“Let’s go together,” Fang Ping laughed. “With Spring Autumn and Long Zhan present, we’ll beat the shit out of him if Chaos Sky dares do anything. The two major monster spirits can eat him with one bite!”

“......” Spring Autumn looked wordlessly at the Human King. Seriously?

Granted, she wouldn’t retort at this moment because a joint effort to prevent Chaos Sky from conquering the chaos was the most important. If not, none of them would have a good time in things to come.

It’d be even better if they were able to weaken Chaos Sky somewhat.

Spring Autumn grinned to herself upon securing the Human King’s offer of help. And with Long Zhan and herself, they would be able to put up a fight against Chaos Sky even if Li Hao was killed!

“Are we really going?” transmitted the supreme as he glanced at the Human King.

“Let’s go take a look!” responded Fang Ping. “Who knows what the kid is up to. Maybe he wants to take advantage of this opportunity to do something. If not... would he bother staying in the west with that personality of his?

“He might have actually planned for Spring Autumn to run around recruiting people on his behalf. Only this old monster spirit is actually worried about Li Hao benefiting Chaos Sky by dying there. That’s never happening!”

Li Hao had plenty of tricks up his sleeve if he wanted to leave. The river of time was the best option.

So the little guy didn’t actually want to leave. If he did, he could take off before Chaos Sky returned and grab some eighth ranks. They could do the trade through the void. There was no need to increase the danger he was in by staying there!

Li Hao stood on one side of the world gates. There were six eighth ranks in his river of dao. Peng Cheng and the others were still talking up a storm, hoping that the young man would recognize the situation he was in and join them.

Peng Cheng brightened with joy, as did the old man heave a secret sigh of relief. They were back! This was the Nine Layer Guard.

They had been the strongest faction beneath the Order master’s banner back in the day. Now, they numbered eleven eighth ranks and seventeen seventh ranks, making for twenty-eight premier powerhouses!

There had been more back in the day, almost one hundred in the Nine Layer Guard. A large batch had died when the Order master died. The others fled under the leadership of their captain, Withdrawal. This was the greatest trump card left to Chaos Sky.

The formidable shadow revealed his true features when he appeared, but was still a bit intangible as he hovered in the gloom.

They were the guardians of order.

“Release them, Silver Moon King!” snapped Withdrawal. “The dao master will be here soon. Release them now and back away. You might preserve a sliver of a chance for yourself then!”

A powerful presence drifted in the void. Withdrawal was much stronger than imagined. His presence rivaled Li Hao’s, making him a premier heavyweight of seven or eight thousand dao rules!

Based on terms of strength, this guy could absolutely be the overlord of a faction. He would be on par with the combined Five Elements overlords.

Another more powerful presence approached them at the same time—Chaos Sky. He was in no hurry to approach. He was watching and waiting for something.

Li Hao clucked his tongue. He was strong, but there were so many exalted emperors around him. The black shadow captain of the guard was not weaker than him. Death would be the only outcome for him if they really mobbed him.

None of these people were newly ascended eighth ranks. They were all veterans, some with longer tenures than Chaos Sky.

Li Hao remained calm and flicked a noncommittal glance into the distance.

“Fellow Daoist Chaos Sky, you and I have not clashed against each other much. I haven’t killed your people, it’s actually the fellow daoist who’s schemed against me. I’ve been passively enduring your plot all along and simply broken it.

“When it comes down to it, it’s the fellow daoist who’s done wrong against me, and not I against you, no?”

“These words are hardly proper.” Chaos Sky’s response was placid. “If it wasn’t for Fellow Daoist Hao Moon coming to my Chaos Sky Region, there would have been no such thing as a plot. I fought Disorder, yet you came to the west, did you not?”

Li Hao nodded after some thought, but quickly smiled, “Can’t I just come to take a look? Make some observations and learn from your work? I wasn’t necessarily here to cause trouble, and the fellow daoist hardly gave me a lesson in the interest of prevention.

“Let’s be frank. I did have ulterior motives in mind, but the fellow daoist laid your plans on me a long time ago. You’re worse than me.”

“Wrong,” Chaos Sky laughed. “Why would you be in this situation if you weren’t greedy and hadn’t refined my replica?”

“But you gave that to me. We discussed our terms, you agreed to give me a replica. How is that being greedy? The prices were clearly labeled on the goods!”

“I didn’t say that I was giving it to you to be refined!”

“......” The two seemed like squabbling elementary school students, each insisting on their own sides.

Withdrawal and the others frowned. They didn’t understand. Was there a need for the dao master to say so much to Li Hao? This was completely pointless!

Chaos Sky appeared at this time. Yuan Shuo was standing beside him, as well as a big tiger with its head lowered dejectedly. It was surprised to see Li Hao.
