Chapter 62 | Return And Pizza!
Chapter 62: 62 | Return And Pizza!
A faint smile appeared on Andrew’s face.
"With this, he will be very difficult for me to be assassinated."
As his perception continued to spread throughout the academy, feeding him a constant stream of information about the people and objects within his range, he noticed students were starting to enter the academy.
Only then did Andrew remember.
"Today’s the first day of classes..."
The academy’s official lectures for newly awakened Ultras were beginning today.
Every student who had participated in the Awakening Ceremony, who had entered Heaven’s Domain for the first time, and had received their talent was expected to attend these classes.
The lectures would teach them the fundamentals of being an Ultra, the theory and practice that would form the foundation of their future careers.
He didn’t need to look at the clock on the wall to now the time.
"Morning already? I played a lot longer than I thought."
Just then, he noticed Monica sleeping peacefully on the bed beside his.
She had pulled a bed up next to his bed at some point during the night and had fallen asleep while watching over him.
Andrew smiled softly as he looked at her sleeping face. She looked really pretty with her golden hair splayed down there like he’d like to do to her.
He gently shook her shoulder. "Monica."
She stirred slightly, a small sound escaping her lips, but didn’t wake.
Andrew chuckled and woke her more firmly.
"Monica. Wake up."
She slowly opened her eyes. The moment she saw him awake, a warm smile appeared on her face.
"Good morning."
"Morning."
"How was your night?"
She stretched lazily, her arms reaching above her head, her back arching revealing two sumptuous mountains to Andrew who inhaled deeply at the sight.
This was also one issue of being an Ultra. All senses are heightened. The stronger you are, the more heightened your senses are. Which means the more pain you get and also, maximum amount of pleasure. Being horny all the time also counts.
A cute yawn escaped her lips as her muscles stretched.
"It was alright," she said, blinking the last of the sleep from her eyes. "I waited for you to come back. Must have dozed off at some point."
Then she smiled curiously. "So... How was Heaven’s Domain?"
Andrew smiled back. "It was fruitful."
He didn’t go into details.
Monica’s smile widened. "I’m happy for you."
Andrew nodded.
"We still have about two hours before lectures begin. You should probably head back to your hotel and get ready. You’ll want to shower and change into your academy uniform before class."
She stood up immediately, the mention of class snapping her fully awake. "You’re right. I’ll meet you before class."
"Alright."
After Monica left, Andrew called over one of the medical staff. A young woman in a white nurse’s uniform approached his bed with a professional smile.
"Excuse me. Could you tell me where the academy dormitories are?"
The nurse smiled politely. "Of course. Are you being discharged?"
"I think so. I feel fine."
"I’ll need to do a quick check first, but you look good to me. I’ll take you there myself after I finish the paperwork."
A few minutes later, after a brief examination that confirmed Andrew’s wounds had healed properly, the nurse escorted him out of the medical bay and across the academy grounds.
A few minutes later, Andrew arrived at the Elite Student Dormitory.
The building was impressive, far nicer than the ordinary dormitories that housed the Fodder Class students. It was a five-story structure made of white stone and glass, with large windows.
Several students happened to be walking through the hallway when Andrew entered.
The moment they recognized him, their expressions changed.
"...That’s Andrew."
"He doesn’t look as scary as they say."
"Hm, try offending him first."
The students instinctively stepped aside, creating a clear path for him.
None of them wanted to provoke someone with such a terrifying reputation.
Andrew ignored the stares and simply followed the academy staff to his assigned residence, walking past the whispering students without making eye contact with any of them.
Unlike the ordinary dormitories shared by several students, his room was entirely private. The nurse explained that Elite Students received private rooms as a matter of course, one of the many perks that came with their elevated status.
The room itself wasn’t luxurious.
It contained only a single bed, positioned against the wall with a nightstand beside it. A compact kitchen occupied one corner, with a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a two-burner stove. A private bathroom was tucked away behind a sliding door, complete with a shower, toilet, and sink. A wardrobe stood against one wall, empty and waiting for clothes. A desk sat beneath the window, large enough for studying or working, with a comfortable-looking chair pushed underneath it.
Everything was painted in clean white. It wasn’t much, but it was alright. For the first time in his life, Andrew had a space that was entirely his own.
After taking a quick shower, and changing into his academy uniform, nearly an hour had passed.
The uniform was well-made, comfortable fabric with a professional cut, the Maryland Academy emblem embroidered on the chest in silver thread.
Only one hour remained before class.
His stomach suddenly growled.
"I almost forgot... I’m starving."
The Magus Bloodline was a consuming bloodline of life and essence, which meant his body required almost ten times the food that a normal person would eat to sustain itself. He had been so busy with the giveaway and the assassins during his time in Heaven’s Domain that he hadn’t eaten anything. And before that, he had been unconscious in the medical bay. It had been a long time since his last proper meal.
He immediately ordered ten large pizzas to be delivered to the academy.
It was an absurd amount of food for one person but for Andrew, with his enhanced metabolism, it was barely enough to take the edge off his hunger.
Thanks to Maryland City’s efficient delivery network, the food arrived within fifteen minutes.
"Enjoy your meal, sir," the delivery man said, his voice slightly dazed.
Andrew tipped him generously before returning to his room, kicking the door shut behind him.
Within the next fifteen minutes, every single pizza disappeared.
