen Ming saw through the robot and the ship was only a shadow that blotted out the sky.

Chen Ming furrowed his brows, and once again Manufactured a new Cruiser in the region his ship had previously passed through.

He initiated teleportation once more.

And this time, Chen Ming didn’t even have time to see clearly what was happening before the ship was destroyed; he was utterly unable to observe any useful information, and the ship’s recording devices captured nothing of value.

All he could determine was that the ship had been destroyed by brute force, and then completely eradicated by a peculiar Phase Power with an extremely specialized offensive nature.
