Chapter 432: Thor In Blessed Land [Bonus Chapter]

"This gate has been siphoning Asgardian frost-drafts straight into the basin for days," Thor observed with a sharp, toothy grin. "No wonder that little territory down there had so much snow to shovel initially!"

She rolled her broad shoulders, letting out a deep booming laugh that cut straight through the howling wind.

"Let’s go in with a proper bang! GWAHAHAHA!"

Thor’s body erupted into a blinding torrential inferno of golden thunder-mana.

The air around them ionized into ozone, and with a single earth-shattering thrust of her legs, the God of Thunder plunged straight into the center of the swirling chaotic vortex.

CRACK!

Once again, the Princess felt the surreal disorienting sensation of her physical body dissolving into pure conceptual momentum, traveling across the dimensional ether in the fraction of a millisecond.

SHATTER!

Reality violently reformed, and they broke through the upper cloud layer with a deafening sonic crack.

The Princess opened her azure eyes, looking down as the blinding golden light dissipated.

Stretching out beneath them was the colossal expanse of the Umbral Basin.

The basin was a breathtaking savage realm of towering obsidian cliffs, winding river canyons, and ancient forests.

Under normal circumstances, an Unawakened mortal... someone lacking a Lord Core or high-tier cultivation meridians would have had their internal organs instantly crushed by the suffocating environmental pressure of the Sovereign Realm.

However, resting against the Princess’s chest beneath her silk gown was a small, glowing pendant carved from Celestial Anchor Quartz... an ultra-rare multi-million-credit imperial artifact specifically engineered to stabilize the biology of non-awakened within the Sovereign Realm.

Thanks to the relic, she breathed the crisp air without the slightest discomfort.

She looked ahead, her eyes widening as she spotted the massive fortified stone walls of a territory rising proudly from the valley floor.

The Blessed Land.

The fortress was magnificent, enclosed by reinforced ramparts lined with glowing blue defense runes.

"There it is!" Thor called out, her voice booming over the wind as she hovered in the sky above the perimeter. "I can see the main Keep in the center! And more importantly... I can feel the unmistakable signature of the domain’s Lord radiating right from the top floor!"

The Princess tapped Thor’s armored shoulder with her silk fan, leaning in close.

"Lady Thor, approach at maximum speed, but do not release any destructive shockwaves. I wish to catch this Lord completely off-guard..."

Thor glanced down at the blue-haired girl, a mischievous and thoroughly amused smirk spreading across her face.

"Catch her off-guard, you mean?" Thor teased, recalling the reports that Blessed Land was ruled by a woman named Vespera. "Alright, little Princess! Let’s see what this Lord is made of!"

BOOM!

Thor shot forward like a falling meteor.

She blurred into a streak of gold, moving with such absurd low-altitude speed that she bypassed the outer palisades, zipped past the patrolling Shieldmaidens in the training rings, and crossed the central courtyard before anyone could even register the gust of wind.

In less than half a second, Thor decelerated from hypersonic speed to a complete dead stop directly outside the panoramic glass window of the Keep’s top-floor office.

Though Thor had strictly suppressed her destructive kinetic force as the Princess requested, the Daughter of Odin couldn’t resist letting out a tiny, concentrated pulse of raw divine thunder-mana... just enough to test the reflexes and psychological fortitude of the territory’s ruler.

CRASH! SHATTER!

The massive reinforced glass pane of the window exploded inward, shattering into tens of thousands of sparkling diamond-like crystalline shards that rained across the office carpet.

Standing directly on the other side of the shattered window, bathed in the morning sunlight, was Silas.

Silas did not flinch.

He did not duck, he did not dive behind his heavy oak desk, and his clear blue eyes didn’t even blink as the glass shrapnel exploded around him.

He simply stood tall, his dark robes hanging straight against his frame and his Gold Core humming with calm stability as he looked at the two women floating outside his office.

Silas let out a soft dry breath with his eyebrows raising slightly.

"Ah..." Silas muttered, completely unfazed by the sudden home invasion.

Thor hovered in the open gap, resting her hands on her hips as her wild blonde hair danced in the breeze.

"Greetings, mortal!" Thor’s booming voice filled the entire top floor with deafening cheer. "I am Thor! God of Thunder, Daughter of Odin, and Executioner for the Council of Deities!"

She shifted her arm, gesturing grandly to the composed, blue-haired maiden in her grasp. "And this quiet little beauty beside me is the Princess of the Human World where you hail from!"

Thor paused, her storm-blue eyes narrowing as she peered closely into Silas’s face. A spark of sudden, sharp recognition flashed across her features.

"Hold on a moment..." Thor rumbled, leaning forward in the air. "Haven’t we crossed paths before, lad?"

Silas gave a slow, calm nod, his lips twitching into a slight wry smile. "We have. Back in Ititius’s Secret—"

Before Silas could finish his sentence, Thor leaned all the way through the shattered window frame, reached out with her massive, iron-plated gauntlet, and firmly patted Silas right on top of his head with heavy thuds.

PAT! PAT! PAT!

"GWAHAHAHA!" Thor laughed with booming, unrestrained delight, ruffling his dark hair like an affectionate older sister. "I knew it! You’ve got a fantastic, remarkably pattable head on your shoulders, boy!"

Her eyes widened in sudden realization as she pulled her hand back, pointing a thick finger directly at his chest.

"I remember that aura! You’re that ridiculous Gold Core brat from the Secret Realm! The one who possesses a Gold core just like my old man, Odin!"

Thor threw her head back, laughing so hard the floorboards trembled.

"So it was you all along! You’re the true Lord of Blessed Land, not some female phantom named Vespera! GWAHAHAHA! What a magnificent shameless trick!"

Floating in Thor’s arms, the Princess’s mouth slowly parted into a perfect, silent ’O’ of pure, unadulterated shock.

Her azure eyes darted from Silas’s calm, masculine face to his broad shoulders, then to the signet ring on his finger.

’The Lord of Blessed Land... is a man?’ the Princess’s mind reeled in complete disbelief. ’Every single intelligence dossier from the Central Guild claimed Blessed Land was founded by an elite female Lord. The entire military apparatus was deceived...’

Silas sighed softly, running a hand through his ruffled hair.

The entire sequence of events had unfolded in less than three seconds... one moment he had seen a golden flash in the sky, and the next, an Asgardian deity was patting his head and exposing his deepest identity secret in front of a princess.

It wasn’t looking good.

"Before the window finishes healing," Silas said, stepping back from the ledge and gesturing into the room, "you two should probably step inside."

Thor stepped through the open gap, setting the Princess lightly onto her feet upon the plush woolen rug.

HUMMM!

The moment their boots cleared the threshold, the territory’s self-repair enchantments flared to life.

The shattered glass fragments on the floor dissolved into glowing blue mana particles, rising into the air and reforming into a pristine flawless glass pane that sealed the room back into silent climate-controlled comfort.

Silas calmly walked back to his desk, taking a seat in his high-backed leather chair.

Standing vigilantly to his right was Aurelia.

The platinum-haired Saintess had stepped forward the moment the glass shattered, her pure white robes rustling as her golden-amber eyes locked onto the newcomers with defensive focus and her hands subtly glowing with the dormant silver light of the Argent Flame.

Thor casually pulled up one of the heavy guest armchairs, sprawling into it with her legs kicked wide, while the Princess smoothed her skirts and sat gracefully in the adjacent chair, snapping her silk fan open to fan herself with practiced composure.

BAM!

The heavy mahogany doors of the sovereign office were violently kicked open, slamming hard against the stone walls with a deafening crack.

Standing in the doorway, barefoot and radiating a terrifying suffocating aura of oceanic pressure, was Morwenna.

The Dread Queen held Tidebringer drawn in her right hand, the curved saber blazing with an intense blue heartbeat as her stormy gray eyes swept across the room with murderous fury.

"Captain!" Morwenna barked. "Are you alright?! Who breached the sanctum?!"

Silas raised a calm hand, meeting his Pirate Queen’s frantic gaze with a reassuring nod.

"I’m fine, Morwenna. Stand down... They aren’t enemies."

Morwenna’s tense coiled stance subtly relaxed, though she kept her fingers firmly wrapped around Tidebringer’s hilt.

Sitting in the armchair, Thor’s storm-blue eyes lit up with intense warrior-appreciation as she looked over the scarred wild-haired Dread Queen.

"Oho!" Thor grinned broadly, leaning forward and resting her elbows on her knees. "Now that is a proper warrior! Look at that stance! Look at that terrifying bloodlust! You’ve got fine steel in your soul, woman! How about you and I step down into the dirt right now and have a glorious bone-crushing brawl?!"

Morwenna let out a long dismissive sigh, rolling her eyes as she prepared to scoff.

"I’m not interested in wasting my energy on random brawlers, muscle-brain—"

Morwenna paused mid-sentence.

Her stormy gray eyes narrowed into razor blades as she focused on the divine mana radiating from Thor’s silver breastplate and Mjölnir’s runic head.

"Wait a second..." Morwenna’s voice dropped into a low, terrifying growl, the temperature in the room instantly plummeting as the air grew humid and salty. "Are you... a God?"

Thor grinned, tapping her chest plate with an iron thumb. "God of Thunder, Daughter of Odin! At your service, sailor!"

VUUUUUUUUUM!

In less than a fraction of a millisecond, the entire office felt as though it had been violently plunged ten thousand leagues beneath the surface of a sunless crushing ocean trench.

Morwenna’s eyes darkened into pitch-black voids.

The runes along Tidebringer ignited with blinding luminescence, and the ghostly silhouette of a colossal world-swallowing Leviathan manifested behind her shoulders, bearing its fangs at the Asgardian deity.

Centuries of deep burning hatred for the divine pantheons that had chained her in the dark abyss surged to the surface in a single explosive breath.

Thor’s eyes widened with ecstasy.

"GWAHAHAHA! YES! THIS IS MAGNIFICENT!" Thor roared, her hands reaching toward the leather grip of Mjölnir as crackling golden lightning erupted from her armor. "SHOW ME WHAT AN ABYSSAL CALAMITY CAN DO—"

CLAP!

A single sharp clap echoed through the room.

Instantly, the crushing ocean pressure vanished and the blinding golden lightning snapped out of existence.

Both Morwenna and Thor froze, their momentum violently arrested by Silas’s command.

Silas lowered his hands, looking between the two mythic monsters with a deadpan unimpressed expression.

"You two are not going at it in my office," Silas stated flatly, his voice carrying an unquestionable tone of leadership. "I just had this desk polished, and I am not having my floorboards vaporized because you two want to measure your divine dicks. If you want to spar, you will wait until Aeliana finishes her daily rounds so she can erect a barrier for you two. Am I clear?"

Morwenna clicked her tongue, sheathing Tidebringer with a sharp clack.

"Tch. Fine, Captain. But I’m taking the first swing when the barrier goes up."

"GWAHAHAHA! Deal!" Thor laughed boisterously, releasing her hammer and slumping back into her chair with a satisfied smirk. "I like your style, boy! A Lord who can stop the actions of even high ranking beings with a single clap has my respect!"

Sitting beside Thor, the Princess watched the entire exchange from behind her silk fan, her azure eyes shimmering with deep astonishment.

’He just gave orders to the God of Thunder and his Hero... and both of them obeyed without hesitation,’ the Princess thought, her heart racing beneath her silk gown. ’Even the High Emperors of the Central Alliance speak to Thor with trembling formal diplomacy. This man commands them like an older brother managing unruly children.’

Thor leaned forward once more, reaching across the desk and planting another heavy, affectionate pat on Silas’s dark head...

PAT! PAT!

"I’m here for two reasons, lad!" Thor declared with booming cheer. "First, I heard you brought a magnificent dragon-hybrid into your territory, and I want to see her! And second, I came to personally congratulate you! I watched the crystal feeds of your war against the Unmovable Wall... crushing an entire army with raw strategy and force was peak combat! Odin himself would have raised a horn of mead to your victory!"

Silas smiled, accepting the compliment with a gracious nod, though he quickly reached up and gently swatted Thor’s iron gauntlet away from his hair.

"Thank you, Thor. I appreciate the praise," Silas said with a dry chuckle. "Now please, stop patting my head. I’m a Lord, not a golden retriever."

"GWAHAHAHA! I’ll think about it!" Thor laughed loudly, completely unapologetic.

Silas shook his head with an amused sigh, turning his full attention toward the elegant blue-haired noblewoman sitting quietly in the guest chair.

"Now then..." Silas leaned his forearms on his desk, his blue eyes locking onto the Princess with calm scrutiny. "You’ve been remarkably quiet. Who might you be?"

The Princess lowered her silk fan, resting her hands neatly in her lap as she offered a flawless, courtly bow of her head.

"I am the Princess of the Lord World," she introduced herself softly.
