Chapter 30: Entering the Domain

A week after the summon by the Adventurer Guild.

The true outlands had welcomed thousands of adventurers from all over the mortal world.

In this time, those who qualified for the special mission weren’t entering their normal zones in the true outlands.

They were instead redirected to a special coordinate.

The adventurers were gathered in the location of the domain.

The Adventurer Guild was very invested in this mission, they made provisions everyone who answered the summon.

Thousands of adventurers from all over the mortal world gathered together in one place. It was quite the sight.

On that day, when Kotil had emerged as the one to lead the mission.

The Adventurer Guild had released the details of their special mission.

The mission of the bloodline bearers was in essence, to open and lead the way.

The other adventurers would follow behind them.

The one who would lead the special mission, Kotil, had also made a speech about unity.

After he felt the gathering had served its purpose, Neo had excused himself from Raela and the others.

He had visited Mia and the team.

He had informed them of what he knew about the mission, and left them with a reminder to be careful.

Neo knew he and the team now had a gap between them that will continue to widen.

He knew this day would come. There was nothing he could do about it.

No one in this mortal world could match his growth.

Now, Neo was together with the other bloodline bearers.

Bloodline bearers from the five families of the three other sectors had joined them.

There were a total of thirteen families in the mortal world.

Nowhere near the number of Clans in the Immortal World.

But it somewhat made sense.

Now, that everyone was gathered.

It was time to get into that domain.

Kotil stood before the gathered bloodline bearers.

The other seven who had contended with him for the leader’s position stood a step behind him

Everyone’s attention was on the man.

"The wait has come to an end. Before we go in, there are some things I will like to let you all know."

He raised a finger to signify his first point.

"We are not the only ones entering this domain. Most of you are aware of that."

Two fingers.

"Our main ally is the military. We might meet bloodline bearers from other powers. We won’t be bothering with them."

Three fingers.

"But if we meet any demon. Their only fate is to be killed."

He made sure everyone understood that point.

"This domain has many entrances. This is one of its many entrances, but this one I have come to understand is special."

He pointed at the towering ancient gate that was visible from where they gathered. The gate gave off a vast ancient aura, it was embedded into a large hill.

That was the form the entrance into the domain had taken.

"The entrances within this domain have points where they converge.

"It is a dangerous place we will be walking through. There will be a lot of things coming at us.

"There will be demons. There will also be strange entities native to this domain."

Kotil made sure to emphasize this again.

"There will be places we will walk into that are filled with nothing but death.

"When inside, we all must be vigilant.

"And most important of all, listen to orders."

He emphasized this last one.

"This entrance here is one that needs bloodline aura to unlock it. Going through here will give us some advantages in the domain."

He looked at everyone.

"The military has provided us the formation we will use to unlock this entrance into the domain."

He told everyone what to do next.

The other adventurers watched the people who had been gathered apart from them leave for the towering gate in the distance.

In front of the towering ancient gate, the formation had already been prepared.

It was a large formation engraved into the ground.

All the bloodline bearers had to do was stand within the formation, and release their bloodline aura into it.

Everyone chose their spot.

Kotil was the first to start.

He activated his bloodline.

Then released his essence.

The thick white essence aura covered him entirely.

A pressure that pressed on the surrounding radiated from it.

Heavy like a mountain.

It wasn’t just his essence radiating the pressure.

The aura of his bloodline was the one giving the hefty mountain feeling.

His bloodline was definitely one of the Earth lineage.

Everyone followed him. They released their bloodline aura into the formation.

All sort of bloodlline aura clashed in the surrounding.

The pressure it created was stunning.

The other adventurers who had been watching their actions, felt the pressure that came from the direction of the towering gates.

They were left in shock.

This was no doubt bloodline aura.

They had never seen this number of bloodline bearers gathered in one place before.

There were more than a hundred of them.

"So, this is what a bloodline truly feels like." Derek sighed.

Mia’s team was also among the gathered adventurers.

Mia watched it all.

She suddenly felt melancholic.

Unlike Neo, she knew there was no awakening coming for her.

She looked at Sofia.

She was surprised that the young woman had taken all that had happened in stride.

Neo also released his bloodline aura into the formation.

It was not Devour.

He didn’t dare to.

It was still the Five-character bloodline he had revealed.

The place they released their aura into was just one part of the large formation.

The whole formation was connected to the locked ancient gate that led into the domain.

The gate did not swing open.

Instead, the ancient gate began to turn ethereal.

The more time passed, the fainter it turned.

Until they could see the inside of the domain.

It was a darkness that hid everything.

But that didn’t seem to be enough.

Their essence aura billowing in full swing.

It wasn’t until the darknees began to recede, and they could see the vast tunnel that was on the other side.

That was when Kotil stopped.

It was the signal everyone had been waiting for. They began to rein in their essence aura.

They had accomplished one part of their mission.

The next was to enter the domain.

Kotil moved forward.

He stepped through the place the ancient gate had been.

He crossed into the tunnel.

Stepping into the domain.

He turned back to look at everyone.

He nodded once.

That was the cue.

Everyone followed.

There was no rush.

The first group to enter after Kotil was the seven who had contended his current position with him.

Then everyone followed in small groups.

The powerful ones were the first to enter.

It continued that way until it reached Neo and Raela’s turn to enter.

The two entered together with the five people they had been with at the gathering.
