Fang Qingyu lifted the cup of clear tea in front of him, sipping gently with a relaxed posture.

Da Lei’s gaze settled on Fang Qingyu.

He was silent for a moment before finally breaking the tea room’s tranquility:

"Did you purposely make such a scene last night just for me to see it?"

Fang Qingyu’s hand paused slightly as he held the teacup and looked up at Da Lei.

A hint of innocent surprise appeared on his face: "Why would you say that? I don’t quite understand what you’re talking about."

Da Lei’s face darkened by several shades.

He stared at Fang Qingyu, his tone hardening with suppressed irritation: "Don’t understand? With your combat strength, you could’ve finished them off long ago. Did you need to wait until he escaped, transformed into that disgusting meat mountain, and created such a spectacle? If not for me, then who?"

His speech grew faster, clearly infuriated by Fang Qingyu’s innocent facade: "Are you afraid people don’t know how formidable Fang Qingyu is, or are you afraid they don’t know how chaotic this City of Injustice has become?!"

Hearing this, Fang Qingyu set down his teacup, quickly shedding his innocent demeanor.

He leaned back slightly, resting against the comfortable chair, fingers tapping lightly on the rosewood armrest.

Apparently deep in thought about Da Lei’s accusations.

After a while, Fang Qingyu lifted his head, a faintly amused curve forming at the corner of his lips.

His tone carried a hint of earnest realization:

"Oh, when you put it that way, it does make some sense?" He nodded, meeting Da Lei’s fiery gaze, and casually added: "Yes, you’re absolutely right."

"You—"

Da Lei felt a surge of anger rush to the top of his head, the veins on his temple throbbing.

In all his years ruling the City of Injustice, he’d never been contradicted with such sarcastic disdain.

Especially by a young man barely in his twenties.

Ultimately, Da Lei took a few deep breaths, forcibly suppressing his roiling anger.

With a sigh, he said: "Just tell me your grievances openly, for Nvba’s sake, I won’t get angry."

Hearing this, Fang Qingyu’s eyes brightened instantly.

He sat up straight, his former earnestness morphing into a cheerful and forthright smile:

"City Lord, you said it yourself! You’re as good as your word!"

Da Lei, with a darkened face, nodded heavily, forcing out a word through clenched teeth: "Speak!"

"Alright."

Fang Qingyu’s smile deepened.

The next second, he reached into his pocket.

Pulling out a thick, thread-bound notebook.

Grasping the notebook’s edge, he gave a hard pull.

Wham!

The notebook instantly unfurled into a two to three meters long scroll covered with densely packed fine script.

Fang Qingyu slapped the scroll onto the rosewood tea table between them.

"City Lord, have a look!"

Fang Qingyu’s voice still carried a smile, but the warmth had vanished, "This is a list that my men have compiled over the past two years regarding human trafficking in the city. Look at this, thousands of names! And this is just my investigation over two years!!!"

His finger jabbed heavily at the still-wet ink names, his voice rising sharply with unabashed questioning: "So, take a guess, how many have been trafficked into the City of Injustice since its establishment?! In my opinion, we shouldn’t call it the City of Injustice anymore. Let’s rename it to Trafficking City or Human Black Market Capital, do you find it fitting?!"

Da Lei’s face was beyond describable as dark.

His gaze fixed on the absurdly long list, fingers clenching until they turned white.

Yet, Fang Qingyu wasn’t finished speaking.

Giving Da Lei no chance to respond, he reached into his pocket again.

This time, pulling out a thick stack of photographs.

The photos scattered across the tea table.

The images pierced Da Lei’s eyes instantly.

What kind of group is this...

Some curled up in dark, damp corners, skeletal and emaciated, their bodies barely holding onto any flesh, just loose skin clinging to protruding bones.

Eyes hollow, resembling two rotting black holes.

Devoid of any living sparkle, only a hollow numbness and despair.

Others confined to small iron cages, like livestock awaiting slaughter, with vacant expressions, drool uncontrollably dripping from their mouths, forming small puddles on the dirty floor.

They were clad in tattered clothing.

Faded fabric strips, their exposed skin covered in grime and suspicious sores.

Some couldn’t even be identified by age or gender, as if all vitality and spirit had been drained, leaving vacant stares and rigid expressions.

In the background of the photos, countless similar figures were faintly visible, densely packed.

"And these ordinary people..."

"Do you know where they are?!"

Not waiting for Da Lei’s answer, he continued:

"They’re in a place under your governance, a place called Paradise City, where there are millions just like them!"

"Look at them like this, tell me, can they still be called human?"

"Enough!"

Da Lei slammed his palm onto the tea table.

He abruptly stood up, his normally calm aura suddenly stirring violently.

The blue-gray robe fluttered without wind, rustling loudly.

An unimaginable oppressive force filled the entire tea room.

Da Lei glared at Fang Qingyu, his voice icy:

"What turned them into this?! Tell me!"

Faced with such terrifying anger and pressure that could make a normal Tier Four tremble in fear.
