Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station
Chapter 1372: Advancement of Technology (Part 4)
He knew his abilities had limits, but technology did not.
So Chen Ming was researching how to template and modularize this optimization program, trying to reduce its computational complexity, allowing it to adapt to more basic environments and be applicable in many more settings.
Instead of being only applicable to nanorobots.
He wanted to continually lower the barriers to using this program, ultimately enabling it to delve into countless fields.
In addition, Chen Ming had another research plan.
That was to apply this optimization program to Spiritual Energy.
But this was quite complicated, and he didn’t have any clear direction yet.
However, he thought that if he combined his two ideas, He Gu, who was working on making Spiritual Ability Technology suitable for civilian use, might be quite interested.
It’s just that He Gu seemed to be occupied with studying the military application of Spiritual Weapons at Fan Chao’s place, and probably didn’t have time for now.
When he has some free time, Chen Ming would specifically go to find He Gu to hand over this project.
After all, the optimization program was only a secondary research project for him.
What he was primarily researching was the Nanoforge.
Inside the body of the Scavenger was a damaged Nanoforge, and it still hadn’t been repaired.
The reason was simple: Chen Ming’s Spiritual Energy didn’t work.
It’s not that the Nanoforge had been attacked by Destructive Spiritual Energy or something similar, but rather it was attacked by time.
It had been damaged for so long that Chen Ming’s Spiritual Energy couldn’t affect it, being nearly as ancient as ten thousand years ago, and thus couldn’t repair it to its former state.
At least it could still be used, it could still be used for the construction of colonies.
With sufficient materials, it could build a new industrialized colony within a few days.
However, from Chen Ming’s analysis, the final industrialized colony established would undoubtedly be in the style of the Shimmering Civilization. It couldn’t be directly applied to humanity.
So he was trying to transform the Nanoforge from a Shimmering Civilization Nanoforge into a Human Civilization Nanoforge.
The progress was reasonably noticeable.
Because the iteration update of the nanorobots within the Scavenger itself also optimized the nanorobots within the Nanoforge.
They could quickly adapt and learn the technology of the Empire.
They could also optimize the industrial buildings they constructed themselves.
And this wasn’t an optimization that was completely accepting, but rather a fusion of Shimmering technology and human technology.
The final result could merge the advantages of both sides.
Not only could it make the colonies more potential, but it could also allow Chen Ming to grasp more advanced technology to a certain extent.
It can only be said that the value of these Giant Beasts was indeed terrifyingly immense.
Every one of them was like a treasure trove.
As long as their issues could be resolved, only benefits would remain.
And after Chen Ming brought back the news of the Star-Eating, a meeting was held.
These Giant Beasts, including the Plane Nightmare and Star-Eating, were all collectively referred to as Leviathan.
The Scavenger Robot was counted in as well.
All research processes related to Leviathan were collectively called the Leviathan Project.
Throughout the Empire, it had the highest level of authority, and any needs would be met by the Empire as much as possible.
It was evident that the Empire was indeed focusing on development now and hadn’t been intoxicated by its great victory in the war against the Mechanical Race.
The higher-ups of the Empire were also aware that there were countless existences in the universe threatening the survival of the Empire.
Chen Ming, of course, was happy to accept the current situation.
Besides theory and research progress,
some substantive plans had also been pushed forward over the past half month, such as the climate modification plan that Chen Ming was most concerned about.
