Chapter 410 - 263: Too Many Girls Like Me
Chapter 410: Chapter 263: Too Many Girls Like Me
He sat down.
Lin Chu casually glanced her way and caught an eyeful of alluring, pale skin. The contrast was striking—a slender frame with surprisingly full curves.
Shaking his head with a small smile, Lin Chu lit a cigarette.
A top streamer with tens of millions of fans, and a female fan who sought him out at a late-night barbecue stall...
’This is a first for me.’
But...
’To be fair, her makeup is a bit heavy.’
’From a distance, it’s fine.’
’Up close, it’s a bit of a turn-off.’
’The wildflowers you find out in the world are no match for the one at home. Not even close.’
But compared to going back to his seat to chat with Zhou Xiao, staying here was relatively "safer."
Whatever.
’I’ll just hide out here for a bit.’
Seeing Lin Chu sit down, the little beauty in black deftly grabbed a plastic cup and filled it to the brim.
She then casually swept the shrimp shells and food scraps from the table into the trash can with a napkin.
Then she dusted off her hands, looked at Lin Chu with a beaming smile, and raised her cup. "Here, this one’s for you."
Lin Chu: ...
Suddenly, he had a faint realization.
’Having spent so much time in Business KTVs, I consider myself a seasoned veteran with women.’
’Fuck!’
’The way she cleared the trash... it looked damn professional.’
’It makes sense, when you think about it...’
’A low-cut top, heavy makeup, ten at night, a barbecue stall, a drinking party with strangers, and so practiced in her movements...’
’Her profession is self-evident.’
’What kind of "good girl" parties like this so late at night?’
’She’s definitely got ties to the nightlife scene.’
"Yeah. What should I call you?"
Lin Chu smiled, clinked his cup against hers, and asked casually.
"Linlin..."
She downed it in one go, showing him the bottom of her empty cup. Spotting the cigarette pack Lin Chu had placed on the table, she said, "Mind if I have one of your smokes?"
Lin Chu smiled. "Go ahead."
Besides being a bit turned off, he also felt a little amused.
’The quality of fans these days really isn’t up to par.’
’Then again, my own attitude isn’t much better. I’m being way too judgmental.’
’Even if she really does work in a private KTV room, you’d still have to pay to have her join you.’
’Right now, I’m basically getting her company for free.’
’Beggars can’t be choosers, right?’
’It’s just a chance meeting between strangers, after all.’
Linlin lit her cigarette and expertly blew out a puff of smoke. She shook the dice cup—RATTLE RATTLE—and shot Lin Chu a provocative look, one slender eyebrow raised.
"How about three rounds? Loser drinks a bottle each time. You in?"
Lin Chu: ...
He’d actually already had quite a bit to drink and was about thirty or forty percent drunk. This girl’s style was seriously wild.
Seeing this, the two other girls and two men at the table started to hoot and holler.
"Take him down!"
"Whoa, she’s a badass!"
"Sister Linlin is a badass!"
He glanced at them, and then, out of the corner of his eye, saw Zhou Xiao stand up and walk over, stopping right behind him. The situation felt even more ridiculous.
"I’m not very good at this, but sure, three rounds it is."
Linlin: "No worries, I suck at it too. I’m so bad they call me the worst player in North Sea."
She shook the dice cup, making it clatter loudly. Then, she suddenly pulled a trick move, yanking the cup under the table and then back up in one smooth motion. The dice didn’t even fall out. Her technique was incredibly skilled.
Lin Chu had tried that move a few times himself.
But he wasn’t nearly as practiced. His success rate was maybe one in ten.
A feeling of utter absurdity washed over him.
’I’m a goddamn billionaire, the chairman of a corporation, a top streamer with tens of millions of fans, surrounded by beautiful women, and right now I’m at a barbecue stall playing a childish game of Liar’s Dice with a "nightclub girl"?’
But still...
’I guess this is the "charm" of traveling, huh?’
’Objectively speaking, I sent out the invitation on my stream. The fact that she was willing to show up is a sign of respect.’
’Regardless of her status, in a place like this, everyone is equal.’
’No reason for me to act all high and mighty.’
He shook his dice cup.
"I’ll start."
"Six sixes!"
Linlin called out with a mischievous grin, licking her lips.
’Holy shit!’
"Show!"
He’d already had a bad feeling, but with two players, a bid of six sixes had to be called. When she opened her cup and he saw a pure set of sixes, Lin Chu could only give a wry smile.
He had lost, just as he’d expected.
"Drink now? Or let it accumulate?"
"I’ll give you a chance to make a comeback, you know."
Linlin said with a triumphant smile, and the others at the table couldn’t help but laugh.
This whole situation was pretty interesting.
Watching a beautiful woman absolutely demolish the famous streamer who had come from so far away.
"Let’s let it ride."
"Alright, alright, next round."
In the second round, she rolled another perfect set. After a few rounds of bidding, Lin Chu lost again.
"Damn, are you cheating or what?"
Lin Chu complained, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
It wasn’t that he was upset, though.
A bet’s a bet, and he was a good sport.
They were using the same cups and the same dice. It was just a difference in skill. Her hands were just too steady; you could call her a pro.
"How could I be? Best two out of three, and you’ve already lost. But hey... I’ll drink one with you. After all, you’re the one who came over to sit with me."
"Those guys were about to run off. No one else dared to play with me."
Linlin deftly opened three bottles of beer. She grabbed one for herself, tilted her head back—GLUG GLUG GLUG—and downed it, looking impressively bold.
After finishing, she fluttered her long, false eyelashes and looked at Lin Chu with a grin.
Your turn...
Lin Chu sighed softly, picked up a bottle, and began to sip it slowly.
"Whoa, no way. You’re drinking that slow? Can you even handle it?"
she teased with a laugh.
Lin Chu didn’t mind. He just gave a roguish grin. "I’m taking my time. You guys got here late, and I’d already had a lot to drink."
"Boring... Whatever, suit yourself!"
"So what brings you here? Investing? Opening a company? Or just traveling?"
She asked nonchalantly, exuding an air of detached decadence—carefree and a bit cavalier.
"Traveling."
"Traveling where? What’s your next stop?"
"Starting from my hometown, I’m following the national border, heading north, and making a full loop around."
Lin Chu said with a smile, letting out a beery burp as he continued to slowly sip the rest of his beer.
