Chapter 1375: Chapter 1351: Black Crow Appears, Killing Without Hesitation

"It seems like a really large bird just flew by!" Quan Xianglin wanted to see it more clearly, not yet at the age where his eyes deceived him.

"A large bird?" Shao Qinyi suspiciously muttered, but he didn’t notice any trace of a bird in the sky.

"Hmm! It looks more like a giant bat, moving quickly." Quan Xianglin remained vigilant without extending himself, only pressing his face against the window to look upward.

"Chairman, quickly close the window and fasten your seatbelt." Shao Qinyi pondered over Quan Xianglin’s words, a bad premonition forming.

Quan Xianglin hesitated for a moment, then complied with Shao Qinyi’s advice, withdrawing completely.

Bang! A sound of something heavy hanging down came from above. Quan Xianglin felt the car body shake violently, the direction veering off course. Shao Qinyi dared not stop; he slammed the accelerator, deliberately driving the car like a snake, shaking off whatever was on the roof.

After a moment of shock, Quan Xianglin immediately wanted to close the remaining half of the window, but at this time, a hand reached down from the car roof, a black leather glove extending into the car, the face unseen.

Quan Xianglin screamed in fright, desperately trying to push the hand away while keeping his hand firmly on the button.

The speed at which the window glass rose caught the hand outside, but soon the glass was pressed down by that hand, completely losing the functionality of a car window.

Shao Qinyi glanced back, suddenly turning the steering wheel to the left side, causing the car body to sway, a sound echoed from the roof, and the hand that had reached inside withdrew. Taking advantage of the moment, Quan Xianglin closed the car window, and Shao Qinyi quickly turned the steering wheel to the right again. After several attempts, he saw through the rearview mirror that a figure jumped off the car roof.

Before he could breathe a sigh of relief, he instantly slammed the brake. Just as he tried to shake off the person on the car roof, a child suddenly dashed out from the front of the car, holding something unknown, staring blankly at his vehicle.

The sharp sound of the brakes pierced the night, even though both were securely fastened by seatbelts, they were still thrown against different places due to the abrupt stop.

The child was just a step away in front of the car; Shao Qinyi sat inside, clicking the door lock as he quietly observed the unusual child.

Quan Xianglin also noticed the child, appearing unfazed by their vehicle, slowly walking away from the car front, clearing a path for them.

"Go, quick! Go!" Quan Xianglin urged, Shao Qinyi hurriedly started the car, but no matter what he did, the car seemed to be pulled from behind and couldn’t move forward. The tires slipped, only the engine emitting a grinding noise.

"The car won’t move." Shao Qinyi turned to Quan Xianglin and said. "I’ll check; Chairman, find a chance to escape."

Shao Qinyi opened the car door and jumped out. Apart from him and the car, there wasn’t a soul on the construction site, like everything before was a mere illusion.

Going around to the rear, he found the rear tire wedged against a large stone, lifting the back half of the car. Shao Qinyi cautiously surveyed the surroundings, beginning to extract the stone beneath the car.

This stone wouldn’t just fall under the car on its own, and if the car had been lifted for the stone placement he would have known; how did the stone find its way under the car?

The stone lodged under the car was extremely tight, Shao Qinyi tried several times but couldn’t completely remove it; so he forcefully pushed the car forward, with a creak the corner wedged in broke free, and the stone rolled out.

Shao Qinyi exhaled a breath, kicking the stone away; where his eye caught stood a figure, the clothes hem fluttering in the wind, startling him as his hand rested on the car door.

Sitting inside, Quan Xianglin noticed Shao Qinyi’s odd behavior outside; he tapped the car glass, but the person outside didn’t look back, instead walked toward a certain direction.

The closer Shao Qinyi approached, the more he felt the thin air, his right hand slipped into his pocket tightly clutching the gun, standing firm before that person.

Black feathers fluttered down from the sky, beneath a pale face, scarlet lips drew a beautiful curve at Shao Qinyi.

"Long time no see, Shao Junwei!" clad in all black, with a black hat, a toss dispersing black feathers all around.

"Magician!" Shao Qinyi couldn’t help but step back, realizing ’Black Crow’s’ people appearing here, Xiao Lin shouldn’t be too far away.

The Magician chuckled twice, pointing toward the direction of the car; Shao Qinyi couldn’t help but turn as well, watching the child now wielding two axes ready to slam down on the car door.

"It’s the Clown!" Shao Qinyi had never met the Clown before, but recognized the two axes, one large and one small. "I had an agreement with Xiao Lin, you can’t harm Quan Xianglin yet."

"Haha!" The Magician laughed. "That’s your business; my orders are to kill Quan Xianglin, don’t obstruct." Beneath the hat, the Magician’s face and eyes were concealed, Shao Qinyi could only feel a chill atop his head as the Magician already moved three or four steps behind him.

Bang! Bang bang!

A sound of collision echoed behind, Shao Qinyi struggled to move his feet, steeling himself as he charged back, pulling out his gun aiming a bullet at the Clown.

Sitting inside the car, Quan Xianglin wasn’t an idiot, he opened the other door rushing out, towards the right building for cover.

A girl who looked extraordinarily cute landed lightly in front of him, blocking his way. "Who are you?"

Shao Qinyi saw Quan Xianglin’s retreat being blocked by a clown, and quickly approached Quan Xianglin. "Angel? Adam Gadmon!"

"’Black Crow’?" Quan Xianglin turned around, are there still two more people hiding somewhere?

"One more to go! Lucifer"

"Has the Magician arrived too?" Quan Xianglin asked tremblingly, though he hadn’t directly interacted with these people, he had heard from others about Xiao Zhenfeng’s ’Black Crow’, sinister and ruthless killers.

"Are you looking for me?" The Magician suddenly appeared beside Angel, moving silently like a ghost.

"What do you want to do?"

"Kill you!"

Angel was the first to strike, her target was Shao Qinyi, and the steel wire as thin as hair flew toward Shao Qinyi’s neck like a silver thread.

Seeing this, Quan Xianglin immediately rolled to the side, and Shao Qinyi fell to the ground, dodging Angel’s first attack in a miserable state, and fired a shot at her back.

As the bullet left the chamber, the target had already disappeared.

Shao Qinyi was shocked; he quickly climbed up from the ground, a chill ran down his back, as his neck had already been wrapped in a silver wire.

The gun barrel nestled between the silver wire and his neck, barely saving a thread of life.

Quan Xianglin was dumbfounded, just one person—Angel—had easily subdued Shao Qinyi, without even seeing Shao Qinyi make any attack, taken by surprise. He was even more unable to escape the predicament.

The Magician slowly approached Quan Xianglin, staring at him intently like his prey, bloodthirstily licking his lips, raising a hand with a sharp short sword pointed at Quan Xianglin.

In the face of death, everyone becomes exceedingly humble, and so was Quan Xianglin; he had never been in such close contact with death, supporting himself with both hands, moving backward bit by bit, his legs too weak to stand.

A whistle sounded, and the Magician stopped. He looked to the sky, a huge black shadow pressed down from above, and he quickly retreated to the side.

The shadow hovered above Quan Xianglin’s head, spinning around him rapidly like a hurricane. Outsiders couldn’t see the commotion inside; within seconds, Quan Xianglin disappeared with the hurricane.

The Magician chased after hurriedly, soon another lean figure followed.

"Stay here!" The figure passed by the Magician, leaving behind a sentence. In the blink of an eye, it floated far away with the hurricane.

Simultaneously, another person followed the figure ahead swiftly, leaving the Magician and others on the construction site.

Angel let go of Shao Qinyi, and blood oozed from where the steel wire had strangled him. He felt that Angel genuinely intended to kill him; if it wasn’t for the sudden use of the gun, his head would have fallen instantly, unable to fully grasp the power of this wire.

"Who were those?" Shao Qinyi vaguely saw two people leave with the hurricane, one seemed to be Xiao Lin from the back, and he couldn’t guess the other.

No one answered Shao Qinyi’s question; ’Black Crow’ disappeared as suddenly as they appeared, leaving Shao Qinyi alone on the construction site, a car door damaged, clueless about who kidnapped Quan Xianglin.

He lit a cigarette, took a drag! Only then did Shao Qinyi slowly start the car and drive back to his apartment.

To him, who took Quan Xianglin wasn’t important; preferably someone would kill the old man without him intervening. But thinking carefully, the person capable of taking Quan Xianglin from Xiao Lin and ’Black Crow’ must be stronger, possibly Mu Rongyun.

All he could do now was wait. If it was Mu Rongyun, then Quan Xianglin’s chances of survival were great; he’s bound to seek him out.

Elsewhere, Xiao Lin was chasing that massive shadow through the streets, its speed incredibly fast, losing it several times on the streets, only to spot it again soon.

Despite sensing someone following, Xiao Lin didn’t have the leisure to care about who it was, as those without hostility weren’t worth considering. It’s rare for Mu Rongyun to appear, and missing this chance to catch this big fish would be difficult.

The shadow drifted further away, soon leaving the city center.

A few cars as black as the night parked by the roadside, the shadow quickly darted inside, not even having time to close the car door, the car started swiftly, darting far away into the suburbs.
