"If we don’t make a divine body or a true vessel, then..." Iris sighed. "I’m afraid it will be a temporary rebirth. Your body will break down. We will be wasting material, which is basically my creation power."

"Wait. So, you’re saying that you can already make a temporary body for us?" Tiamat looked surprised.

"That’s right. I don’t know what’s the deal between you and my master, but if you have his permission, I don’t mind making a body for you and your husband. It’s just temporary for now, but the idea is possible."

"That’s true. The theory sounds plausible." Tiamat nodded with a serious expression. "Now that I think about it, the materials from the familiar can actually be used for the summoning rituals, right?"

"What are you trying to say?" Iris frowned.

"I’m saying that can we use our body to help somehow? It’s something that can be used in the ritual, so..."

"Actually, that’s a misconception." Loki raised his finger. "It’s amusing to see a god like you trying to use the nonexistent body to do that, but it’s not possible. The thing you’re using in the summoning ritual is not your own body. Rather, your soul and karma. That records everything about you, so you can trick the summoning system.

"However, if you want a true rebirth, you can’t use your nonexistent body. This is the reason why his blood is so effective." Loki pointed at Nathan. "His blood has the physical body because the original Nathan has done so much for him."

Nathan nodded in understanding. It was the original Nathan who did all the work. The karma, the soul, and even the physical blood were all original Nathan.

The only thing that Nathan brought into this world was his knowledge of Earth. His soul was getting influenced by the body of the original Nathan because that person had used the Soul Contract to transfer everything from the soul to the body so that when a new soul arrived, everything recorded in the original Nathan’s soul would assimilate with the current Nathan.

So, his familiars couldn’t use their bodies because they were just bodies made of summoning fragments. Their true body was just a summoning crystal, which they intended to transmute for the completion of the body.

Iris continued, "You heard him. Basically, I’ll have to craft everything from scratch and probably nurture your body until it becomes a divine body. For now, I want to inspect the body of a true god to see the difference. After all, even if I inspect any of you, it won’t exactly be useful."

Nathan waved down to Tiamat, gesturing for her to calm down. "I know we have a promise. If you really want, I can try to make the temporary rebirth possible so that you and your husband can spend some time together."

Abzu was the one answering. "There’s no need for that, Summoner. We appreciate that. Rather than wasting your energy like that, just think of it as an opportunity. If you happen to need us for an errand, you can grant us both temporary bodies to handle that errand. That’s killing two birds with one stone."

"I can offer an option that will kill three dragons with one stone." Loki smiled.

However, both Tiamat and Abzu just glared at him. Loki looked away. "I will keep quiet."

Nathan asked, "In that case, you do what you want, Iris. Is that all right, Anubis?"

"Yes. As long as you don’t harm the body, I don’t exactly mind. In fact, you can actually use something else..." Anubis gave another solution.

He flew away for a few minutes before bringing back a spear. "This."

The golden spear was exuding a ferocious energy. With just one glance, Nathan knew that this was the spear that Erlang Shen wielded when he was still alive.

"His spear?" Nathan narrowed his eyes.

"There are artifacts that make your strength grow stronger. I’m sure you know about them." Loki smirked.

"Yeah, yeah. I know about divine artifacts. There are many examples around you, such as Mjolnir, Gungnir, and so on. I just don’t know the principle behind divine artifacts to be honest. I don’t really use weapons, so..." Nathan crossed his arms. "Did Thor become the strongest because of an artifact?"

Iris’s familiar, Vishvakarma, answered, "The principle of a divine artifact is simple. They’re not tools that will make you stronger. They’re tools that have a specific function. Most divine artifacts are tools that have been imbued with their master’s power, so when they use these divine artifacts, they will be able to wield their power more efficiently.

"So, if one god has 100% of his power and releases 10% of his power at a time, a divine artifact doesn’t make him have 120% of his original power. Instead, it will help him release 20% of his power. That’s why it makes him look stronger, but not exactly stronger.

"There are other divine artifacts. For example, Anubis’s gourd is used to preserve the power of nectar. There are other divine artifacts that can seal something.

"The power doesn’t exactly match the owner’s power, but if it’s not compatible for you, then it’s just something useless."

Nathan nodded in understanding. "In that case, this spear should be in the first category."

"Yes."

"Can we utilize its power in any way? I don’t think anyone is using a spear here, but..." Nathan turned to Anubis.

"If you want to use the divine artifact, it is fine. All I care about is sending the soul and body to the underworld, not their possessions in the world." Anubis shook his head, reassuring Nathan.

"I see. So..." Nathan looked at Luna.

"It might be a good thing. I can study it and make divine artifacts in the future. No, wait..." Luna gasped, thinking about something even more ridiculous. "This realm is sealed by a formation using space objects as its foundation. What if I use divine artifacts to create a formation?"

"I do you one better, young lady." Loki grinned. "Refine the planet, the asteroid, and even the sun to become your personal divine artifact. In fact, from the memory of this robot here, Machina, was it? How about refining the sun and this sphere that absorbs the energy from the sun into an artifact that will power her up?"
