Chapter 68: Chapter 68: The Judgment Alliance Heir Executed in Public! Every Major Faction Withdraws Overnight... No, Immediately!

John didn’t even spare Augustus a glance.

He simply turned his head and calmly asked Raistlin,

"Have you finished scouting the surrounding terrain?"

The few minutes Raistlin had disappeared earlier had been spent surveying the area.

Raistlin nodded, his gaze slowly sweeping across the various parts of the camp before he replied in a calm voice.

"Yes, my Lord. Everything has been thoroughly investigated."

"I’ve located three supply points, two altars, and the positions of several other minor lords belonging to the Judgment Alliance."

He paused briefly before giving his honest assessment.

"Taking them all down won’t be difficult."

John nodded.

He raised his hand and casually waved it through the air.

"Buzz—"

One black spatial rift after another tore open behind him.

Undead Dragon Knights, Frost Mages, Fire Mages, Swordsmen...

Rank upon rank of undead units silently emerged from the rifts, forming orderly battle formations that stretched into an endless sea of darkness around him.

Thousands of troops.

John’s gaze swept across the army, his voice remaining so calm that it betrayed not the slightest emotion.

"Then I’ll leave these to you."

He looked at Raistlin, then glanced at Ophelia, who had already transformed into her human form and was standing behind him.

"Work with Ophelia. Surround everyone from the Judgment Alliance and wipe them out."

"Leave no survivors."

"Understood."

Raistlin acknowledged the order. His hunched figure flickered, and he vanished into thin air once again.

Ophelia remained expressionless. Purple Dragonflame suddenly blazed around her entire body as she gently gestured toward the front of the army.

"Kill!"

In the next instant, thousands of units received their orders and surged forward like a raging tide.

The roars of dragons, the thunderous explosions of spells, the howling blasts of Dragonflame, the dull sounds of blades tearing through flesh, and the successive screams of Judgment Alliance players soon erupted simultaneously throughout every corner of the camp.

Yet, strangely enough, the very center of the battlefield remained eerily quiet.

John finally lowered his head and looked at Augustus, who was barely clinging to life with only a sliver of HP remaining.

He slowly crouched down.

For the first time, the figure Augustus had barely managed to see earlier became crystal clear before his fading eyes.

Illuminated by the flames, a remarkably young face appeared before him.

Delicate, fair-skinned, with clean and refined features. His eyes and brows were almost gentle, carrying an androgynous beauty that made it difficult to distinguish his gender at first glance.

So this was Tyrant?

Why was he so young?

Augustus opened his mouth, trying to say something.

But the scorching heat from the explosion had already burned his throat.

Warm streams of blood continued flowing from the corners of his mouth, choking off every word he tried to utter.

A fair hand gently rose and rested in front of his lips.

"Shh."

John looked at him, his voice soft and gentle, almost as if he were comforting a frightened child.

"Take a deep breath. It’s perfectly normal that you can’t speak right now."

He could clearly see the hatred, unwillingness, and confusion in the eyes of this Judgment Alliance Heir.

But John didn’t care.

"Perhaps even now, you still don’t understand why I’ve been targeting your Judgment Alliance so relentlessly."

"But that doesn’t matter anymore."

John leaned closer, looking directly into his eyes as he spoke, one word at a time.

"Right now, there’s only one message I need you to deliver to the elders of your family."

"Tell them..."

His voice wasn’t loud, yet every word reached Augustus’s ears with absolute clarity.

"I am Tyrant."

"And today, I am declaring all-out war on the Judgment Alliance."

Augustus’s eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at John.

He couldn’t understand where this man got the confidence to make such a declaration.

But John had already stood up, no longer paying him any attention.

He casually reached into his Legion Space and pulled out a Level 1 Legion Equipment item [Dagger], weighing it lightly in his hand.

The cold dagger was the last thing Augustus saw.

Holding the blade, John gazed past the burning camp toward a distant point on the horizon. At that moment, his expression became exceptionally gentle.

"Such a magnificent spectacle..."

"What a shame. I really wish Sylvie could have been here to see it."

He murmured softly.

The moment his words fell—

Clang!

[You have discarded Legion Equipment: Dagger]

Augustus’s character instantly vanished.

...

The Judgment Alliance’s camp had now become a slaughterhouse.

Streams of purple Dragonflame erupted one after another.

Mysterious ice and blazing fire intertwined, forming an impenetrable web of death.

Undead Dragon Knights circled overhead, and wherever they passed, purple torrents of Dragonflame poured down like waterfalls.

From the beginning of the battle until now, the Judgment Alliance hadn’t managed to put up even a single meaningful resistance.

The moment Augustus died, the Judgment Alliance players were completely terrified.

Without anyone to command them, they could only scatter in every direction throughout their own camp, where they were systematically divided, surrounded, and slaughtered.

Standing atop a scorched-earth hill that had been blasted upward by lightning and explosions, John casually opened the loot panel.

[Obtained: Gold Coins ×721,330...]

[Obtained: Iron Ore ×642,800...]

[Obtained: Wood ×598,400...]

[Obtained: Five-Star Unit Training License ×1...]

[Obtained: Lord EXP ×...]

One string of numbers after another continuously flashed across the screen, piling up at an astonishing rate.

John watched for a while before losing interest.

He simply let the numbers keep accumulating on their own.

Who knew how much time had passed?

Eventually, even the final screams disappeared.

Looking down from the elevated ground, he could see collapsed tents, shattered altars, and burning wreckage scattered everywhere.

The enormous Judgment Alliance camp...

Not a single person had escaped.

A long while later.

At the elven camp to the east, the female elf stared at the scorched battlefield in the distance.

The playful smile that had always lingered on her face had completely disappeared.

She remained silent for a long time before finally exhaling and getting to her feet.

"All troops, listen up."

Her voice was soft, yet not a single person dared to question her.

"Pack up."

"Abandon the Hero’s Tomb."

"We’re leaving."

"Commander?"

The player standing beside her was stunned.

"But that’s an SSS-grade Hero’s Tomb! Are we really going to just..."

"Then what would you have us do? Stay here and wait for Tyrant to finish up and wipe us out as well?"

The female elf took one last look at the figure standing atop the distant hill, her expression complicated.

"A man who eliminated the entire Judgment Alliance before the battle had even begun..."

"Other than him, who do you think is still qualified to claim this Hero’s Tomb?"

Almost at the same moment.

At the camp to the west, the black-robed mage’s face turned deathly pale. He waved his hand heavily.

"Withdraw!"

The forces to the south had already begun quietly changing their direction at some point.

Even the unaffiliated players stationed around the outskirts finally snapped out of their daze.

Nobody was talking about picking up the leftovers anymore.

They gathered whatever they could and quickly fled.

Why wouldn’t they?

Did they really want to stay here and let some powerful player wipe them out with a casual wave of his hand?

They certainly didn’t have the equipment Augustus had.

And so, just moments earlier, the ancient lake had been packed with people.

Yet within only a few minutes, it had emptied at an almost unbelievable speed.

John stood atop the scorched hill, his gaze falling on the countdown displayed on the map.

[Time remaining until the SSS-grade Hero’s Tomb appears: 00:00:47]
