Seeing the care and affection for her brimming in Kitahara Chiki’s eyes, Matsuda Yumi felt very pleased and happy. A warm sensation spread through her chest, as if she had finally found someone who truly cared about her. She spoke up:

"Actually, it’s nothing, senpai. Even though my mother left me early, my father has always doted on me. I don’t feel like I’m missing anything compared to others!

It’s you, senpai — your fate has been much more ill-starred. Living alone for so many years must have been very hard, hasn’t it?"

Her voice carried genuine concern, and her eyes softened as she looked at him, waiting for his answer.

"Me? I’m doing alright too. In my daily life now, I have a neighbor lady who helps take care of things. I just focus on writing and don’t need to worry about anything else. Life has been fairly smooth."

Kitahara spoke casually, though there was a faint trace of something unreadable in his tone.

"A neighbor lady...?" Matsuda Yumi questioned, tilting her head slightly, a hint of curiosity flickering in her gaze.

"Mm, a widow who lost her husband, raising a child on her own. Life is very hard for her. I pay her some money, and she takes care of my daily life. We’re... helping each other out, I suppose."

Kitahara explained it simply, without elaborating too much, as though it were nothing worth making a fuss over.

"I see, so that’s how it is. Senpai is quite compassionate! You must have felt sorry for them and deliberately helped them out that way."

Matsuda Yumi didn’t overthink it. Instead, she felt that Kitahara was a person full of love and sympathy — someone with a gentle heart beneath his quiet exterior. After a brief pause, a faint blush rose on her face:

"Senpai, once we live together in the future, I’ll be the one to take care of your daily life!"

She said it with such earnestness, her eyes shining with anticipation, as though she had already pictured the life they would share.

Kitahara nodded in agreement.

In his heart, though, he was thinking that actually, both of them together would be fine too... A slight smile tugged at the corner of his mouth, hidden from her view.

...

After finishing their meal, the two walked out of the restaurant and strolled along the bustling street, taking in the flourishing night scenery. The cool evening breeze brushed past them, carrying the faint scent of cherry blossoms and street food from nearby stalls.

As for the bill earlier, Kitahara had naturally paid it all himself, not letting Matsuda Yumi split it. Matsuda Yumi was delighted about this, her smile brightening as she walked beside him.

"Senpai is quite generous, so gentlemanly. He’s really a good person to date!"

She proactively took Kitahara Chiki’s hand and strolled with him along the street. Her fingers were soft and warm, and she held on with a light but firm grip, as though she had no intention of letting go.

Compared to Chiyoda Ward, the Shinjuku area was livelier, more crowded, and had a richer commercial atmosphere. The streets were bustling and extraordinarily lively. Colorful neon lights flickered with mesmerizing brilliance, illuminating the entire district. Signs in Japanese and English flashed in every direction, and the sounds of laughter, chatter, and music blended into a vibrant symphony of the night.

Among the passersby, young people made up the majority, filling the streets and alleys with vitality and energy. Couples walked hand in hand, groups of friends laughed together, and street performers drew small crowds with their acts.

The young and handsome Kitahara and the lovely Matsuda Yumi made an attractive couple amid the lively streets. More than a few passersby turned their heads to glance at them, and Yumi seemed to notice, drawing a little closer to him with a satisfied smile.

The pachinko parlor was doing booming business, and the two went in to play for a while too. The noise inside was deafening, with bells and whistles ringing from every machine, and the air was thick with the smell of smoke and excitement. At an open-air karaoke, Matsuda Yumi volunteered to go up and sing a song.

Though her singing was, to put it mildly, hard to describe, her courage was commendable. Kitahara didn’t have the guts to go up and embarrass himself.

Mainly, Yumi-chan’s voice was pleasant. Even though she sang off-key, it was still barely listenable — and on top of that, she was delicate and beautiful. People could be forgiving toward a girl like that. The small crowd even clapped politely when she finished, and she bowed dramatically, laughing as she returned to his side.

Kitahara was a different story. If he went up, he would definitely draw mockery from the people around him. Mm, he still wanted to save some face!

Finally, the two walked into a couples’ cinema as planned to end the date.

This was a newly opened cinema with excellent decor, full of design sense, and equipped with advanced projection equipment. The lobby was dimly lit with warm ambient lighting, and the walls were decorated with romantic film posters and soft drapes.

Of course, since it was called a "couples’ cinema," the well-designed private environment and comfortable seating were what had been arranged with the most care here, and what couples flocked to most. Each private booth was separated by curtains or partitions, giving couples their own intimate space away from prying eyes.

The seats here used soft materials and had been carefully designed to perfectly fit the curves of the human body, making people feel relaxed and at ease. Whether sitting together in an embrace or leaning against each other, couples could enjoy an unparalleled movie-watching experience here.

Kitahara and Matsuda Yumi picked a newly released film, but by the time it finished, he still didn’t know what it had been about. His attention had all gone to exploring the young Matsuda Yumi.

He could see her large breasts rising and falling with each heavy breath. Her eyes reflected the screen’s glow, the soft rise and fall of her breathing, the faint scent of her perfume in the close space between them.

After watching for a while, Kitahara finally stopped making her wait. One hand slipped deep beneath her skirt while the other squeezed and kneaded her breast, twisting and pressing without mercy.

His mouth found hers, hot and demanding, his tongue pushing past her parted lips to tangle with hers. She tasted faintly of beer and something sweeter beneath it. He kissed her deeply, swallowing the small, helpless sounds rising in her throat.

Matsuda Yumi trembled, her face flushed red as she whispered against his lips, "Senpai, this is my first time... please be gentle..."

"Of course, today I will take care of your body!" Kitahara reached out and touched her lips, they were soft and slightly warm, parting faintly under his fingertips. He traced the swollen curve of her mouth, still wet from his kiss, then tilted her chin up and kissed her again, drawing out every shiver until she melted against him. If she wanted to give herself to him, then of course he couldn’t refuse!
