Sugar Daddy System: Starting With The Goddess Next Door
Chapter 107: I am Rena-chan
Hayami Rina wanted to tell her younger sister that Kitahara Chiki would like her and wouldn’t mind her current marital status at all.
However, worried about scaring her, she held back and stayed quiet.
Now was not the time to say such things; something like this couldn’t be rushed and had to be approached step by step.
Fortunately, with Yumi-chan assisting her now, Rina felt that the pressure on her shoulders had lightened significantly, giving her enough patience to facilitate this matter.
Brothers, don’t doubt why she insisted on doing this—it was truly because her heart was completely filled with Kitahara.
And besides, this was good for everyone!
...
The car glided smoothly through the bustling, traffic-filled streets.
On both sides of the road stood high-rises of various styles. Some featured sleek glass curtain walls that gleamed brightly under the sunlight, while others drew the eye with their unique architecture and gorgeous decorations.
Sitting upright in the car, Hayami Rena stared out the window with wide, beautiful eyes full of curiosity and delight, unable to look away from everything outside.
She had never seen such a bustling, vibrant cityscape before.
The endless stream of people and the colorful variety of store signs blended into a dazzling picture. Was this really Tokyo, so full of energy and charm?
It truly lived up to its reputation!
She felt a surge of desire to integrate herself into this place!
After driving through several streets, the car turned a corner and arrived at a quiet neighborhood.
Here, the atmosphere felt entirely different to Rena-chan.
It was as quiet and lovely as a secluded paradise, completely devoid of the hustle and bustle from earlier.
Shady trees lined both sides of the road, their leaves rustling gently in the breeze. Exquisite houses were arranged in orderly fashion—some surrounded by vibrant flowers, others embraced by lush green yards.
Even the air here seemed infused with tranquility and comfort, making people relax unconsciously.
Is this a neighborhood with houses worth a massive sum of one or two hundred million yen?
Rena looked at the fine homes outside and thought to herself.
It really is nice, practically an ideal place to live. So peaceful and natural, as if far away from the noise and troubles of the world. Yet, just a short walk away lies the vibrant commercial area. Living here is so convenient.
"Rena-chan, we’re here. This is it! Don’t stand on ceremony—just treat it as your own home!"
Having arrived, Rina parked the car, picked up the luggage, and led her sister inside.
Because of the heavy traffic on the way, it was already time to pick up Aya-chan from school.
Rina didn’t have time to help Rena familiarize herself with the place, so after giving a quick, rushed overview, she hurried to leave.
"Rena-chan, take a rest first. You can watch TV in the living room or sleep for a bit in the guest bedroom on the second floor. I’m going to pick up Aya-chan now and will be back shortly. Oh, by the way, Kitahara-kun should be writing in the second-floor study right now, so it’s best not to disturb him. If you want to take a shower, my nightgowns are in the master bedroom closet—you can wear one. I’m running out of time, so I’ll head out first!"
"Mm, go ahead, Sister! Don’t be late picking up Aya-chan," Rena-chan replied with a smile.
Watching her sister leave, she began to tour the house out of curiosity.
The house was spacious and neat, completely flawless. Whether it was the living room, kitchen, or bedrooms, she loved every part of it.
Even the guest bedroom was meticulously decorated and far better than where she used to live.
She couldn’t help but sigh with emotion at how wealthy her sister’s current life was.
After putting her luggage away in the guest bedroom, Rena-chan lay down on the soft bed, feeling too tired to move a muscle.
However, considering the dust from her journey and afraid of dirtying the place, she decided to take a shower first.
She had brought a nightgown with her, but remembering what her sister had said earlier, she pushed open the master bedroom door with a trace of curiosity and anticipation, stepping inside cautiously.
Standing in the spacious and refined master bedroom, she reached out and opened the closet doors.
In an instant, a colorful sight unfolded before her eyes: an assortment of various clothes hung neatly on hangers.
Rena’s eyes widened, and she couldn’t help but gasp in amazement: "Sugoi! So many spicy and beautiful clothes!"
The closet was filled with all sorts of sexy and charming nightgowns, camisoles, and shorts, each exuding a unique charm and temptation.
The designs were bold and innovative, with bright and striking colors that made one involuntarily imagine how amorous someone would look wearing them.
Looking at the wardrobe full of distinct styles, she thought to herself: Could Sister be this passionate, bold, and untamed at home? It’s really hard to imagine...
...
The master bedroom had its own bathroom. Thinking that Kitahara-kun was working in the study next door and probably wouldn’t come out by coincidence anytime soon, Rena picked out a relatively conservative nightgown of her sister’s and went in to shower.
At this moment, Kitahara Chiki was indeed immersed in writing and unable to extricate himself. He was about to finish a major plot point, writing with deep concentration.
This book, Tokyo Love Story, was still only at the beginning with not many words written yet. Because various matters kept delaying him previously, his progress had been quite slow.
The plot in the book was just unfolding, and the male and female leads hadn’t separated yet!
The major plot point he was currently writing was precisely their breakup scene.
Under the pressure of reality, a pair of deeply in love young adults had no choice but to compromise. They stayed cooped up in their rented room for three full days without stepping outside.
Finally, when the sunlight of the third day spilled into the room through the window, they left the bed and opened the door that had been tightly shut for so long.
At that moment, the sunlight was somewhat dazzling, making them narrow their eyes involuntarily. Stepping onto the streets outside once again, they found that they had already become like strangers to each other. Those once-sweet memories now felt so distant and blurred.
They brushed past each other without looking back—nor did they dare to. They were terrified of seeing the sadness and helplessness in each other’s eyes, and even more terrified that they wouldn’t be able to stop themselves from falling back into that hopeless love.
Just like that, under the heavy pressure of reality, the young couple who had once loved each other deeply ultimately became mere passersby in each other’s lives...
Finally, Kitahara put down his pen, calling it a day after completing this passage.
Leaning over his desk for several hours straight left him truly exhausted, and he needed a rest.
He estimated he had written over ten thousand words today, pushing the progress forward rapidly, and his sense of achievement was practically maxed out.
Standing up and walking out of the study, Kitahara wanted to see if his dear Rena-chan had arrived.
He had been thinking about her for so long without even meeting her once, so he was looking forward to it.
After taking a loop downstairs, he saw no one. He called out twice, but received no response. Kitahara assumed she hadn’t arrived yet, so he returned to the second floor, planning to take a shower first to relax his body.
However, when he reached the master bedroom, he heard noises coming from the bathroom.
"Huh? It’s already this time... could Rina-nee still haven’t left yet?"
