The incessant howls of wolves reverberated across the wilderness.

"These Black Wolves look no different from ordinary creatures evolved, yet I didn’t expect they were beings condensed from energy out of thin air; the nest truly is a miraculous existence."

Sherman gazed with interest at the dense wolf pack below.

Cole said expressionlessly, "If you’re interested, capture a few afterwards for research; for now, concentrate on finding the nest."

Sherman smiled, not angry; he was long accustomed to Cole’s personality.

"No need to be so serious; the Red-eyed Crows have been released. Any harvest will be known to us immediately."

Not long ago, the Star Alliance issued a mission to find the ’Twilight Valley’ nest.

Considering the Wolf Tide Plane might still harbor Dusk Wolves, this mission was restricted to being taken only by Wizards.

Sherman and Cole were among those who took this mission, arriving at the Wolf Tide Plane.

To increase search efficiency, they specially enlisted a group of Red-eyed Crows.

The Red-eyed Crow’s excellent long-distance vision holds unparalleled advantages in finding things, especially the Red-eyed Crows modified by the Star Alliance, whose abilities exceed those of ordinary kin significantly.

Wherever the two went, they released the Red-eyed Crows, searching the area within a hundred-mile radius. If nothing was found, they proceeded to the next region.

The method seemed somewhat foolish, but there was no alternative.

Although the Wolf Tide Plane is smaller than the Starlight Continent, it is ultimately an entire plane.

Also, those living in this plane are mostly the Exotic Beast Race, unable to communicate and gather intelligence.

The entire Wolf Tide Plane presents a primal state, besides forests and wilderness, there are lakes and mountains.

The only foreign presence is the Clay Golem left by Youxi for mining.

In such circumstances, finding the nest can only rely on the simplest and most primitive method: searching bit by bit.

"There are still a lot of Black Wolves in the Wolf Tide Plane right now; deploying the Golem Legion would provoke wolf pack attacks and battles. Otherwise, if the Golem Legion was spread out, the search would be much simpler."

Sherman sighed lightly.

He initially thought of using the Black Wolves’ tracks to find the nest, but later found the Black Wolves unusually scattered and seen everywhere, thus had to abandon the plan.

Flying at full speed, the duo quickly reached the spot where the Red-eyed Crow’s life energy vanished, and from over a thousand meters away, they spotted a massive wolf completely black, except for its eyes and tusks, which were blood red.

Belonging to the same Dusk Wolf group, Blood Fang and Grey Claw belong to the physical series, their combat power not as strong as the Natural Series Fog Howler and Night Shadow; Sherman and Cole were fearless, calmly facing off against it.
