"I hired a new nanny to look after him. They were in another room."

He just walked towards the room nearby to spend time with the child. His other children were in the millford town, only this one was nearby. So he intended to spend some time whenever he was free.

When Jack entered the room, he was surprised to see a mature black woman with a beautiful smile on her face carrying the child in her arms and playing with him.
