Only Su Wanyi herself knew how much she had sacrificed for her career, and how many bitter experiences she had gone through.

Yang Tiantian looked at Su Wanyi thoughtfully and just gently nodded.

Ye Chen was busy in the kitchen, all to cook a lavish dinner for the two girls.

He also felt he was really lucky that Su Wanyi and Yang Tiantian could get along so well.

If the Two People ever started fighting, Ye Chen stuck in the middle would definitely be in a tough spot.

"Tian Tian, why didn’t you come to our date that time?"

Su Wanyi looked at the girl in front of her and asked.

"Sister Wan Yi, here’s what happened. I actually got to the restaurant door, but when I saw how close you and Ye Chen were, I couldn’t take it, so I didn’t go in to see you. I’m sorry."

Yang Tiantian said very honestly.

After hearing that, Su Wanyi also nodded. She knew that if she were in Yang Tiantian’s shoes, she would probably have done the same.

"Tian Tian, this is really nothing. You don’t need to blame yourself."

Su Wanyi said, holding Yang Tiantian’s hand.

Maybe because they were both girls, the Two People always had lots of common topics and were chatting very happily.

After a while, Ye Chen came out of the kitchen carrying dishes.

Seeing this, Su Wanyi and Yang Tiantian stopped chatting and headed toward the kitchen.

"Wanyi, Tian Tian, you don’t need to do anything. I’ve got this. You two keep chatting."

Ye Chen spoke up to stop them.

But the Two People ignored Ye Chen and kept walking toward the kitchen.

Just like that, in no time, eight dishes and one soup were laid out on the table.

The three of them sat down, with Su Wanyi and Yang Tiantian sitting on either side of Ye Chen, hemming him in the middle.

"Hubby, you’re totally playing favorites. Just because Tian Tian came over, you actually made such a huge spread."

Su Wanyi looked at Ye Chen by her side and said on purpose.

"What are you talking about? I didn’t make this just for her. This is a reward for you Two People being so well-behaved. I really didn’t expect you two could get along so peacefully."

Ye Chen looked at Su Wanyi, then at Yang Tiantian, and said with a smile.

Before Su Wanyi could speak, Yang Tiantian piped up.

"Ye Chen, Wanyi and I are good sisters now. We’re not going to fight over you. You don’t even need to imagine that happening."

Su Wanyi chimed in cooperatively.

"Exactly. Our sisterhood is deeper than whatever feelings we have for you."

Hearing that, Ye Chen had a bad feeling in his heart. Looked like these two girls were teaming up against him.

"Alright then, fine, I misspoke. I’ll punish myself with this drink."

As Ye Chen spoke, he picked up the glass in front of him and tipped his head back, downing it in one go.

He had nothing going on tonight and had two beauties keeping him company, so he was in a great mood and felt like drinking.

Seeing Ye Chen drain the glass in one gulp, Yang Tiantian grew curious about what the liquid tasted like.

At that moment, Su Wanyi picked up her glass and looked at Yang Tiantian.

"Tian Tian, welcome to this home."

"Thank you, Sister Wan Yi."

Yang Tiantian smiled and picked up her glass too. After one sip, she felt her mouth burn like crazy.

"So spicy! I really don’t get it—something that tastes this bad, and there are actually people who want to drink it."

She hurriedly fanned her mouth with her little hand. This was her first time drinking alcohol.

Her father had never allowed her to touch anything alcoholic.

"Tian Tian, hurry and eat some food."

Ye Chen said, putting a piece of sweet-and-sour pork rib into Yang Tiantian’s bowl.

Yang Tiantian quickly lowered her head and started eating. That burning sensation just now had really been too much for her.

She swore she would never touch this stuff again in her life.

To be fair, Ye Chen picked up another piece and put it in Su Wanyi’s bowl.

The three of them enjoyed the meal very much.

During dinner, Yang Tiantian told Ye Chen and Su Wanyi some funny stories from working at the hospital.

The Two People were laughing nonstop.

Time flew by, and before they knew it, it was past ten at night.

Suddenly, Su Wanyi felt sleepy. At her age, she definitely couldn’t compete with Yang Tiantian.

She had to admit, this girl’s energy was really something else—probably had a lot to do with her habit of staying up late for long periods.

"Hubby, I’m going to bed. You guys keep chatting."

There was no way Ye Chen would ignore Su Wanyi and keep chatting with Yang Tiantian.

He turned to Yang Tiantian and said,

"Tian Tian, it’s getting late. Let’s get some rest."

"Okay then."

Yang Tiantian nodded reluctantly. She wasn’t sleepy at all, and she hadn’t had enough time with Ye Chen yet.

After saying that, Ye Chen suddenly realized a problem: how exactly were the three of them going to sleep tonight?

Normally he shared a room with Su Wanyi, but now with Yang Tiantian suddenly here, he had to take her feelings into account too.

Seeing the awkward look on Ye Chen’s face, Su Wanyi smiled and said,

"Hubby, tonight let’s each sleep in our own room."

Feeling a bit wronged, Ye Chen looked at Su Wanyi and said,

"Alright then, looks like you’re abandoning me tonight."

Even though he said that, he was actually grateful to this girl.

After all, Su Wanyi had just solved a tricky problem.

If Su Wanyi insisted on sharing a room with Ye Chen, things would’ve gotten awkward for the three of them.

So that’s how Ye Chen, Su Wanyi, and Yang Tiantian each ended up sleeping in separate rooms.

After washing up, they each went back to their own bedroom.

Su Wanyi and Yang Tiantian were fine with it, but Ye Chen was suffering.

There were two beauties in the house, and he couldn’t touch either one.

Just as Ye Chen was feeling miserable, he suddenly heard a sound at his door outside.

He glanced at his phone. It was almost midnight, so he figured Su Wanyi must already be asleep.

If that was the case, then this noise must be caused by that little girl, Yang Tiantian.

Right after, he heard a soft knock on the door.

Ye Chen got out of bed and opened it.

Seeing Yang Tiantian standing at the door, he grabbed her and pulled her inside.

"Tian Tian, you little thing, you’ve got some nerve. You’re really being naughty."

Ye Chen tapped Yang Tiantian’s little nose with his finger.

"I just couldn’t sleep. My head is full of thoughts of you."

Yang Tiantian said, looking all wronged.

"Silly girl."

Ye Chen said with a smile.

Yang Tiantian’s arrival completely cured his restlessness.

"Did you miss me?"

Yang Tiantian stared at Ye Chen and asked.

"Isn’t that obvious? Of course I did."

What Ye Chen was really thinking was that he didn’t just miss Yang Tiantian—he wanted to devour her.

But he definitely couldn’t say that out loud, or he might scare this little girl away.

Ye Chen lay back down on the bed and then motioned for Yang Tiantian to lie beside him.

Yang Tiantian did exactly as he said and lay down.

But the moment this girl touched Ye Chen, the flames in his heart flared up all over again.
