"What do you know?!"

Yan Zhengxiong scolded: "This bidding case is very important for our Yan Family. Once we win the case for the Warsaw Music Academy, all the art academies in S Country will open their doors to us."

"I know this case is important for our Yan Family, but..."

Yan Kejun wanted to say something, but Yan Zhengxiong interrupted him, speaking on his own:

"That’s the Warsaw Music Academy, a top-tier art school in the country. International masters and music professors from home and abroad perform there regularly. Winning this case is like conquering half of the art world! How can you watch our Yan Family lose just like that?!"

Yan Kejun said, "But we cannot resort to any means necessary. Instead of sneakily taking others’ cases to tweak and refine, we should be exploring the potential of our own team.

We should reflect on ourselves and produce some truly representative projects. Instead of copying Mainland Group’s business model all the time, continuous development and growth are the paths for our Yan Family."

Yan Kejun poured out all the frustrations that had been bottled up inside him for a long time.

He said painfully, "Uncle, I know you always mean well to protect us, but this method won’t last long. It will eventually be eliminated..."

"Shut up!"

Yan Zhengxiong gritted his teeth in anger, "Don’t forget, who did our Yan Family rely on to develop to this point? Don’t think you can lecture me just because you have grown wings, right?!"

"Uncle, I didn’t mean that, I..."

"Enough, shut up!"

Yan Zhengxiong roared, slamming his hand down suddenly, causing the tea set on the table to tilt over, spilling tea all over the floor.

Seeing this, Yan Kejun dared not say anything further, fearing that if he continued, Yan Zhengxiong’s high blood pressure might flare up.

He silently suppressed his internal frustration, nodded, and said: "Uncle, please don’t worry, I’ll go see if there’s any way to remedy the situation."

"Hmph!"

Yan Zhengxiong snorted coldly, his face ashen, and waved his hand.

When Yan Kejun came down from upstairs, he happened to see a woman walking in from outside.

Upon closer look, the woman turned out to be Chi Wen.

This woman coming at this time was going to be unlucky.

As Chi Wen walked past him, Yan Kejun stopped and said, "I advise you not to go upstairs now, or you’ll be the one to suffer."

However, Chi Wen had no intention of backing down, casting a cold glance at him, she said, "Thank you, Mr. Yan, for the reminder."

Thankful though she was, she still ascended to the second floor in her high heels.

Upon learning that the ultimate winner of this case was Mainland Group, she had already prepared herself for the scolding to come.

Seeing this, Yan Kejun smiled self-deprecatingly, shook his head, and continued to walk outside.

Soon after, there was a thud from upstairs, followed by a crisp and sharp sound.

Bang—

He stood still, turning his head to look at the study on the second floor, almost able to picture Chi Wen getting slapped in the face.

Sure enough, a furious shout from his uncle soon followed from upstairs.

He furrowed his brows tightly, turned around, and left.

...

Upstairs.

Chi Wen covered her left cheek, her shoulders trembling slightly.

Though scolded, she didn’t dare say a word, tucking her neck in and lowering her head, silently enduring Yan Zhengxiong’s abuse.
