SSS Rank: Limitless Extraction With 10,000x System

Chapter 83 | Relief And Escape

Chapter 83: 83 | Relief And Escape

"Huh... This New God might be stronger than I thought." Then he vanished.

Andrew stayed frozen. He didn’t move a single muscle, didn’t blink.

Twenty minutes later, space twisted again. The man reappeared, a smirk on his face. "Huh... I thought he might actually be hiding nearby like some coward..." He clicked his tongue. "Seems I wasn’t convincing enough." Then he disappeared again.

Cold sweat drenched Andrew’s forehead. His heart hammered so hard he thought it might give him away. He remained motionless. Minutes turned to hours, and he still didn’t move.

Then another thought crossed his mind. This wasn’t enough. He needed more protection. He summoned the system again. "System."

[Yes, Host.]

"Upgrade Danger Sense to EX-Rank."

[Current Skill: Danger Sense. Advancing to SSS Rank requires 150 Investment Points.]

"Do it."

A sharp pain shot through his brain. Then the notification appeared.

[Upgrade Successful. Danger Sense has advanced to EX- Rank.]

New information flooded his mind.

[Danger Sense — EX Rank]

Predict danger 5 minutes before it happens and based on thoughts, simulate and analyze your future paths to escape danger.

Andrew’s eyes narrowed. ’Why was the information so simple?’

He pursed his lips and activated it but nothing happened.

He suddenly thought of leaving, but there was no warning sign.

He then thought of activating Godscion Bestowment again.

"BOOOOM!"

An explosion rang out in his head and his entire alarm clock flashed. His brain seized as an something occupied his senses.

"Puchi!"

Pain radiated every single part of his body.

He looked down and saw a hand piercing his chest.

"Haha. I found you." It was that same man, covered in crimson living tattoos

The man’s face twisted and it split into two as a woman blossomed out of it like a flower. She was incredibly beautiful but she was actually a demon!

"It’s been so long since I tasted divinity. The old gods are cautious are the new ones don’t dare reveal themselves. Thank you for feeding me your divinity."

Before Andrew could respond, the image vanished and his was back in the tree.

At some point he had fallen off the tree and on the ground panting desperately for breathe.

"What the actual living fuck was that!?"

He screamed out loud and he vomited on the ground. He felt himself actually die! Thankfully it was just a premonition!

He recovered after a while and sighed.

"That was terrifying."

He laughter despite almost shitting himself.

Since there was no immediate danger, it meant the terrifying being had finally left.

But even then, he didn’t dare remove the mask. Not for a second. He’d learned something important.

Gods were insane. Just accidentally exposing himself had drawn one’s attention. Removing the artifact now would be reckless beyond belief.

Slowly, Andrew straightened his back and his expression hardened. He had barely survived today. And after today, he understood one terrifying truth. He was far weaker than he thought.

Without another word, he turned his gaze toward the distance. It was time to continue the mission and level up.

"Time to complete the blacksmith quest. I’ve delayed enough already."

...

The Misty Forest is like a haunted forest even during the day.

Sounds were amplified, the rustle of leaves sounded like whispering voices, the crack of a twig like a gunshot.

Shadows moved and shifted with every passing breeze, creating illusions of movement where there was none. The air was cool and damp, carrying the scent of earth, vegetation, and decay.

Andrew didn’t care about all these. He was pretty sure he could burn through any ghosts with his Chaos Dao Flame.

He moved through this landscape with the confidence of a predator or the stupidity of naive prey.

Which ever one he was, will be revealed soon enough.

Omniscient Perception spread through the entire forest in a blanket so whether ghost, demon or beast, as long as they can’t pass through 3 kilometers in a single breath, then he could see them.

[A/N: Anytime I type ’Omni’ my keyboard automatically pops up ’Omnidragon’ ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ]

However the moment his Omniscient Perception spread through the mist, he could see nothing.

His perception had been reduced to about a 100m radius, the rest of the 2.9 km was filled with fog!

’What the?’

It was SSS-Rank skill after all, no one, not even an Infinitum should be able to hide from his perception.

Right now, he felt naked and exposed without the talent like he had been blinded in his other eye with a moisture of blurriness in his eyes.

He drank his daily Goddess’s milk, energy filled his entire body. But Andrew’s tongue stretched out pervertedly as he licked the drop at the tip of the flask, closing his good eye to savor the feeling.

Though suppressed, Omniscient perception painted a continuous, detailed picture of his surroundings within a hundred-meter radius. Every tree, every rock, every insect, and every movement was rendered in his mind with crystalline clarity. It was as if he had a third eye that saw everything, a sphere of perception that moved with him like an invisible bubble.

The first trail he picked up was faint, barely distinguishable from the natural patterns of the forest floor.

Three days of wind, rain, and animal activity had obscured most of the signs, but Andrew’s enhanced senses could still detect the microscopic traces like disturbed soil particles, broken twigs at specific angles, and the faintest residue of human sweat that had soaked into the ground and clung to the vegetation.

He followed the trail for nearly twenty minutes, moving deeper into the forest where the trees grew taller and the canopy thicker. The sunlight that had been filtering through the leaves above gradually diminished until he was walking in near-total darkness. A normal person would have needed a torch or a light spell to see anything.

Andrew simply closed his eyes relied entirely on his Perception.

As he tracked the trail, it suddenly stopped and a corpse could be seen at the edge of his perception.

Andrew opened his eyes flashed to the corpse and knelt beside the remains.
