Surviving the Infinite Survival Game by Exploiting Glitches
Chapter 106 When You’re Down on Your Luck, Even Drinking Water Gets Stuck Between Your Teeth
Lin Yun hadn’t gone far when a system notification suddenly appeared.

After walking a little farther, Lin Yun found a secluded corner and looked around to make sure no one from the base could see her.
Only then did she summon her personal cat-shaped stroller.
"Are we going home?"
As soon as Sang Biao appeared, he circled around Lin Yun’s feet twice, clearly eager to get moving.
Lin Yun crouched down and patted his head.
"Yeah. We need to hurry back. We also need to pick up some zombie corpses along the way and earn some pocket money."
Sang Biao immediately enlarged himself and waited for Lin Yun to climb onto his back.
Once she was seated securely, the cat-car set off again.
As they passed a certain area, Lin Yun was surprised to realize that this was where Xu Chi and his team had disposed of the zombie corpses.
A huge pit was filled with zombie bodies.
Sang Biao noticed it as well and immediately ran over.
"Wow! We’re going to make a fortune again!"
Lin Yun quickly opened her personal panel.
Her mission points were only a little over 110, while the maximum was 600.
She had to collect all the zombies in this pit carefully. Otherwise, even if she continued working hard to kill zombies, she might not be able to reach 600 points before her survival time in this world ended.
"Little Vine! Time to get to work! Hurry up and pull them out!"
Ghost Vine quickly expanded to an enormous size and got to work.
One vine after another reached into the pit, wrapped around the zombies’ hands or feet, and dragged them out.
Lin Yun carefully checked each zombie’s level.
Whenever she found a level-two or higher zombie, she extracted its crystal core before submitting the corpse.
Sang Biao didn’t want to dirty his fur, so he stayed out of the pit and patrolled the surrounding area, protecting Lin Yun and the others.
Lin Yun wiped the rain from her face again.
There were simply too many zombie corpses in this pit. She probably wouldn’t be able to finish collecting them all today, especially since she still had to extract the crystal cores.
Looks like we’ll have to finish this over the next two days.
After working for another hour or so, Lin Yun decided to stop for the day.
There were still zombie corpses she could collect along the way back.
This location was relatively close to the base. After being in this survival world for so long, and with so many zombie corpses still scattered around, it was highly likely that there weren’t many survivors nearby.
That worked in her favor.
She found a place where she could wash the dirt from her hands and then climbed onto Sang Biao’s back.
The cat-car was as fast as ever.
It hadn’t been more than a few minutes before they reached the place where Lin Yun had previously thrown the explosive grapes.
She quickly collected the zombie corpses there before continuing toward the square.
Hopefully, that high-level zombie hadn’t returned to the area yet.
Otherwise, they would really be in trouble.
Unfortunately, when you’re down on your luck, even drinking water can get stuck between your teeth.
Just a few kilometers from the square, Lin Yun encountered Wu Yatu again.
Wu Yatu was walking down the street with an umbrella when she suddenly heard a sound behind her.
She stopped and turned around.
It was Sang Biao.
He hadn’t had enough time to brake before coming to a stop in front of her, with Lin Yun sitting on his back.
Lin Yun was startled.
She hadn’t expected the route Sang Biao had taken to bring them directly into Wu Yatu’s path.
However, she concealed her surprise well.
She didn’t reveal that she knew who Wu Yatu was. Instead, she simply frowned and looked at her curiously.
Sang Biao stopped and grinned at Wu Yatu.
Although Wu Yatu looked completely harmless, Sang Biao was bound to Lin Yun and knew exactly who she was.
Wu Yatu tilted her head.
What a huge cat!
Lin Yun stared at Wu Yatu without saying anything, wondering what kind of zombie she really was.
After staring at each other for a moment, Wu Yatu slowly spoke.
"Hello, beautiful lady."
"...?"
"Excuse me, do you know where the nearest base is? I came from somewhere else, and I can’t find my way."
Wu Yatu knew her excuse was rather clumsy.
But so what?
As long as she didn’t admit to being a zombie, what could the other person do about it?
Lin Yun pursed her lips.
It seemed this zombie wanted to test her acting skills.
Acting?
Anyone could do that.
"I don’t know. I’m from somewhere else too. I was actually wondering if you knew."
Lin Yun deliberately pouted and looked somewhat disappointed.
Wu Yatu sighed softly.
"I see..."
"Then, would you like to help me look for a nearby base? Searching together would be faster, wouldn’t it?"
Wu Yatu gave Lin Yun another harmless smile and extended an invitation.
Lin Yun narrowed her eyes.
"That won’t be necessary. I prefer to travel alone."
Wu Yatu sounded slightly regretful.
"Oh, is that so? That’s a shame."
She smiled again.
"Then I won’t bother you any longer."
Wu Yatu didn’t want to reveal her identity yet.
Since Lin Yun had rejected her invitation, that was fine.
She had plenty of ways to find her later.
Lin Yun knew that as well.
If Wu Yatu really wanted to find her, it probably wouldn’t be difficult.
She simply felt unlucky.
How had she managed to run into Wu Yatu again?
What terrible luck!
Sang Biao carried Lin Yun past Wu Yatu.
After they had gone some distance, Lin Yun suddenly made him stop.
She turned around and looked at Wu Yatu, who was still standing there with her umbrella.
"Actually, it’s not so bad staying outside instead of going to a base."
"It’s much freer out here than inside a base, don’t you think?"
After saying that, Sang Biao started running again and quickly disappeared into the distance.
Wu Yatu stared in the direction Lin Yun had left, thoughtfully considering her words.
So she had no intention of joining the base.
What an innocent human girl.
Hmm...
But that cat was quite interesting.
The next time she saw Lin Yun, she would kill her and take the cat for herself.
She loved cats the most.
Wu Yatu licked her lips.
Before that, she wanted to ask the human woman how that cat had managed to grow so large.
She was genuinely curious.
After glancing in the direction she had come from, Wu Yatu narrowed her eyes and continued walking toward the square.
Lin Yun wasn’t sure whether Wu Yatu would follow her.
To throw her off, she had Sang Biao circle around the square several times.
Meanwhile, Song Xizheng was watching the outside through his window when a familiar figure suddenly flashed past below.
His eyes widened.
"Sister Lin! Sister Lin! Stop!"
Lin Yun immediately turned around.
Who was calling her?
The voice sounded somewhat familiar.
"Sister Lin! Stop the car!"
"No, wait! Stop the cat!"
Song Xizheng shouted again, afraid that Lin Yun would leave before he could catch up.
He was frantic.
From outside, he couldn’t even see the window of Lin Yun’s shelter clearly.
All he could do was shout.
If Lin Yun didn’t stop, he wouldn’t have enough time to get downstairs.
Lin Yun paused.
Oh.
That sounded like Song Xizheng’s voice.
She quickly patted Sang Biao and made him turn around.
