Chapter 1084: Part 2: Final Chance

City A was busy these days. The Beast Tamers were actively doing missions in the wilderness. The threat faced by them was not over.

The Tier-9 Beast didn’t show itself. But there were higher-tier beasts active in the hotspots. The Beast Tamers of the City were fighting against them in those hotspots.

City Governor Evelina had been keeping an eye on the hotspots since that day. But so far, the Tier-9 Corrupted Beasts haven’t appeared.

But she had seen signs of Tier-8 Corrupted Beasts trying to cross the border. Yet they retreated at the last moment.

Right now, the daily confrontation is happening. Neither side was gaining an advantage. It was because the number of corrupted beasts was so large.

The Beast Tamers of the City were doing their best to fight against the corrupted beasts.

Evelina did not let down her guard. She knew that higher-tier beasts were intelligent, and the Tier-9 Beasts were even more cunning.

She thought the Tier-9 beast could have felt the presence of her and the other two City Governors. Since all three of them were in the city, the corrupted beasts might hesitate to attack.

Even if one of them was not here, there was a risk of the corrupted beasts increasing their attacks.

In the practice room, he forgot about the outside noise. The pure white mist’s natural energy was digested by the cells of his body.

He needed recovery time. He could not spend all day and night in practice. Only Stella could do it. He then shifted his attention to the egg.

He saw that natural energy was going inside the egg non-stop. Even though he could not practice right away, he decided to stay here to let her continue with her practice.

If he went outside right now, her practice would be stopped. He didn’t want her to wait till morning, so he made the decision to stay in the end.

As time passed, he shifted his attention to the techniques one by one. He started doing imagination training. It was the only way he could spend the rest of the night.

Morning time came.

Jeremy Night recovered. He could resume his practice again. But before that, he shifted his attention to the egg again.

He saw that natural energy was still disappearing into the egg. Stella had been absorbing the natural energy non-stop for the past couple of hours.

He wondered whether she would get tired or not. Next, he paid attention to the thin lines on the beast egg. The beast egg looked more energetic and lively.

The cracks had become more visible, so his hopes rose. He felt it was worth it to spend the night here. He then resumed practicing.

As he closed his eyes and practiced the inner healing method, the pure white mist’s natural energy once again was absorbed by his body.

The admin staff came again for their morning shift duty. After taking their positions, they relieved the night shift staff.

The night shift staff shared an important piece of information. The day shift staff had previously informed them about Jeremy Night practicing inside the special practice room.

However, the night shift staff found that Jeremy Night was still practicing inside the special practice room. The young man had not left yet.

Hearing that, the day staff were surprised. Even the person who scanned Jeremy Night’s golden card was here as well.

"Are you sure the young man didn’t leave?" he asked again.

The night admin staff confirmed it by showing the login and logout details. One of the special practice rooms had not been logged out.

It showed that Jeremy Night was still inside. They were shocked. The night admin staff then left the place, and the day admin staff started their shift.

They decided to report the matter to their manager.

This was because they were not sure whether anything had happened to Jeremy Night. No one had ever used an entire day and night in a practice room.

They were worried. The identity of the young man was special. If something happened to him, they would be held responsible.

The admin staff waited anxiously for the manager to come. Soon, the manager arrived for duty. He was quickly informed about the situation.

When the manager first heard the information, he was shocked to the core. He was worried something might have happened to the young man.

There was no need for someone with a golden card to practice all day and night, because they could come whenever they wanted. They were allowed to practice inside the special room at any time.

It was not like anyone was stopping him. But he didn’t know why the young man was still inside. He then questioned the admin staff and asked about Jeremy Night’s arrival.

He then verified the time Jeremy Night had spent inside throughout the day and the entire night. He decided to wait further. If the young man didn’t come out by evening, he would report to the higher-ups.

It was possible for the young man to be in the middle of a breakthrough. He didn’t want to disturb the young man, so he would report to the higher-ups later.
