Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!
Chapter 1244: The Tree of Wellness
Arabel’s time at the Center was coming to an end, and she was looking back on this short vacation with pleasure. If she had come here reluctantly before, now she realized that it was worth it.
Standing in front of the mirror in her room, she was happy to note how much she had changed. She not only regained her former shape, but she also seemed to become more attractive.
She was no longer wearing the Center’s guest uniform. She put on her clothes again: a white blouse, a black skirt, sandals, and jewelry.
"I wonder if he’ll like the way I look?" — A thought flashed through her mind.
A snort of displeasure rang out in her mind, and she couldn’t help but smile.
"It’s time," said Fifth, entering her room.
Arabel nodded and, after taking one last look at herself in the mirror, followed her to where they were already waiting for her.
"Arabel," — Lustina was the first to step forward and hug her.
The others followed her example.
Arabel hugged each of them with sincere joy.
Obviously, all these women, the Hosts of the Supreme Systems and those associated with other Hosts of the Supreme Systems, were of high status, and their cultivation greatly surpassed hers.
However, none of them had ever boasted of their achievements in front of her or demonstrated their strength. Instead, they treated her like an equal, and that was what she liked about their company.
"Thank you again," Arabel said, ending the conversation. "Thank you for coming to visit me and for those wonderful gifts."
She looked around at everyone gathered and, before leaving, added: "I’m looking forward to our next meeting."
"So are we," the women replied in unison.
After they said goodbye, Fifth led Arabel through the same corridors she had come through.
When they left the building and found themselves in a wonderful garden, Arabel stopped and took one last look at the building.
"Lady Arabel,— Fifth called.
Arabel turned to her, preparing to continue on her way, but noticed that the Fifth was staring at her intently.
"The Master wishes to meet with you," she suddenly said.
"Master?" — Arabel asked in disbelief until she understood.: "The Owner of this place?"
The Host of the Supreme Health System.
"Yes," Fifth nodded, confirming her guess.
After passing through the circular platform, Arabel found herself at the edge of a small garden, in the center of which stood a small mansion.
"This way," — said the Fifth, heading forward.
Following her, Arabel looked around the garden with interest, marveling at the abundance of various plants. She wanted to activate the {Eye of Identification}, but she suppressed the urge after realizing that these plants were probably unusual resources that her ability would most likely not be able to recognize.
As they approached the building, a little girl, who looked about three or four years old, ran out of the house.
"Fifth!" she exclaimed joyfully, running up to the girl, who, crouching down, picked up the girl in her arms.
Following the girl, a middle-aged man with short gray hair and a beard came out of the house. He was wearing round glasses, and an apron indicated that he was engaged in cooking.
He did not take his eyes off the girl. It wasn’t until the Fifth took her aside that he noticed Arabel.
"Nice to meet you," he nodded with a friendly smile.
Arabel, who was already used to the fact that none of the Hosts of the Supreme Systems gave their names, replied with a nod of greeting.
After another glance at Arabel, the man turned away and returned to the house, but soon reappeared. Walking up to her, he placed a small white pot in front of her. A slender stem with two silvery leaves rose from the dark earth.
"This is a sprout of the Tree of Wellness," he said. "Plant it where you consider your home. As long as it grows, diseases will not be able to enter there unnoticed."
Arabel carefully accepted the pot, not fully realizing the value of this gift.
At that moment, a Fifth Girl came up to her with a girl in her arms.
The girl reached out to the stem, stroked the leaf and said with a smile:
"Don’t worry. When she grows up, you’ll never be lonely at home again."
"She?" — Arabel looked at the girl in surprise. Giggling, she turned to the Fifth, who nodded, confirming the girl’s words.
Watching their reactions, Arabel made a guess, but decided to remain silent.
She turned her attention back to the pot.
"Tree of Wellness..." she repeated, and remembered the Trees of the Ice Elemental.
"Take care of it," the man said.
"Thanks to you, today my Center has been able to attract and provide services to those who are always busy, and even to those who cannot be invited even once in several centuries."
The man laughed, and the girl giggled along with him.
Arabel realized who the man was talking about. About the women who came to meet her and eventually became guests of the Center.
She turned to the smiling Fifth, finally realizing.
Fifth was very happy to get permission to notify her familiar Hosts and was even more pleased when they agreed to receive the Center’s services.
"Thank you," — Arabel said, carefully putting the pot with the sprout into her spatial storage.
She stared at the man in silence for a while.
It was their first meeting.
Using this, she asked a question that had been bothering her for a long time.:
"Why? Why are you all so supportive of me?"
The Host of the Supreme Health System did not immediately respond to her question.
"I can only say one thing," he finally said. "None of us are pretending. Everything that comes from us is sincere."
"But why?"
The man just looked at her. There was no irritation in his gaze, no desire to avoid an unpleasant topic. Only a calm warmth, the sincerity of which Arabel could no longer question.
However, she never received an answer.
