Supreme Sword Exalt
Chapter 472 - Each Gains Something
Within the illusion, Fatty radiated intense golden light, growing increasingly arrogant and overbearing. “Someone like you dares to compete with me for a fortuitous opportunity? To hell with all of you! Mine! Every last one is mine!”
Since the end of the third pass, he had bulldozed his way forward, no opponent could stand against him.
In the fourth pass, he defeated Qiu Qian. Fatty stood with his hands behind his back, glancing sideways at Qiu Qian. “Ha! So much for being an outer domain Heavenly Pride. If I hadn’t missed the chance, you wouldn’t have had a place in the second pass.”
“Heaven-Conquering Prince, Fu Yulin!” Qiu Qian’s face was full of unwillingness and bitterness. “So you were the unrivalled Heavenly Pride hiding the deepest all along.”
In the sixth pass, he defeated Luo Wushuang.
With a casual wave of his hand, he trapped Luo Wushuang in the ancient golden bell. No matter how Luo Wushuang struggled, the golden bell didn’t budge.
He glared at Luo Wushuang. “Let’s play a new game! Count the essence crystals from one to one hundred million! If you can’t finish counting, don’t even think about getting out for the rest of your life!”
Luo Wushuang’s face no longer held its previous composure and smile, instead growing somewhat dark. “One, two...”
He actually began counting essence crystals right in front of Fatty!
In the eighth pass, Fatty defeated Wu Xin. Seizing the opportunity, he gave Wu Xin a thorough beating, then locked him up as well.
“You little bald donkey still trying to convert me into a demon? Recite my name with sincere devotion, one hundred and eight thousand times! Miss even one recitation, and I will smash your bald head to pieces!”
Breaking through six passes in a row, he effortlessly took first place in each, collecting rewards until his hands went soft. Saint herbs were merely the least of the prizes.
Soon, he arrived at the ultimate ninth pass. By now, only Feng Xi and Gu Han remained by his side. The moment he reached the ninth pass, the floating, golden ancient scroll captivated him. How could he pry his gaze away when it concealed an crucial secret art for the Indestructible Golden Physique?
The rules of the ninth pass were also very simple: fight and whoever won would claim the ancient scroll.
Feng Xi stared seriously at Fatty, a hint of loneliness flickering in her eyes. “It’s pointless to fight. I am no match for you.”
Gu Han nodded from the side. “She’s right! I mean, why would they place this scroll here, right at the final pass? That’s because the Gold List has recognized you as the first place! Whether we compete or not, it doesn’t really matter anymore. Besides, even if she and I joined forces, I doubt we could break your golden physique.”
Fatty waved, appearing utterly modest. “Don’t say that. There’s still a one-in-a-million chance.”
Gu Han stared at him, cycling through the five stages of grief before finally reaching acceptance. “Fatty, I concede. I am far inferior to you!”
Thus, the Gold List delivered the ancient scroll before Fatty. Amid the shining golden light, it grew increasingly divine.
Fatty swallowed his saliva but didn’t reach for it. Instead, he looked at Gu Han. “Say that again.”
“I am inferior to you.”
Fatty was thoroughly pleased. “One thousand more times!”
Then, he sighed. His aura deflated, and he glanced dejectedly at the ancient scroll, feeling like crying. “Damn it! If only this were real!”
As his words faded, Gu Han and Feng Xi vanished. As for the ancient scroll, it transformed into a beam of golden light that merged into his brow.

Under the collision of crimson flames and silver light, space shattered wherever it passed. The terrifying power spread in all directions. Those who stood even slightly too close were shaken by the residual force of their attacks, vomiting blood and fleeing far away.
Yun Tu maintained his unhurried expression, continuously provoking Feng Xi, “Little Sister, although your progress far exceeds my expectations, you are still no match for me in the end. Have you forgotten? I am not alone. I carry Seventh Brother’s power within me!”
The silver light around him subtly became transparent. His silver dragon also became faint and indistinct. The once traceable attacks had now grown elusive. Though not significantly more powerful, they proved far more troublesome than before.
The fury in the eyes of the heavenly phoenix nearly reached its peak. Then, that anger transformed into two divine flames. The moment the divine flames emerged, strands of destruction force fell upon the battlefield. Every attack Yun Tu made disintegrated bit by bit.
Just then, a soft sigh, filled with heartache, sounded. Feng Xi’s assault halted. Her gaze trembled for a moment, looking toward a spot not far away. There, a breathtakingly beautiful woman in an autumn-water long dress had appeared. Her form was hazy, seeming somewhat unreal. Yet both her temperament and her faintly visible features closely resembled Feng Xi’s.
Feng Xi could no longer look away. A hint of sorrow dyed her originally cold expression slightly.
The woman sighed. “Xi’er, he is fake.”
Feng Xi paused for a moment. “I know.”
Yun Tu raised an eyebrow. “Fake? Little sister, you really think—”
The heavenly phoenix’s divine flames flickered, shattering space bit by bit wherever they passed, landing directly on him. Yun Tu froze for a moment, then rapidly dissipated.
Feng Xi glared at him coldly. “Just wait. I will find you, and then I will kill you!”
Yun Tu smiled. “Looking forward to it!”
His form completely shattered and vanished.
Even as a Saint realm, using divine flames recklessly still placed a heavy burden on Feng Xi. A hint of red appeared at the corner of her mouth.
The woman was full of heartache. “Silly child, why are you so stubborn? You clearly know he’s fake, yet you still—”
“I was waiting for you.”
The woman approached gently, caressing her cheek, her eyes reddening. “Why are you so foolish? You know very well that I am also fake.”
With a smile, Feng Xi embraced her gently, a trace of longing flashing in her eyes. “It doesn’t matter. I wanted to see my mother with my own eyes, and to hold her myself. This might be my only chance.”

Luo Wushuang extended his right hand, calmly gazing at the towering figure before him. “This is your only chance, Father. Set aside your lofty posture and gamble with me fairly and justly, by my rules. If you win, I will change my mind.”
Above, the figure still did not speak, but his anger grew even more. His fury instantly triggered a resonance with the Great Dao. A heavenly might that seemed capable of destroying all things gathered but remained unleased, as if ready to annihilate everything in the world. Heavenly might expanded like an ocean.
Though Luo Wushuang was merely an ant, he stood far from the shore, in a place where the waves could never reach. He understood this very well, so he felt no fear at all.
“Father, guess how many essence crystals I hold in my hand. One or two?”
