Chapter 78: Overnight at a luxury hotel with Yumi

Senso-ji Temple is one of the city’s most famous historical landmarks. As soon as they approached the entrance, Yumi’s attention was drawn to the enormous red lantern hanging beneath Kaminarimon, the temple’s iconic Thunder Gate. She immediately took out her phone and began taking pictures, occasionally asking Kitahara to stand beside her so they could capture a few photographs together.

"Senpai, come over here! The lighting is perfect!"

Hearing her cheerful call, Kitahara walked over and stood beside her. Yumi raised her phone, adjusted the angle, and smiled brightly as she took several pictures. She examined the results with satisfaction before showing them to him, clearly pleased with how they had turned out.

"Look at this one! We look really good together, don’t we?"

Kitahara glanced at the screen and nodded. "Not bad. You seem to have a talent for taking pictures."

"Of course I do! I’ve been practicing for ages." Yumi lifted her chin proudly, looking rather pleased with herself. "Besides, if I’m going to take pictures with someone as handsome as you, I have to make sure they turn out well."

Her straightforward compliment made Kitahara laugh. He had already grown accustomed to Yumi’s lively personality, but her unreserved way of expressing herself still amused him from time to time.

The two continued through the temple grounds, passing beneath the great gate and following the crowded approach toward the main hall. Along the way, they encountered numerous tourists, small souvenir shops, and stalls selling traditional Japanese snacks. The atmosphere was lively, with visitors chatting, taking photographs, and admiring the historic buildings surrounding them.

Yumi was particularly interested in the food stalls. Whenever she spotted something that looked appealing, she would slow down and glance at it, sometimes turning toward Kitahara with an expectant expression. Before long, they had purchased several snacks to share as they walked around.

"Senpai, try this one! It’s delicious!"

Yumi held out a freshly purchased snack, her eyes bright with anticipation. Kitahara accepted it and took a bite, finding its taste quite satisfying.

"You’re right. It’s pretty good."

"See? I told you!" Yumi smiled triumphantly, apparently delighted that he agreed with her judgment. She took another bite of her own portion before looking around for something else to try.

Watching her enjoy herself so freely, Kitahara couldn’t help feeling that the outing had been worth the effort. Yumi was easy to please when she was in a good mood, and her enthusiasm made even an ordinary stroll through a crowded tourist attraction feel more enjoyable. Rather than rushing from one landmark to another, they took their time exploring the temple grounds, browsing the shops, and stopping whenever something caught their attention.

Eventually, they reached an area where they could admire the Five-Story Pagoda. The elegant structure rose above the surrounding buildings, its traditional architecture standing out against the modern city beyond the temple grounds. Yumi gazed at it for a moment before asking Kitahara to take another picture of her.

This time, she posed beside the pagoda, adjusting her expression several times until she was satisfied with the result. She then asked Kitahara to join her for another photograph, insisting that they needed at least one picture together at every major attraction they visited.

Kitahara patiently accommodated her requests. After all, he had brought her here to enjoy herself, and there was no particular reason to hurry. By the time they finished sightseeing, Yumi had accumulated a considerable number of photographs and seemed thoroughly satisfied with their visit.

As the afternoon gradually gave way to evening, Kitahara suggested that they find somewhere comfortable to rest. They had spent a long time walking around, and Yumi had begun showing signs of fatigue despite her earlier enthusiasm.

"Let’s check into a hotel nearby," he suggested. "We can rest for a while before deciding what to do next."

Kitahara had already considered several options, he eventually settled on the Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International, a luxurious hotel conveniently located near the temple. Its reputation and comfortable facilities made it an appealing choice, especially since he wanted Yumi to have a memorable experience.

When they entered the hotel, Yumi immediately noticed the elegant interior. The lobby was tastefully decorated, and the atmosphere was considerably more refined than that of an ordinary budget hotel. She followed Kitahara toward the reception desk, occasionally glancing around with undisguised curiosity.

After completing the necessary arrangements, Kitahara booked a room on the uppermost floor. The price was approximately 100,000 yen for one night, a sum that made Yumi’s eyes widen when she learned about it.

"Wait, senpai! One hundred thousand yen for a single night?" she whispered, looking at him in disbelief. "Isn’t that a little too expensive?"

Kitahara merely smiled. "It’s fine. I can afford it."

"But we could find somewhere cheaper. We’re only staying for one night, after all."

"I know, but I don’t want you to have to worry about things like that today." He looked at her calmly. "We’re already here, so we might as well enjoy ourselves. Besides, I want you to have the best experience possible."

Yumi stared at him for a moment, apparently unsure how to respond. She understood that Kitahara was financially comfortable, but hearing him spend such a large amount on their accommodation still felt extravagant. She had expected a pleasant outing, perhaps followed by a nice dinner, but she hadn’t imagined that he would choose such an expensive room without hesitation.

Nevertheless, she eventually gave him a small, grateful smile.

"Thank you, senpai. I’ll make sure to enjoy it."

With the arrangements completed, the two took the elevator to their floor. When Kitahara opened the door to their room, Yumi stepped inside and immediately stopped to look around.

The room was spacious and elegantly furnished, with a large bed positioned neatly in the center. Soft carpeting covered the floor, while the carefully arranged furniture and tasteful decorations gave the interior a comfortable, luxurious atmosphere. The most impressive feature, however, was the enormous window stretching across one side of the room.

Yumi walked toward it, her eyes widening as she looked out over the city. From their elevated position, they could see the surrounding buildings and the distant streets of Tokyo. The setting sun cast an orange-red glow across the skyline, painting the horizon in warm colors and giving the entire city a strangely peaceful appearance.

"Wow..." she murmured, momentarily forgetting what she had intended to say.

Kitahara watched her reaction with a faint smile. "Do you like it?"

Yumi turned toward him, her face bright with genuine excitement.

"Of course I do! The view is amazing!"

She returned her attention to the window, admiring the sunset as the last golden light spread across the city. For a while, neither of them felt any need to speak. After a busy day exploring Senso-ji Temple and its surroundings, simply standing there and enjoying the view felt like a pleasant reward.

Looking at Yumi’s delighted expression, Kitahara felt satisfied with his decision. He approached her from behind, both hands gripping Matsuda Yumi’s massive breasts and slowly kneading it, then leaned close to her ear and said, "The scenery today is beautiful... but you’re even more beautiful than it by far..."
