Chapter 1514: Chapter 1504: Admiration

The voice of the boss came from over there, sounding worn out. The boss casually said, "Oh! That? Mu Yu gave you a search warrant directly, didn’t she?" His words had a touch of leisure.

"There’s no time!" Jiang Cheng concisely said.

Over there, as if hearing Jiang Cheng’s urgency, they directly responded with a word: "Approval." The moment the boss finished speaking, Jiang Cheng hung up, leaving the boss smiling helplessly at the phone.

If it weren’t for multiple parties insisting the military intervene, the boss wouldn’t have imposed this condition on Jiang Cheng, sending his people to intercept Mo Xiao. What a joke.

Sending Jiang Cheng was mainly to appease the people, but also to take the opportunity to gauge Jiang Cheng’s capabilities. If this person really proved to be formidable, he’d definitely recruit him into his team.

The scientist businessman can catch Mo Xiao! How impressive must this businessman be! Meanwhile, Jiang Cheng immediately started hacking the public network in the hotel lobby using his portable laptop, swiftly retrieving nearby surveillance footage.

Following the footage, Jiang Cheng identified the direction Ou Shu was taken. "That’s the abandoned weapons factory!" Mu Yu exclaimed, staring at Jiang Cheng’s laptop.

"Weapons factory?" Jiang Cheng asked, puzzled. "Yes, in the suburbs, abandoned for a long time. The area has always been chaotic," Mu Yu said, feeling troubled.

But Jiang Cheng closed the laptop and rushed out, grabbing a random motorcycle and speeding to the factory.

"Warning: Consider stopping to assess the interior conditions of the building ahead," the system suddenly advised. Jiang Cheng jumped off the motorcycle, leaving it amidst two cars.

The slightly worn-out motorcycle blended seamlessly there. Jiang Cheng crouched in the bushes, pulling out his laptop to browse the network above the weapons factory, accidentally discovering its abandoned surveillance system.

Jiang Cheng directly used his invented network checker to infiltrate the factory’s surveillance system, sketching out an internal image based on the surveillance area.

"With so many people ahead, they must be expecting me to barge in for a showdown, right?" Jiang Cheng muttered, analyzing data within the factory.

Looking at the surveillance details, he could discern every person’s move and every material inside. Suddenly, Jiang Cheng got noticeably excited, as if he’d discovered something.

Seeing the successful breach notification, he felt a sense of pride. Just then, Mu Yu’s car rushed from behind.

Jiang Cheng glanced at teammates following behind, and sent a text message. "Dingdong!" Mu Yu, observing the factory’s situation, suddenly received a message: "Stop, don’t stir the hornet’s nest."

Mu Yu checked the phone and waved. The teammates halted. Mu Yu searched for traces of Jiang Cheng but surprisingly found none.

Jiang Cheng watched Mu Yu looking for him, sent a location coordinate, and Mu Yu sneakily crawled over, watching Jiang Cheng analyze the factory’s scenario, astonished.

"I’ll use the 860 mini-explosive to blast this spot open. Then we’ll coordinate with Mole inside to disable the rear teams. You attack upfront, and we’ll surround them from behind, catching them all," Jiang Cheng calmly analyzed, sweat continually dripping down his forehead. It’s impossible not to be tense, but maintaining composure amid stress is truly remarkable.

"Alright, the plan is seamless," Mu Yu said excitedly, impressed by Jiang Cheng’s analysis. This plan could ensure Mole’s safety while also capturing the robbers.

"Two birds with one stone."

"Alert! Bombs are buried underground at the factory, be careful!" Bingbing’s cold voice echoed in Jiang Cheng’s mind, instantly chilling his heart.

Confirm again, is there a bomb buried beneath the factory!" Jiang Cheng repeated inwardly. Everything was interconnected; an error in any link could derail everything.

"Confirmed," the system’s cold voice left Jiang Cheng feeling dizzy. Looking at the factory ahead, a trace of anxiety rose within him.

"Team Two, Team Two! Ambush from the left, prepare to encircle on my command. Team Four, you’re upfront drawing attention; remember, do not engage directly. Just attract their attention," Mu Yu detailed instructions over the walkie-talkie, seriousness evident in his eyes. Jiang Cheng grabbed Mu Yu, unwillingly saying: "Cancel the plan, tell them to stand still."

"What?" Mu Yu asked, surprised, eyes filled with disbelief. But seeing Jiang Cheng’s sweat droplets, he reluctantly complied.

"Follow my orders, everyone remain in place. Everyone remain in place," Mu Yu announced over the walkie-talkie, then weakly inquired about Jiang Cheng’s reasoning.

"Bombs are underneath the factory!" Jiang Cheng said, pointing at the analysis diagram on the computer while his fingers operated swiftly.

Data bounded rapidly across the screen, slightly dizzying Mu Yu. Mu Yu stared at Jiang Cheng and whispered: "How much?"

Their voice carried a hint of hoarseness, presumably due to worry over rescuing Mole. Jiang Cheng gratefully glanced at Mu Yu.

After all, Mole was Jiang Cheng’s little underling, previously beaten by him. Yet, they bore no grudge. Jiang Cheng found himself admiring Mu Yu.

"Why are you looking at me like that? I’m asking how much explosives are there?" Mu Yu asked helplessly, glancing away from Jiang Cheng. Jiang Cheng stared at the data on the computer.

Then quickly said: "A lot—enough to blow up the entire factory. If the bomb detonates, anyone caught inside within 30 seconds will be doomed," Jiang Cheng said, giving Mu Yu a glance.

Then, he calmly added: "Thank you!"

Mu Yu heard this, curious about Jiang Cheng’s comment, asked: "Thanks for what? For Mole? Mole isn’t just your person, he’s also my brother. Besides, I’m still waiting for him to intercept Mo Xiao!"

Mu Yu said, eyes looking elsewhere, Jiang Cheng saw Mu Yu’s subtle embarrassment and turned back amusedly.

"You think Mole inside won’t come to harm, right?" Mu Yu asked, looking at the factory hesitantly.

"No, they shouldn’t dare to harm Mole. Did you forget? Mole was their boss earlier," Jiang Cheng reassured.

Mu Yu gazed blankly at Jiang Cheng twice, sighed and said: "You don’t understand Mo Xiao; he’ll definitely give the kill order for heads."

The statement unsettled Jiang Cheng a bit.

"Let’s use this to negotiate for now," Jiang Cheng said, revealing a small sphere. Mu Yu looked at the silver-white sphere and asked: "What’s this?" reaching to grab the sphere, but it flew away. "My developed mini-detector."

Saying so, Jiang Cheng pressed a key on the computer, and the sphere shot toward the factory’s direction.

"Is it flying according to your control path or autonomously?" Mu Yu watched the flying sphere, astonished once more.

Jiang Cheng is a tech scientist, he knew, but didn’t expect him to have developed so many useful things.

Mu Yu eyed Jiang Cheng with a touch of admiration. In this tech-driven world, someone like Jiang Cheng is revered no matter where they go, amazed he’d come to this place.
