"What’s wrong? You look serious. Did something happen?" Li Xuanyu asked worriedly, tying an apron and letting her hair loose as she emerged from the kitchen.

Mo Jingchun pulled Li Xuanyu into his arms and said with a smile, "What could it be? Even if something huge happened, your man can handle it. I’m not bragging, but even if aliens came, they’d have to kneel."

Upon hearing this, Li Xuanyu shot Mo Jingchun a reproachful glance. Despite his claim, given Blue Star’s technological development level, if they really encountered aliens capable of intergalactic travel, even the weakest ones are beyond what Blue Star folks could deal with.

Nuclear weapons are indeed powerful, but their real destructive power lies in the nuclear radiation. However, in outer space, without the protection of the ozone layer, atmosphere, and Blue Star’s magnetic field, space is constantly filled with all kinds of deadly radiation.

Thus, the range of nuclear weapons’ power in space isn’t as significant.

It’s the alien civilizations that would pose a disaster for Blue Star if they unleash various viruses and bacteria on it.

With minimal cost, they could achieve maximum victory.

There’s an unbridgeable gap between levels of civilization. It’s like ants and humans; ants can injure or even kill humans, but humans can kill ants effortlessly.

"I have an important meeting this afternoon, and I might return late tonight. Keep an eye on Candy to make sure she does her homework."

Psssh~

Li Xuanyu couldn’t help but laugh, "You’re really something as a big brother. You never did your homework when you were younger, but now you’re demanding it from your sister."

Mo Jingchun shrugged and said with a laugh, "As I said, when Candy goes to junior high, as long as she ranks first in the whole grade in every exam, I’ll negotiate with the school and teachers for a special exemption to not do homework."

"Besides, Candy is almost graduating from primary school, isn’t she? Stick it out a little longer and victory is just around the corner."

Coming down the stairs, Candy caught this remark and rolled her eyes, chiming in, "Brother, you better mean it. Xuanyu and Zero heard you, so don’t change your tune later and say it has to be city-wide first place."

Seeing Candy coming down, Li Xuanyu naturally got up from Mo Jingchun’s side. Without his wife in his arms, Mo Jingchun, somewhat irritated, said to Candy, "Do I, your brother, look like someone who doesn’t keep his word? I’ve been doing business for so many years; everyone knows Mo Jingchun believes in credibility, and absolutely sticks to his word."

Watching the bickering siblings, Li Xuanyu promptly acted as a mediator, while Zero was entirely unconcerned about the boss and Candy fighting, let alone them actually coming to blows.

"Alright, alright, let’s eat."

In the morning, just after nine, employees heading to work gradually noticed numerous cleaning ladies tidying the entire office building today.

Only then did everyone suddenly realize that early in the morning, the landscaping crew seemed to be arranging pots of flowers and plants.

Curious employees on friendly terms with the reception desk asked if some important person was visiting today.

The reception desk confirmed this but wasn’t aware of who the guest would be.

That’s human nature; the more mysterious, the more curiosity, speculation, and discussion it sparks.

But the confidentiality surrounding this meeting meant that the guest’s identity was destined to remain unknown to many. Receptionists would see, but with prior warnings, no one would be foolish enough to lose their job for talking too much.

After all, with Zero’s tracing capability known throughout Candy Technology, no one doubts it for a second.

Mid-morning, Mo Jingchun was in his office remotely checking the automatic production plant of space shuttles at the Anyang Base.

To deliver the space shuttles ordered by different countries on time, the production line had not stopped running a 24-hour cycle since it started.

Only on Friday nights does White halt the production line for thorough maintenance and upkeep of the fully automated production line.

In the quiet office, the sound of footsteps was suddenly conspicuous.

Hearing the footsteps, Mo Jingchun looked at the doorway. Seeing who it is, Mo Jingchun wasn’t too surprised, and his gaze returned to the computer screen as he asked flatly, "Is the conference room prepared?"

Xia Xiaomin, who had deliberately dressed formally, nodded earnestly and replied, "The conference room is ready. I’ve also arranged for the inside and outside of the park to be clean and beautified."

Mo Jingchun smiled slightly and said, "That’s all secondary. Trust me; those coming today aren’t concerned with appearances."

Glancing at the time, Mo Jingchun spoke again, "For now there’s nothing else; go ahead and get busy. I’ll check on R16 a bit later."

"Okay, Boss."

Just past two in the afternoon, Mo Jingchun, quietly reading in his office, heard his phone vibrate. He leisurely set aside his prose book and picked up the phone.

Seeing the message from Qin Yuzhu, Mo Jingchun stretched and said with a smile, "Zero, get ready, we’re going to greet them downstairs. And let the relevant staff in the lobby know not to leak any information about this afternoon internally or externally.

If I find out, they’ll pack up and leave."

"Got it, Boss. The notification has been sent."

Ten minutes later, only accompanied by Zero, Mo Jingchun stood quietly at the south gate waiting. It wasn’t a lack of desire for grandeur but at the behest of the guest.

Just then, Mo Jingchun spotted Uncle sitting by the entrance of the surveillance room smoking and hurriedly jogged over.

Seeing Mo Jingchun approach, Zhou Xing curiously asked, "Are you waiting for guests?"

Mo Jingchun nodded helplessly and whispered, "Uncle, don’t smoke in a bit; someone senior is coming."

Saying so, Mo Jingchun gestured upwards.

Noting Mo Jingchun’s expression and gesture, Zhou Xing drew a cold breath.

"Whoa, I’ll stop."

As soon as the words were out, Zhou Xing stubbed out the cigarette.

"Ahem, go wait. Don’t be here chatting with an old guy like me when the guests arrive."

"Alright."

Watching the returning boss, Zero asked curiously, "Boss, smoking shouldn’t matter, right? That person might even share a common topic with Uncle."

Understanding what Zero meant by ’common topic’, Mo Jingchun shot Zero a vexed look.

"Stop talking nonsense." As he spoke, Mo Jingchun’s gaze flicked to the four security personnel standing guard outside.

The four security personnel were attempting to mask their reactions, but their slightly twitching facial muscles had already betrayed them.

At this moment, Zero suddenly said, "They’ve arrived."

Upon hearing this, Mo Jingchun looked toward the end of the road outside the gate.
