The Gathering of the Seven Elven Kingdoms

Idan and Arabel, going to the Ellarium for a walk, could not even imagine that they would become participants in such a large-scale event. They could have refused, but out of respect for their Master and gratitude for everything she had done for them, they accepted the invitation.

As they walked towards the majestic Magic Tree, Arabel was having an animated conversation with Eulalia, and Idan was listening intently to their conversation.

Two female elves followed behind them.

Thanks to the System, Idan found out that these elves are of the sixth rank.

"Since when have two sixth—rank beings been assigned to the Senior as protectors?" thought Idan, following next to his wife.

"So those elves with scarlet hair and bronze skin that Dan and I saw earlier are representatives of the Kingdom of the Tree of Eternal Flame, one of the seven Kingdoms of the Elves?" Arabel asked Eulalia.

"Oh, have you seen them?" asked Eulalia in surprise.

Arabel nodded. "Recently, when we were queuing up to upgrade our Adventurer plates."

"They were the last ones who hadn’t shown up yet. The rest arrived in advance," Eulalia said.

Idan, listening to her words, turned his gaze to the Tree of Magic, one of the seven pillars of the seven Elven Kingdoms.

According to Eulalia and Arabel, the Magic Tree they saw was a special, universal tree, while the other six were trees of the elements.:

* The Tree of Eternal Flame — Fire;

* The Tree of Bottomless Waters — Water;

* The Tree of Stone Heart — Earth;

* The Tree of the Heavenly Crown — Air;

* The Tree of the First Radiance — Light;

* The Tree of Eternal Twilight — Darkness.

Accompanied by Eulalia, they soon reached an area that Idan and Arabel guessed was inhabited by local "rich people," and entered one of the magnificent mansions built of white stone and decorated with live trees.

"Here you are," Miliсa greeted her disciples with a smile.

"Master," — Idan and Arabel greeted respectfully.

The two escorts did not enter inside, but remained outside the mansion.

When the door closed, Idan couldn’t help but ask:

"Master, are these two guarding the Senior because of her bloodline?"

Milica wasn’t surprised. She had expected such a question, especially from Idan, and in this regard he did not disappoint her.

"Let’s sit down first," she suggested.

The master and the students entered the living room and sat down on the luxurious sofas.

As the hostess, Milica prepared drinks for everyone from fresh local fruits.

When everyone tasted the drinks, Milica looked at Idan.

"Yes," she confirmed with a sigh and looked at her older disciple. "Young Eva’s bloodline is purer than that of many high elves. She’s purer than mine, and even purer than the current Elf Queen."

There was silence.

"I knew I couldn’t hide it, and I couldn’t help but take her with me, because I promised to help her," Milica continued. "Now I regret it a little, because many people have turned their eyes to her, including the Queen."

If Milisa had been aware of the [Law Resonance] ability in advance, she would have carefully weighed the pros and cons before taking Eulalia with her.

However, the cat had already been released from the bag, and now it was impossible to hide Eulalia’s presence from others.

"The Elf Queen?" — Arabel’s face darkened. "Is she a rank nine creature?"

Milica nodded.

Idan, on the other hand, frowned not only because of this. "Why is everyone just a Queen? The Valkyrie Queen, and now the Elf Queen? Where are the Kings?"

"Master, what about the rulers of the other six Elven Kingdoms? Are they also all Queens?"

Milica, Eulalia, and Arabel turned to him and looked at him strangely.

"I’m just curious," he blurted out.

"I’m going to disappoint you, Idan. Not all the rulers of the other Elf Kingdoms are Queens, some of them are Kings," Milica smiled.

"So they’re not all Queens?" Instead of being disappointed, Idan breathed a sigh of relief that the world wasn’t ruled by women alone.

"So, the old monsters have set their eyes on the Senior, and all this is because of us?" Arabel turned to Eulalia with an apologetic look.

She and Idan only wanted the best for her, not all of this.

"Little Arabel, don’t make that face," Eulalia said with a smile. "You haven’t done anything wrong. On the contrary, you have given me a chance that many can only dream of, and all this is just a test that I have to overcome."

Eulalia turned her gaze to Milica.

"Master, don’t blame yourself. You also haven’t done anything wrong. You saved me in Limbo and even accepted me as a disciple before I became who I am now, so I will never leave you or give up on you, and I will follow your teachings."

After hearing Eulalia’s words, Idan thought back to the moment when Milica accepted him, Arabel, Eulalia, and Nemo as her direct students. He remembered how Eulalia had cried with joy then. And knowing her character, he was convinced that she would not go back on her words.

"So, these two guards were appointed by the Queen? Idan asked. — And what does she want from the Senior? Take her as a disciple or what?"

"No, they were appointed by my Master," said Milisa.

"Does the Master have a Master?" wondered Idan and Arabel.

Milica laughed and replied: "Of course there is. Or do you think that I have achieved all this on my own?"

Idan and Arabel exchanged glances. Then they shook their heads.

"I will introduce my Master to you today," Milica stunned them. "As for the Queen’s intentions, she wants to connect little Eva with her youngest son and thereby draw her into the Royal Family."

Milica paused.

"Not only the Queen, but many people are proposing marriage. I’ve received a lot of offers from influential people lately, which is causing me a lot of trouble."

It was obvious that Milica was disgusted by the very idea of such a thing.

She did not want to trade her ward’s freedom and force her into an arranged marriage. She wanted Eulalia to determine her chosen one herself. In this matter, Milica followed the instructions of her Master, who protected her both in the past and in the present.
