The sadistic smile faded from Lilith’s face replaced by a cold, demonic focus.

Purple mana exploded around her body and her wings beat the air violently, propelling her toward the short-statured Morveth at lightning speed.

Her speed befitting the Ascended rank was so immense that the distance between them began to vanish in the blink of an eye.

The two Fallen-rank guards did not wait for her to arrive.

The moment she closed the gap between them, the two guards moved in unison.

The horned guard lunged from the side, dropping low before darting toward her with blinding speed. His speed surpassed even Lilith’s, as if his body were specifically designed for pursuit and rapid engagement. He aimed a direct strike at her path, forcing her to change direction.

As for the chain-bound giant, he didn’t head toward her at all.

He spun his massive body, planted one foot into the ground and swung his massive chain in a wide arc, aiming his strike at a point that seemed completely removed from Lilith’s current position, as if he were targeting someone else on the battlefield.

Lilith had no time to think. She twisted her body in the air, narrowly dodging the horned guard’s strike, then thrust her wings to alter her trajectory toward the other side.

But the moment she took that direction...

Whooosh!

The chain had already arrived.

The massive iron weight came hurtling in from the side, blocking her path at precisely the point she had moved toward.

The giant’s strike wasn’t aimed at where Lilith was, but at where she would be forced to go after evading the first attack. It was as if he knew exactly where she would head!

Booooom!

Lilith crossed her arms in front of her body and took the hit directly. She was thrown backward by the force of the impact, her heels carving a deep trench into the earth before she could come to a halt.

Yet, she showed no sign of surprise. Instead, a small smile appeared on her face while her eyes narrowed.

"I really hate fighting seers..."

Lilith vanished in a purple flash, as if she had teleported.

In the next instant, she appeared behind the chain-bound giant, still suspended in the air as her body finished materializing.

But the giant had already turned around.

He raised his massive leg and unleashed a crushing kick toward the spot where Lilith had appeared, as if he had been waiting for her to arrive there from the very beginning.

He didn’t give her enough time to dodge.

His massive foot slammed into her body, launching her far into the air.

Despite being thrown backward, Lilith didn’t lose her balance. She spun her body in mid-air and swung her whip in a wide arc, aiming the strike directly at the giant’s face.

But the horned guard, who was standing at a distance from her, suddenly moved.

He threw himself to the left, and almost simultaneously, Lilith’s wrist snapped to the side, changing the whip’s trajectory mid-swing. It veered away from the giant and shot toward the spot where the horned guard had been standing just moments earlier!

Whooosh!

The whip cleaved the air, but it struck nothing but empty space.

The red-horned guard had already lunged in from the other side, lowering his body until his chest nearly touched the ground. He shot forward in a lightning-fast dash, leaving a cloud of dust in his wake.

Lilith’s eyes gleamed.

Her wrist twisted, and her black whip shot from her hand. But before it could carve its way through the air, a purple flash swept over it, transforming its metal components into tangled strands of black lightning.

Black electrical arcs danced along the length of the whip, crackling sharply as it shot toward the guard.

But the guard didn’t wait for the attack to reach him. It was as though he already knew what she was about to do.

The moment Lilith began to move her arm, he was already in motion.

He dropped onto his hands and slid forward beneath the whip’s path with a lightning-fast motion, like a beast crawling toward its prey.

Zzzzzzt!

The black lightning swept the air above his back, its red flashes illuminating the battlefield for a moment, while the guard continued his charge without slowing down, extending his claws toward Lilith’s exposed knee.

Lilith did not step back to dodge him.

On the contrary, her body shuddered for a moment, and her demonic smile widened as his claws crept closer to her knee.

"Let’s see what you’ll do about this, you wretched Dreamer."

Fsssh!

Six consecutive purple flashes erupted around the guard, and when the light dimmed, six copies of Lilith had appeared across the battlefield. Six identical bodies, with six pairs of black wings, six black whips, and six manic smiles plastered across the copies’ faces.

The copies spread out in a blur of motion, surrounding the two guards from all sides, closing them into a circle that left no clear escape route.

Then, all six arms rose in unison.

The six whips no longer retained their usual form.

The first transformed into a tornado of purple flames, the second into a torrent of black ice blades, and the third into a storm of cutting winds that ripped through the ground beneath it.

The fourth stretched out like a massive black serpent, its metallic rings twisting through the air as long, sharp spikes emerged from its body.

The fifth extended into a formation of tightly packed purple spears, their pointed tips lined up in the air, all aimed at the two guards.

The sixth disappeared into a vortex of dense darkness at its tip, which began devouring the surrounding light, while thin black threads extended from its center like fingers reaching out to seize anything they touched.

"Let’s see if you can withstand this," all six copies of Lilith said in perfect unison as they hovered in the air.

The next moment, the six whips shot out from different directions.

The flames swept down upon the circle from above, the ice blades rained down like a storm, and the cutting winds tore through the ground beneath the guards, while the spikes, spears, and black threads rushed toward them from all sides.

The six whips converged above the center of the circle, their forces bearing down on the two guards from every direction.

For a moment, their bodies disappeared behind a wall of purple flames, black ice blades and tearing winds, while the spikes, spears, and black threads pierced the heart of the storm.

Then...

Booooom!

The colliding forces detonated all at once.

A massive sphere of purple light swelled at the heart of the forest before expanding violently, unleashing a shockwave that swept through everything around it.

Trees were uprooted, their trunks shattering in midair, while the ground split under the force of the explosion and rocks and mud were hurled across the forest like projectiles.

The blast sent Lilith’s six copies flying through the air, scattering them across the sky around the center of the storm.

Their black wings swayed amid the violent winds, while ecstatic smiles remained etched on their faces, as if watching the destruction they had caused was what delighted them most.
