“We don’t have direct evidence yet, but based on my judgment, it’s highly likely,” Lu Jihan said in a deep voice.

Song Yinyin listened, and her heart sank even further.

“Yan Zhengxiong is cunning, could he use Dabai to threaten you, what if…” Before she could finish her sentence, she was already sobbing uncontrollably.

Lu Jihan couldn’t bear to see her cry, so he pulled her into his arms and comforted her, “Don’t worry, our son will be okay!”

These words were meant to comfort both her and himself.

In fact, even Lu Jihan himself felt unsure and couldn’t help but secretly blame his own negligence.

“Then quickly ask Song Anqi, maybe she can get something out of Yan Zhengxiong,” Song Yinyin said urgently, her voice hoarse.

Lu Jihan shook his head, saying, “Song Anqi is just a pawn in Yan Zhengxiong’s hands. Now that her identity has been exposed by me, she has become a useless pawn. To Yan Zhengxiong, she is not only useless but also a ticking time bomb, so Song Anqi won’t be able to extract any information.”

“Then… are we just going to wait like this?”

Hearing this, Song Yinyin’s face turned pale.

After a moment of contemplation, Lu Jihan gently patted her back.

He comforted, “The security at Curtis Art School is very good, and since Angie discovered Dabai was missing early, it had only been a short interval of just over ten minutes before the headteacher was notified. So, Dabai should still be on campus. I have already informed the school authorities to seal off all exits to ensure no one can enter or leave the school grounds and have people constantly monitoring the security camera screens. If we’re lucky, by the time we get there, they might have already found Dabai.”

With Lu Jihan’s words, Song Yinyin felt much better.

But her heart was still in her throat, unable to calm down for a long time.

Soon, the car arrived at Curtis Art School.

Song Yinyin got out of the car and, as Lu Jihan said, found that the school entrance was indeed sealed off, preventing any vehicles or pedestrians from entering.

Lu Jihan and Song Yinyin entered the school through the side gate and arrived at the security room.

Yan Xue and Shen Kang were both there.

Seeing the couple arrive, Yan Xue almost knelt in front of Song Yinyin: “Jinhan, Yinyin, I’m sorry, it’s all my fault, I was negligent, I’m sorry, I, I…”

Lu Jihan quickly supported Yan Xue and let her sit down.

“Sister-in-law, this is not your fault, someone took advantage of the situation, it’s not related to you,” he said calmly.

Although Song Yinyin’s heart was concerned about her son’s safety, she remained rational and knew what was most important at this moment.

“Sister-in-law, Jinhan is right, sometimes it’s not about who’s right or wrong but about dealing with the unforeseen.”

Shen Kang then walked over to report, “Mr. Lu, our team has just analyzed the school map and finally identified a target location.”

As he spoke, he opened the map and pointed to a specific location on it.

Lu Jihan and Song Yinyin focused on it, discovering it was the school’s outdoor swimming pool.

“Since it’s during class hours, all school buildings are open, except for this outdoor swimming pool, which due to it being spring, hasn’t opened yet, and the surveillance cameras aren’t operational. The changing room in the pool is an ideal hiding spot.”

After hearing Shen Kang’s analysis, Lu Jihan nodded, “What are we waiting for, let’s go find him immediately!”

“Yes!”

Saying this, Lu Jihan was ready to leave, eager to fly to his son’s side.
