Spiritual Energy Rejuvenation: I Began Cultivating By Farming
Chapter 2577 - 1488:
Anyway, they’re all good friends who always hang out together, so they can "share" the same junior sister.
No matter which one she chooses, they all have a chance to become the beauty’s partner.
Right now they’re like they’ve been injected with chicken blood, endlessly introducing themselves and their own masters.
"No, I’m not leaving."
The Fairy stubbornly refused to leave, because it’s relatively quiet here, even though this place is not as good as the others.
She’d already fallen in love with this place the moment she landed.
Fewer people meant fewer complications.
The Fairy is no newbie to Cultivation; she used to drift around the Martial World of the Cultivation World, and only by fighting her way through did she become an Empress.
Even after becoming an Empress, she still got schemed against.
The Fairy trusts human nature even less—human hearts, especially the hearts of the guys in front of her.
Every one of them was determined to win, their intentions written blatantly across their faces.
Not a single one of them looked like a good bird.
Standing beside these people, listening to all their generous conditions, in her heart they still couldn’t compare to this place, couldn’t compare to the Master of Biluo Peak standing before her.
Cooking for herself, no servants, self-sufficient, no one around to stab her in the back—that felt pretty good.
If she really became their junior sister, where would she ever find a quiet place to cultivate?
Without a quiet place to cultivate, how could she have the time to improve her strength?
...
Since the Fairy chose Biluo Peak instead of them, how could they possibly let it go so easily?
One after another they kept marketing themselves, their masters, their capabilities.
The Fairy’s resolve was rock solid; she insisted on staying here.
The Master of Biluo Peak felt incredibly gratified, thinking that taking in a female Disciple wasn’t so bad after all.
"Hmph, if you don’t choose us, you’ll regret it. Since you won’t choose us, then let’s compete."
"Right right right, since you won’t choose us, don’t blame us for being rude—let’s have a match."
Each of them was rubbing their fists, determined to teach this beauty a lesson.
Since the Fairy wouldn’t drink the toast and insisted on drinking the forfeit, then they would make sure this master-and-disciple pair got a lesson.
"Peh, peh, I’m just not leaving. No matter how good your place is, it’s not as good as my master’s. I just want to be my own master’s Disciple, hmph!"
The Fairy didn’t give them any face at all. These people belittling her master was a huge disrespect.
As a Disciple, of course she wouldn’t be polite to them.
Being polite to them would be insulting her own master.
These people insulting her master was being unfriendly to her; if they were already unfriendly, why on earth should she be polite?
Never mind the pretty words coming out of their mouths—she knew perfectly well her master was anything but simple.
It’s just that her master had secrets and didn’t show off like the people in front of her; he simply didn’t want to flaunt it.
The Fairy mentally filled in the rest: her master didn’t want to accept too many Disciples.
He wanted a quieter place; if it meant taking in these brainless, arrogant and domineering Disciples, he’d rather not.
Arrogant and domineering Disciples could one day bring trouble on his head.
People like that were potential roots of disaster.
The Fairy had seen plenty; she’d met all kinds of people.
Her own qi deviation had been because of a traitor, hadn’t it?
If it hadn’t been for that traitor, she wouldn’t have suffered that tribulation.
She absolutely needed a quiet place for her abilities to recover quickly.
The people in front of her needed to hurry up and disappear.
These men had never expected the beauty in front of them to be this fierce and foul-mouthed.
Her attitude was completely different from the way most women behaved around them.
Every woman who appeared before them always acted very gentle, or very proper and polite.
None of them would ever be like this woman—beautiful yet spicy.
She didn’t act like some pampered daughter, some young lady at all.
And she was even defending the Master of Biluo Peak.
That made their teeth itch; the more they couldn’t get a woman, the more they wanted her.
"You..."
"You, you..."
"Why are you so crude?"
The men all stared, eyes wide and stunned.
"You what you, stuttering much? Why don’t you go back and learn to talk from your masters? If you don’t even know how to talk, go back. You’re annoying!"
The Fairy waved them away, looking thoroughly impatient.
"All right then, you’re asking for a beating!"
One particularly reckless male Disciple struck without thinking, flinging out a Spell from his hand—a Fireball Technique shot straight at her.
The Master of Biluo Peak... oh yo, they’re fighting—retreat.
He immediately drifted far away.
In secret, he cast a glowing barrier around his thatched hut—no way was he letting his house burn down.
As for whether he should help his female Disciple?
At this point he was retreating; the Disciple could hold the line.
The Master of Biluo Peak quickly backed off, and the Fairy’s heart sank a bit, feeling this master wasn’t all that reliable.
Isn’t the master supposed to help, while the Disciple blocks a little?
Why was the master running so fast?
She had no choice; the Fireball was already flying at her, so the Fairy could only cast the Water Ball Technique.
She extinguished the opponent’s Fireball.
Their strength was actually on par with the Fairy’s.
The Fairy’s power had dropped to roughly their level; the only edge she had was far richer combat experience.
Besides, her strength had only been suppressed, not truly lowered to this realm.
Facing the opponent head-on, and with her soul recovering as well, of course she quickly snuffed out the opponent’s Spell.
As the Fairy fought that rough brute of a man, the other men watched.
And the bystanders who’d come to watch the fun all wanted to see just how strong the Fairy was.
The Fairy challenged one, beat one, then hooked her finger at the rest, inviting them up.
"Fighting or not? If not, then leave. Get lost already!"
These men were all Heavenly Pride, and in today’s fight they were determined to win, even if it meant ganging up—one group beating one person, making themselves look bad.
They still had to win.
The onlookers saw a whole bunch of men using a Formation to besiege a single woman.
They were shocked, then full of pity, already imagining the besieged woman’s fate—she might very well die.
The Fairy was surrounded, and the sword in her hand had yet to move.
The Master of Biluo Peak saw his female Disciple being besieged and got a bit angry.
"Tsk tsk, you guys are shameless. So many men beating up one woman—are you even men?"
The other men... You’ve got some nerve talking. You, as her master, jumped aside and pushed your female Disciple forward. Aren’t you the one making us hit a woman?
The spectators... As expected of the useless Master of Biluo Peak—letting men beat up a woman.
The Fairy... With a master like you, even if I didn’t want to fight, I’d have to.
"Disciple, here, a kitchen knife for you. Go chop vegetables—chop them, chop them, chop them, mince them into meat paste, and we’ll make buns for lunch."
The Master of Biluo Peak tossed a kitchen knife to his Disciple, the Fairy.
This kitchen knife was extremely sharp. As it flew through the air toward those men, the men... hey, why does it feel so chilly?
They dodged quickly, and so the knife flew on to hover before the Fairy.
The Fairy took one look: wasn’t this just the kitchen knife from the kitchen?
How could this one kitchen knife be better than her Magic Treasure Sword?
Her master had given her this kitchen knife—was he seriously asking her to chop them like vegetables?
She did know how to cook, and chopping vegetables was fine, but using a kitchen knife as a weapon—that was a first.
The kitchen knife seemed to have eyes; while she hesitated and didn’t pick it up, it actually stopped right in front of her.
It didn’t fall, and the handle remained floating right in front of her.
The people surrounding them could all feel how sharp this kitchen knife was.
The knife’s light flared, making it clear this was no ordinary kitchen knife; it was one extraordinarily, extraordinarily sharp blade.
Even before anyone wielded it, the knife’s glow was already thick with killing intent.
The Fairy glanced at the knife again, then at her master.
She let out a soft sigh—she, a great beauty, a woman, was actually using a kitchen knife as a weapon; she really didn’t know what her master was thinking.
She’d noticed yesterday while cooking that the knife was very sharp.
She’d thought it was just sharp, never imagining it could be used as a weapon.
Surely a kitchen knife couldn’t compare to a Magic Artifact, right?
The Fairy had no choice but to give her master some face. If the kitchen knife didn’t work, she’d just use other methods to beat them.
She flicked her hand, the kitchen knife left her grip, and in the space all around her it started hacking at the other men.
