Sweet Time Only for You: The Entanglement between Mr. Lu and Miss Song
Chapter 1030: Familiar Playing Technique
Song Yinyin quickly followed, carefully keeping a certain distance from Chi Wen.
Chi Wen didn’t stay long in the piano room management office, and after handing over the materials to the administrator, she left.
Afraid of being discovered, Song Yinyin immediately turned around and hid inside an abandoned old piano room at this end of the corridor.
Just as she hid inside, Chi Wen walked past the door of the old piano room in her high heels.
But after a few steps, the footsteps suddenly paused.
Thinking she had been discovered, Song Yinyin’s heart leaped into her throat.
Instinctively, she pressed her hands against the doorknob, worried that Chi Wen might come over at any moment to push open the door.
But Chi Wen did not come over. Instead, she looked up towards another piano room ahead and then walked in.
That piano room wasn’t large, less than ten square meters, with an old piano inside.
Although the piano was old, its sound was full and bright.
Chi Wen lifted the lid of the piano, her hands gliding over the keys, and finally focused her fingertips on a key in the middle range.
She first struck a single note.
Then, alternating her index and middle fingers, she played a series of trills.
She seemed eager to play, yet as if restraining herself, her expression was indescribably conflicted.
After a good ten seconds, she finally decided to sit on the piano bench.
Seeing this, Song Yinyin was taken aback.
She never expected Chi Wen to know how to play the piano.
Moreover, from her stance while playing those trills, she didn’t seem like a beginner; rather, she appeared to be an experienced pianist with proficient and effortless technique.
What piece would she play next?
Song Yinyin’s curiosity was piqued completely.
Soon she saw Chi Wen’s hands lift and gently place on the keys, her wrists rising and falling, as a series of elegant notes flowed from her fingertips.
It was a piece that wasn’t particularly difficult, the all-too-common "To Alice".
Though it was a popular and very ordinary piano piece, Song Yinyin was still stunned when she heard her play.
She felt a strong sense of familiarity.
How to put it? Chi Wen’s playing style seemed inexplicably familiar, like the finger turns, jumps, the tactile feel at her fingertips, and dynamics, all gave Song Yinyin a sense of deja vu.
But where had she witnessed it before?
Could it have been abroad?
It seemed not...
Suddenly, a shiver ran through Song Yinyin’s mind.
She realized why it felt so familiar.
As it turned out, Chi Wen’s playing technique was almost identical to the late Song Anqi’s, as if the same person played it!
They had known each other from a young age and studied piano together in the same art school; Song Yinyin was very familiar with Song Anqi, especially with her playing technique, familiar to the utmost degree.
But how could this be possible?
How could two different people play with almost identical techniques?
Song Yinyin was unable to regain her composure for a long time...
Just as she was utterly shocked, the piano sound suddenly stopped, and Chi Wen’s playing ceased.
She suddenly turned her head, casting a sharp glance in Song Yinyin’s direction, and sneered coldly, "Who?!"
Immediately, Chi Wen stood up swiftly from the piano bench.
Startled, Song Yinyin’s heart skipped a beat, and reflexively, she bent down, crouching on the ground.
Chi Wen seemed to have noticed her and began to walk towards Song Yinyin, step by step.
