"!!!" Luna widened her eyes. She was surprised that Noelle managed to do it.
Still, Asura was much stronger than her since he had become an apex class alien.
He immediately launched another attack on Noelle.
Luna immediately leaped toward her, using the magic circle to contain Asura’s attack. "Took you long enough."
"Sorry for making you wait. Let’s kill this guy." Noelle nodded.
"Very well," Luna agreed.
Noelle immediately jumped toward Asura. She remembered everything she had upgraded in this battle.
Her killing intent had probably been polished enough to become her divinity. That was why she thought of a proper name for it.
Sun and Moon Killing Intent. Her rage would be blazing like the sun, but her sorrow would be cool like the moon. As a result, her killing intent would be explosive but extremely stable.
"Demonic Sword," Noelle muttered. "Moon Cleaving Sword."
Noelle still remembered how her grandfather used to swing his blade. Even that Zeroth Sword was still stuck in her mind.
But after acquiring the Sun and Moon Killing Intent, Noelle could finally say goodbye to her grandfather.
The moment she swung her blade, it felt like the world was split into two.
Asura unleashed his own strike, but his sword strike looked like it had been cut. The energy between them clashed and burst.
Unfortunately for Noelle, the two sword strikes ended up neutralizing each other.
"..." Noelle remained calm as though she had expected this result. If she had used this attack against alpha class aliens, she probably would have killed at least one of them and injured the others.
The sheer amount of power unleashed from that strike had actually surpassed Sullivan’s Zeroth Sword.
"!!!" Luna couldn’t help but notice what happened far above them. The cloud was actually split. It was definitely from the clash, but she knew a portion of Noelle’s power was deflected by Asura’s attack.
That portion of power was more than enough to split the sky.
"Heh." Thanatos, who was fighting on the other side of the city, couldn’t help but smirk. "It looks like my summoner has found her divinity. Just need a bit more to forge her divine body."
Luna came from below. "Ex-Formation, Eternal Tower."
A massive magic circle formed and shot out a pillar of light into the sky.
Noelle had leaped back as if knowing Luna’s attack would come.
Asura released everything he had and suddenly cleaved the pillar of light.
"!!!" Luna was startled. She had poured more than enough power to at least injure it, but Asura actually cut her power so easily.
She then noticed what had happened. The energy from the city was flowing more and more into his body.
As a result, his body became much more brittle, but the amount of energy it possessed was at least three times that of the original.
Noelle pointed her blade at Asura as the black flame appeared again on her sword.
Asura unleashed the same sword strike but with three times the energy.
Noelle swung her blade diagonally. "Demonic Sword, Blazing Star."
Her fiery sword tried to burn this sword strike, but her killing intent couldn’t overcome the gap between the energies anymore.
"Kh!" The sword strike destroyed Noelle’s ability and continued toward her. Noelle struck this attack with her sword directly while gritting her teeth.
She gripped the sword so hard that her palms began to bleed. Blood leaked from the corner of her lips.
"NOOO!" Noelle shouted as her eyes turned bloodshot. "Sink even deeper!"
Noelle’s rage filled her body even more. This was the power she needed to stop this attack.
"Haaaa!" Noelle ultimately split the sword strike, but it took her too much. The energy in her body became a mess. If she hadn’t trained her mind all this time, she would have been controlled by that rage.
Fortunately, Luna had also kept Asura at bay. He could have used that momentum to strike her down earlier.
"Keep going!" Luna shouted to Noelle while forming her magic circle.
Noelle nodded and gathered her power again. Even though Asura had gotten stronger, that energy was breaking his body.
That was why they still had a chance. If they lasted long enough, they might be able to defeat him.
However, before Noelle could launch another attack, a burst of energy shook the entire city.
"!!!" Everyone, especially the gods, was startled.
"This familiar power..." Garuda narrowed his eyes.
This burst of energy was simply too overwhelming. It actually overpowered all kinds of energy in this city.
Asura found his own killing intent being suppressed and dispersed.
The energy from the domain waned greatly.
"Kh..." Pangu and a few others who maintained the domain had a hard time. They noticed many distorted spots. If they weren’t this powerful, the domain would have shattered.
Of course, the alien domain that utilized this city as its foundation was greatly shaken.
The amount of energy used to boost the mummies had started to dissipate.
Gaia muttered, "What kind of power is this?"
Nyx narrowed her eyes. "The kind of power that overwhelms everything. An absolute force that dominates everything..."
Xolotl narrowed his eyes. "And this kind of power... can only be used by a true god. Don’t tell me..."
The energy erupted once more.
Cracks suddenly appeared all over the monochrome world that Pangu created.
"Khh..." Pangu gritted his teeth. "I’m really going to smack whoever the bastard that did this with my axe after this."
"And my hammer!" Vishwakarma nodded in agreement.
Garuda could only think of one person with this kind of power. He never thought that this familiar would be the first one to evolve among them.
He realized that the group that entered the ziggurat might have found something that could help with the evolution.
"Aoooo!"
A loud howl echoed across the city.
Xolotl couldn’t help but smirk. "All right. I know who the culprit is. He’s dead when this is over."
Nidhogg and the others were quite jealous because they knew what had just happened.
A true god had been born.
