"Mom! Mom, what’s wrong?!"

"Ah Qiang! Ah Qiang! Wake up! Hold on to me! Don’t go up!!"

A wife desperately clings to her husband’s legs.

But an irresistible power lifts her feet off the ground.

"Grandpa! Grandpa!!"

In the yard, several children cry out, unable but to futilely grasp at his tattered pants.

"Sister! No!!"

A younger brother watches in terror as his sister floats higher, his little hands reaching vainly skyward.

"Let go! Quickly, let go! You’ll be taken away!!"

On the streets, people still possessing reason scream.

Frantically pulling at those who are clinging stubbornly to the floating individuals.

In that moment, cries, pleas, and desperate screams reverberate throughout the city.

And at the top floor of the City Lord’s Mansion.

Behind the massive floor-to-ceiling window.

Da Lei stands with hands behind his back.

Outside the window, the city is plunged into chaos and panic.

The night sky holds the heart-stopping explosion.

And above... the hundred-meter blood light.

Da Lei silently watches all this.

His deep gaze sweeps over the floating figures with vacant eyes.

Passing over the despairing cries of the living below.

He speaks slowly, voice calm yet tinged with coldness, resonating in the empty, quiet room:

"I always said, it doesn’t matter who comes into the city, it’s fine as long as they follow the rules."

He then pauses slightly, his gaze still locked on the purgatory-like scene outside the window.

"But at least... those living here should be human, right?"

An elder standing beside him, responsible for monitoring the city, suddenly sweats profusely.

The clothing on his back is already soaked.

He bows deeply, his voice trembling uncontrollably:

"Master, please calm your anger, this is the Celestial Punishment Association’s method, I’ve reported it several times before..."

His voice grows quieter, filled with fear and penitence.

Upon hearing this, Da Lei’s previously emotionless expression.

Shows a slight, extremely subtle fluctuation.

He slowly turns his head, his gaze for the first time withdrawing from the window.

Landing on the elder’s deeply bowed head.

He remains silent for a moment.

Finally, the corner of his mouth lifts minutely, revealing a near bitter realization.

His gaze returns to the night sky outside, to the entity growing ever more solid, ever larger.

Da Lei’s voice is as light as a sigh, laden with indescribable complexity:

"Ha..."

"So, is he doing this intentionally, showing it to me?"

...

Arctic, night sky.

The explosion in the Earth Palace with its Red Gold ring continues to expand wildly.

The raging aftermath leaves the air chaotic.

At the core of that explosion.

The red light has now grown a hundred meters.

The red light seems to possess life, stubbornly squirming and growing amidst the chaotic currents, like a terrifying embryo being nurtured.

The recent mad roars came from the depths of this red light.

And from the city, the thousand who floated skyward...

Have pierced through the dome’s fissures, like a flock of crows returning to roost, flocking silently toward the hundred-meter red light in the night sky.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Like water droplets merging into the sea, or moths plunging into flames.

Each silhouette, upon touching that squirming, expanding scarlet light.

Encountering no resistance, merges directly within.

Every integration causes the red light to swell more fiercely.

The aura it emits becomes even more ferocious.

Within the City of Injustice, innumerable shrieks reach their peak.

Then transform into a silent lament of despair.

Those pulled back, seeing their loved ones used as fuel, swallowed by the terrifying red light, vanish completely, their hearts dying with them.

On the sea.

Struggling upright from the explosive aftershock, Jiang Wei, Wei Banmeng, and others who had fallen into the sea or climbed onto the shattered vessel.

All witness this horrifying scene.

"What... what is that monstrous thing?!"

Chu Kuanglan wipes blood from the corner of his mouth, his eyes wide like large copper bells.

"It’s... it’s the people controlled by the Celestial Punishment Association."

Yan Lin explains calmly despite pale complexion: "Seems like it’s devouring them, using their bodies as fuel..."

Jiang Wei hovering in the cold night wind.

Fiery red hair dancing wildly behind her, red eyes locked onto that mass devouring silhouettes, swelling rapidly.

A trace of hesitation shows in her clear eyes.

She isn’t sure if this is part of Qingzi’s plan.

Unsure whether suddenly acting now.

Might disrupt Qingzi’s plan.

Finally, the last figure merges.

That frenzied, squirming hundred-meter red light abruptly contracts inward.

All its light as if forcibly compacted by an invisible giant hand.

The dazzling red light dims and fades away...

A gigantic, suffocating presence slowly reveals its true form.

It is humanoid.

Barely so.

It has a head, limbs, a torso.

But what composes this hundred-meter giant body, is not normal flesh and bones.

It is countless living human bodies.

Those thousand recently devoured Corpse Puppets.

These bodies were not crushed and fused, but are assembled in a most revolting manner.

Skulls densely embedded in the chest, abdomen, even the thighs of the colossal figure.

Empty eye sockets staring lifelessly, mouths contorted in agony.

Tangled arms protruding from shoulder seams, waist sides, even eerily from behind knees.

Fingers spasmodically clutching the cold air.

Broken legs crudely inserted into the statue’s ankles, calves, even hanging grotesquely from the hips like hideous tumors...

All organs retain their original size and shape.

Only forcibly compressed, piled onto this massive skeletal framework.

The skin has a corpse’s peculiar grayish-blue color and dark purple blotches.

Under the Arctic’s icy starlight, emitting a nauseating sheen.

Dark crimson-near-black blood and some sort of foul yellow mucus, like glue, oozes from the countless seams of the fused bodies.

Forms sickening lines, trailing into the black sea below.

No rule, no symmetry, no aesthetic.

Only the most primitive, most desecrating assemblage.

A stench mixed with extreme corpse odor, bloodiness, erupts like an invisible tsunami from the hundred-meter twisted giant figure, engulfing the entire Arctic night sky.

"Ugh—!!!"

On the sea, those with weaker psychological endurance, upon merely glimpsing the giant’s true form for the first time.

Feel their stomachs convulsing violently, bending over in uncontrollable retching.

The piercing cold wind fails to dissipate the intense nausea.

All who witness this scene, whether surviving Transcendents on the sea.

Or countless city residents gazing upward through dome fissures in the City of Injustice.

All fall into a deathlike daze.

Minds frozen by that sheer extremity of evil and desecration.

The Arctic wind spinning dust and debris from the Earth Palace explosion.

Like black snow.

Drifts down in fluttering flakes.

At this moment, a god is formed!
