Chapter 69: Rescued
Bang!
A deafening sound reverberated throughout the cavern.
The women were shocked to see a human taking an orc’s attack head-on. Leon was currently adorned in frost armor, covered from head to toe. Frost haze was emitting out of his body, and he breathed out snow. The ice of his right showed cracks; however, the orc failed to break through it.
Additionally, Leon also didn’t step back, as even if he blocked the attack, the force it generated was enough to fling him through the air. It was widely known humans were physically as strong as the other races.
It was the result of his additional physical strength. It helped him take in the force with ease.
Amidst this exchange, Leon didn’t let moments of surprise slip through. He grabbed onto the orc’s arm, not wanting to let him escape.
"Glacial Spike," Leon softly whispered, staring at the orc’s ugly face.
The orc’s sense of danger tingled. He wanted to move away but failed. The grip Leon had on him was as strong as their finest warrior!
"You—" The orc couldn’t finish his sentence as spikes of ice fell on top of him, riddling his body with holes.
"Ack!" The orc’s eyes turned white, indicating his end.
"Bastard!" The next moment, the other orc who uses fists appeared beside him and punched at his waist.
Leon glanced at him before dodging the attack using [Lightning Steps].
The orc turned his head to chase Leon, but his eyes widened in surprise, seeing Leon’s work.
Leon was lifting the orc who was using curses, crushing his neck, and killing him too.
"You guys are truly meatheads. You let go of your win condition so easily." Leon smirked, letting go of the orc’s neck.
Thud!
This curse-using orc was guarded by one, so Leon had to find a way to separate them or he wouldn’t be able to kill him.
"So, now let’s finish this." Leon’s frost armor slowly began to melt, wetting his body and clothes.
The remaining orc felt fear and anger at the same time. He took a step back, thinking of escaping, but halted. This young man would never let him escape, and his mocking eyes infuriated him greatly.
The orc assumed a fighting stance and began gathering his energy. "Let me see how you can—"
Puchi
"Ahhh, villains. Always monologue." Leon shook his head, watching a shadow claw ripping apart the orc’s heart and crushing it into pieces. He never thought he would be able to abuse this scenario.
"Ack! Ack!"
Thud
He too fell to his death, never imagining his end to come suddenly. He just came here to sell their women, not to die.
Finally clearing the trouble, Leon walked toward the women who looked at him with fear. Possibly thinking he also wanted to kill them, as humans hated them the most.
However, Leon didn’t kill them. Standing in front of them, he admired them and said softly. "Ladies, are you okay?"
The orc women’s eyes widened in surprise. They didn’t ever imagine hearing those words, and it came from a human.
The orc woman, who was the oldest and the tallest, answered. "We are okay. But may I ask, why are you here?"
They all cautiously looked at him, still worried about their lives.
"It’s nothing. I work in the security department. Today I caught some suspicious young masters, and it led to me here," Leon said truthfully. "Now, you are rescued."
"Rescued..." The oldest orc woman murmured, hearing an unfamiliar word. The other women were the same. They were so oppressed in their life, they didn’t experience the most basic rights.
The next moment, they all stood up and bowed slightly to him. "Thank you, benefactor."
Because they were taller, the melons they possessed were also a league of their own. They were basically giant pumpkins that jiggled in front of him, making his little brother slowly stand up.
"It’s fine. By the way, let’s first introduce ourselves. My name is Leon Ashbrone." Leon waved his hand as if it was nothing.
"My name is Gul-Min." The oldest spoke, who had white hair, was also the one with the biggest assets.
"I am Lo-in." Next spoke the one with red hair, who surprisingly had saggy tits. She felt a little reserved.
Lastly, said the woman with a wide smile. "I am To-Rin, and this is my sister To-Ain."
These two women were brunette and held a wild, confident smile.
Leon nodded his head in satisfaction and asked. "Is it only your four? And do you know the way to return?"
Gul-Min answered with a sigh. "It’s just us four, and we do not know the way to return. We are not familiar with the tunnels here. Also, we don’t know where we are right now. We were forcefully taken away to give to powerful warriors."
"Hmmm." Leon rubbed his chin, contemplating. He thought these four would know something, but they were kept captive the whole time, a tool for war.
Leon looked at them and said. "Ladies, then I have bad news. This is the capital of the strongest human force. In the den of your most hated enemy."
Everyone’s faces turned pale hearing that. It meant they had no way of returning home; they might have to hide here forever.
"However, I do have a way to help you in this predicament." Suddenly, Leon’s words sparked the fire of hope in them.
"What is it?"
"For this moment you have to listen to me wholeheartedly. Also, don’t worry. It isn’t something that will hurt you. You have to repeat some words," Leon said with a smirk. A plan was brewing in his mind to topple down a smaller family completely.
They looked at each other, communicating through their eyes. Eventually, they made a decision.
"We are willing to follow you on what you say." Gul-Min stepped forward and agreed on behalf of everyone.
"Thank you, everyone, for believing in me," Leon said with gratefulness.
