Striker of The Gods
214. Erebus maxxing
Time: 04:12 CET, late December 2033
Location: The Dark Order Chamber, Subterranean Archive beneath the Mansion, Madrid
The violet lights pulsed through the chamber like a living heartbeat.
04:12 in the morning.
Madrid was asleep.
Caos was not.
He stood shirtless at the center of the black marble floor, sweat running along the deep ridges of his transformed body. Around him, holographic projections rotated continuously—muscles, bones, neural pathways, organs, energy channels, and finally the Chaos Heart itself.
The chamber had become a laboratory.
But Caos wasn't there to study himself.
He was there to break himself again.
Erebus floated before him.
Caos stared directly into its core.
Caos:
“Erebus.”
The hologram brightened.
“I want everything.”
A pause.
“No limits.”
The violet energy around his body intensified.
“No safety protocols.”
He clenched his fists.
“Rewire me completely.”
Erebus remained silent.
Caos continued.
“I've spent too long finding ceilings.”
His eyes burned violet.
“I break one, and another appears.”
He looked toward the holographic representation of the Chaos Heart.
“I want the Heart to become absolute.”
Then his body.
“The body lethal.”
Then his mind.
“The mind limitless.”
He stepped forward.
“I want to become something the world doesn't have a name for yet.”
The chamber went completely dark.
Then Erebus answered.
Erebus:
“Understood.”
A warning appeared.
FULL REWIRING PROTOCOL
BIOLOGICAL
NEUROLOGICAL
ENERGETIC
EXISTENTIAL
PERMANENT ALTERATION
Erebus spoke again.
“This procedure will permanently alter your biological, neurological, and existential architecture.”
A final question appeared.
PROCEED?
Caos didn't hesitate.
Caos:
“Proceed.”
Another phase came to fruits.
The chamber erupted.
Violet light poured into Caos's body.
Not around him.
Through him.
Every muscle fiber illuminated.Every nerve.
The continuation of glory.
Every bone.Every cell.
The holographic model split into thousands of layers.
Erebus began the reconstruction.
Erebus:
“Phase One initiated.”
Caos's muscles tightened.
“Muscular density increasing.”
Numbers accelerated across the holographic display.
“Six hundred and eighty-four percent above previous peak.”
The violet structures inside his muscles began forming tiny energy nodes.
“Each fiber is now capable of independent energy conversion.”
Caos gritted his teeth.
The floor beneath his feet cracked.
“Bone lattice reinforcement complete.”
His skeleton flashed violet beneath his skin.
“Self-repairing microstructures integrated.”
His heartbeat accelerated.
Then—
slowed.
“Cellular regeneration optimized.”
A final sequence appeared.
“Micro-trauma repair: under three seconds.”
Caos breathed heavily.
Then the Chaos Heart changed.
It expanded.
Not physically.
Something deeper.
Something beneath biology.
Erebus:
“Metabolic architecture replacing conventional energy dependence.”
Caos opened his eyes.
“The Chaos Heart will now convert emotional, kinetic, and existential energy with 99.7 percent efficiency.”
His breathing stabilized.
“No significant energy waste.”
“No conventional fatigue threshold.”
Caos smiled.
Then the speed calculations appeared.
SUSTAINED SPEED: 392 MPH
CONTROLLED BURST: 445 MPH
Caos stared at the numbers.
“And the shot?”
Erebus answered.
“Maximum measured velocity under full resonance.”
The number appeared.
847 KM/H
Caos laughed quietly.
“Good.”
Then
The chamber changed.
The biological projections disappeared.
Only Caos's brain remained.
Millions of neural pathways appeared around him.
Then—
they began moving.
Rearranging.
Connecting.
Separating.
Reconnecting again.
Caos's eyes closed.
For several seconds, his body became completely still.
Then his eyes opened.
The violet light surrounding him had become sharper.
Erebus:
“Neural architecture restructuring.”
The pathways accelerated.
“Processing efficiency increased to 2,780 percent of previous baseline.”
Caos suddenly saw hundreds of possibilities at once.
Football matches.
Opponents.
Angles.
Trajectories.
Weather.
Crowd movement.
Tactical structures.
Every variable seemed to unfold simultaneously.
Erebus continued.
“Full ninety-minute match simulations can now be processed at approximately twelve hundred times real-time while maintaining external awareness.”
Caos looked around the chamber.
“And the Chaos Heart?”
The core appeared.
It was different now.
More stable.
More deliberate.
Erebus:
“Chaos Heart Resonance has been upgraded.”
A designation appeared.
ABSOLUTE DOMINION MODE
“Probability-field interaction has expanded to approximately 3.7 seconds ahead during high-stakes moments.”
Caos stared at the projection.
“So I don't just react.”
“No.”
“You see the possibility before it happens.”
“Correct.”
Caos smiled.
Then something unexpected happened.
The images of his mother, his father, Leonor, and his unborn children appeared.
For a moment, Caos expected the old pain.
The old fractures.
The old weight.
Instead—
they remained.
But they no longer pulled him apart.
Erebus:
“Emotional architecture integrated.”
Caos looked at his mother's image.
“Grief.”
The image changed.
“Love.”
Another.
“Abandonment.”
Another.
“Rage.”
Another.
“Loss.”
The emotions no longer appeared as wounds.
They became part of the system.
“Your emotional anchors are no longer destabilizing the Chaos Heart.”
Caos watched silently.
“They are available as controlled sources of energy.”
He touched his chest.
“So the pain remains.”
“Yes.”
“But it doesn't control me.”
“No.”
Caos nodded.
“Good.”
Phase 3: existential singularity.
The chamber went silent.
Even Erebus seemed to hesitate.
The final stage appeared.
EXISTENTIAL SINGULARITY
Caos stood perfectly still.
Erebus:
“Final integration beginning.”
The Chaos Heart pulsed.
Once.
Twice.
Again and much more. Nothing can stop it..
Then—
nothing.
No explosion.No scream.
Caos was ready for another match.
No uncontrolled energy.
The violet storm simply became still.
Perfectly still.
Caos opened his eyes.
The final system appeared.
Erebus:
“You can now consciously select which emotional anchor to draw from.”
Caos looked toward his mother's image.
Then Leonor.Then his child.
Caos really understood the problem that was to come t
Then his father.
He understood.
He didn't have to destroy the past to become stronger.
He could carry it.
Without being crushed by it.
Another ability appeared.
VIOLET DOMINION FIELD
Erebus:
“Localized reality interaction has been established.”
Caos raised an eyebrow.
“Explain.”
“Within a limited area, you can influence minor environmental variables.”
A holographic football appeared.
“Ball trajectory.”
The ball curved.
“Opponent balance.”
A figure shifted.
“Air density.”
The surrounding atmosphere changed.
“Probability.”
A coin flipped.
It landed exactly where Caos had predicted.
Caos stared at it.
“Interesting.”
“One warning.”
Caos looked at Erebus.
“The ability is limited.”
“How limited?”
“It cannot rewrite reality without consequence.”
Caos nodded.
“That is enough.”
The final sequence appeared.
MENTAL RESILIENCE: COMPLETE
Fear.
Doubt.
Hesitation.
The system marked them differently.
Not erased.
Controlled.
Caos understood the distinction.
He could still feel fear.
He simply couldn't be ruled by it.
The process ended.
Silence.
The chamber returned to normal.
Caos stood alone on the black marble.
The violet energy surrounding him had changed.
It no longer exploded outward.
It moved around his body like liquid armor.
Controlled.
Quiet.
Precise.
Dangerous.
Absolute.
Caos looked at his hands.
Then toward the Chaos Heart.
Caos:
“I feel everything.”
He looked up.
“And nothing owns me anymore.”
Erebus answered.
“You are operating at 99.94 percent of the theoretical maximum for your current architecture.”
Caos smiled.
“Current architecture?”
“Yes.”
“So there are still possibilities.”
“Always.”
Caos laughed quietly.
“Good.”
Erebus continued.
“Further development will require external catalysts.”
Caos's eyes narrowed.
“Then I'll find them.”
The chamber doors opened.
Caos walked into the hallway.
Three figures were waiting.
Zeraphina.
Keyla.
Michaela.
They had felt the transformation from upstairs.
Zeraphina's eyes widened as she looked at him.
“You look different.”
Caos stopped.
“Do I?”
She slowly approached.
“You look like you just rewrote the definition of human.”
Caos gave her a small smile.
“Perhaps I did.”
Keyla stared at him.
“That's a little terrifying.”
Caos laughed.
“You're not afraid.”
“No.”
She smiled.
“I'm impressed.”
Michaela stepped closer.
She placed her hand against his chest.
The heartbeat beneath it was steady.
Powerful.
But calm.
“It's different.”
Caos looked at her.
“How?”
“Before, the power felt like it was trying to escape you.”
She smiled.
“Now it feels like it knows exactly where it belongs.”
Caos nodded.
“The storm is under control.”
Zeraphina crossed her arms.
“And what are you going to do with all of this?”
Caos looked toward the mansion above.
“Keep playing.”
Keyla laughed.
“Of course.”
Caos continued.
“Keep scoring.”
He looked toward the darkness beyond the hallway.
“Keep breaking records.”
Then his expression changed.
“And keep finding something capable of challenging me.”
Michaela shook her head.
“You're impossible.”
Caos smiled.
“Probably.”
He looked at all three women.
“But you were right.”
Zeraphina raised an eyebrow.
“About what?”
Caos placed a hand gently over hers.
“The power needs anchors.”
His eyes moved between them.
“You are still those anchors.”
The violet energy around him appeared again.
But this time it didn't roar.
It simply surrounded the four of them.
Steady.
Warm.
Controlled.
The Chaos Heart had grown stronger.
The body had become faster.
The mind had become sharper.
But the greatest change had happened somewhere else.
Caos had finally stopped treating his emotions as weaknesses.
He had learned to carry them.
The storm was no longer raging blindly.
It had direction.
Purpose.
Will.
Caos: even God discovers that some things are good, or better than others […] for God is endowed with will [and] the will is under the rule of the good” . By “discovers,” Leibniz meant that the nature of goodness precedes God’s will and is grounded in “the ideas exhibiting the essences of things, which are found in [God]” , analogous to how the geometrical features of circles are “discovered” in God’s ideas, not arbitrarily decreed. These ideas are necessary and eternal products of God’s own self-understanding . God freely manifests God’s inherent goodness by creating a world. Within this creation, some beings (minds) possess “reason to examine good and evil, and to choose between them”, enabling them to recognize the goodness in creation and respond with love and praise for God. The good exists originally in God, is expressed through God’s free act of creation, and finally is recognized and admired by human intellect and will.
And somewhere beyond the mansion, the world continued moving toward the next match.
Unaware that Caos had just crossed another invisible boundary.
The rewiring was complete.
And whatever came next—
would have to meet him there.
