Chapter 495 - 495: Awakening Zion

The figure stretched out his hand for Silva to help him up.

"My name is Zion, by the way," he said before Silva grabbed his hand. Silva was confused about why a technique would have a name like that, but he did not think about it much and simply grabbed his hand.

The moment he did that, Zion vanished and fused right into Silva. A sharp pain followed, filling his body completely and forcing Silva down to his knees. He grabbed his head and groaned in pain as he felt the change happening inside his body.

The system screen suddenly popped up before his eyes.

[Unknown Power invading the System]

It rang out loud, and Silva looked at it.

'Invading the system? Why is Zion entering the system?' That was the only thought Silva could think before the pain got even sharper and he had to focus on surviving.

[Congratulations Silva on the birth of the Zion system]

[A high-powered hybrid system made specifically for you]

The voice of the system changed into Silva's voice, which was basically Zion's voice.

A holographic figure appeared and then took a fully human form of Silva, but wearing a white diffuser cloth. He had on a black coat with some purple designs. His silver hair was slicked back, and his eyes had some sort of dark eyeliner as well.

The pain in Silva's head finally stopped. He looked up and saw Zion standing there.

"What did you do?" Silva asked.

"I am created to become your main method of gaining strength and power, but when I entered you, I discovered that you had your own way of gaining strength, the system," Zion began to explain. He walked to a rock and propped himself onto it.

"I could not get rid of it because it was basically a heavy part of you, and so I had to find a way to accommodate it. I realized the system had some low-level consciousness.

"I simply took over it and created Zion, your new system," Zion explained casually.

"My new system?" Silva was stunned. Not long ago, after he became a demigod, he had a change in his system, and he was still managing to accept that change. Now Zion had come and taken over it completely and changed it into something new.

"Yeah, a new system," Zion said. "Better, more powerful, what you need to get stronger.

"After you became a Demigod, your system restricted you to getting EXP from killing only divine beings. Divine beings are not easy to come by and are not easy to kill, so I find it a ridiculous system."

"Yeah, it is a system created by a god for a being on a small planet. I don't think she was able to handle things beyond that. I'm guessing for the sake of order, it had to be that way."

"Haha," Zion laughed. "You and order in the same sentence. A dark dragon spits in the very face of order. That is why you exist, so nothing about you flows with order," Zion said and then dropped down from the rock.

"So now I made a lot of changes. For one, I made it possible to kill any being and extract life essence, which in your own words is EXP. Sadly, I could not make it ten times like that when you kill a divine being."

"So you mean if I kill a monster randomly, I get EXP like before?" Silva asked with wide eyes, eager to hear the response.

"Yup, that's what I just said, dude. Keep up, you have eleven minds. There is also something else that you can find inside all beings that you kill.

"And that's called divinity shards. In every being, there is divinity, some greater than most, and you can use divinity for creation. Gather enough, and you can create a spell, divine weapon, armor, even create divine warriors if you have enough.

"You can also use it to bestow blessings on your summons. For instance, all your abyssal monsters have access to it," Zion explained as best as he could, and Silva was simply looking with wide eyes.

"What about my circles? Do I get proper circles? I am a demigod, but I have not managed to create one. Will I not be able to?" Silva asked.

"Oh yeah, I also fixed that. I realized that your system messed up your chances of creating one because it did not follow the specific method that was made to get the circles.

"So I reset your stat system and made the levels start from the beginning. I know that you have had to reset the system after becoming a demigod, but a reset will not hurt.

"This time, when you make it to a certain level, it counts for a proper pathway, and that takes you towards your bottleneck. Destroy your bottleneck and breakthrough to get the circle.

"You have already pretty much reached the bottleneck to get the first circle. So when we leave here, you'll have to go through a breakthrough. I have a system for that now, and it should be pretty easy for you, considering the fact that it is you."

"Damn, you seem to have worked everything out," Silva said.

"I was made by a primordial being who specializes in creating stuff. Using the DNA and power of the strongest being in the universe, it would be stupid if I could not do this.

"There is more that you and I will do together moving forward, Zion and Silva, but for now, it's time for us to leave this place. I have not been outside this pocket realm for so, so long," Zion said.

"Alright then, so how do I leave?" Silva asked.

"Simply close your eyes, and I'll see you on the other side."

Silva did what he said and shut his eyes, and when he opened them again, he was standing inside the room where he had entered the trial.
