Ten Lucky Draws: I Became OP

Chapter 705: I’m Not the Main Character (2)

Back in Pantheos, Irene found herself in a room surrounded by those she saw as monsters.

The man she had been searching for had known of her arrival the moment she set foot in Pantheos. Every spirit felt it too.

Yet there was no urgency, for it would be foolish to intrude upon a place ruled by the one who stood above all—he was the One God.

Ash walked down the long, elegant hallway with Sylvie on his left and Mira on his right.

The corridor was softly lit by warm golden lanterns, the walls adorned with subtle, flowing patterns that shifted gently like living art.

The air carried a faint, pleasant scent of flowers and clean linen.

Sylvie leaned into him with a playful smile, her greenish succubus tail curling around his waist as she spoke.

[A/N: Yes, like the other women she’s using her original racial traits.]

---

"I can’t believe... someone tried to hijack my body while we were in the middle of that," she said, her voice light and teasing.

"Hmph, I deserve a payment... she got to experience all of that for free?"

Mira laughed softly from his other side; her white and brown harpy features still slightly flushed from their earlier activities.

"Well, now I’m sure she must be so confused," Mira added, her voice warm.

"I’m sure she came looking for Husband... but instead she got the show of a lifetime."

Ash chuckled; his arm wrapped around both of them as they walked.

"I’m more amused that the inhabitants of the First Absence sought me out first," he said, his tone light and genuinely curious.

"I wonder what prompted them to do that."

He knew without a doubt that these were beings from the First Absence, and he hadn’t given much thought to the Unknown—mainly because, well... it was the Unknown.

There was simply no way to track or understand something so elusive until he possessed its complete power himself.

’Hmm, at this stage, the best I can manage is to step into the Unknown and try to manipulate it a little...’ he mused, already piecing together a plan to bring everything to a decisive end.

’For now, I guess I can only see just how strong they really are...’

Sylvie let out a soft hum, her tail curling more snugly around him.

"Or maybe.... they were looking for Minx? She is from the Reader’s Faction after all." she said with a small shrug. "Or maybe they’re just... bored?"

Even though she hinted at boredom, they all understood that beings with such immense power never acted out of mere boredom.

Their every move had purpose, weight, and intention—boredom had nothing to do with it.

Not in the slightest.

They reached the open doors to the main room.

Sylvie and Mira both turned to him at the same time, each giving him a soft, lingering kiss on the lips before they stepped inside and took their seats.

And the moment they left... Katherine and Nia were already there.

"Ashy~"

Nia stood up first, pulling Ash into a possessive kiss, her black eyes gleaming as she murmured against his mouth.

Katherine followed, her kiss slower and more sensual, her bloody crimson eyes half-lidded with affection.

The rest of the wives followed after that, each greeting him with warmth — some with quick, loving kisses, others with gentle hugs or playful teasing words.

Irene, who had been sitting quietly and trying to relax, froze the moment Ash entered the room.

Her eyes widened as she watched him interact with the women around him. Her hands gripped the arms of her chair tightly, her breathing becoming shallow as she stared at him.

She muttered under her breath, her voice barely audible.

"...That’s him... the Main Character..."

----

Ash sank into the large, plush bean bag with a relaxed exhale, his posture loose and unbothered. The moment he settled, the spirits appeared around him in their preferred way.

Creara materialized on his left shoulder, Elysia on his right, Unara perched lightly atop his head, and Minx claimed his lap without hesitation.

Minx looked different now — her long hair flowed in strands of black and white, and her skin held a faint, translucent sheen, as though she existed between two states of being.

Irene’s eyes widened sharply the moment she saw her.

"Young Minx... is that you?" she asked, her voice laced with disbelief.

Even through the changes, she could still feel a faint, familiar tug — the same resonance she had always sensed from the Minx she once knew.

The tug of the Primedivas Race.

The Mother leaned forward in her seat, her pale eyes narrowing with genuine curiosity.

"Good, now I can finally unravel the mystery behind Minx," she said, her tone smooth yet edged with intrigue.

Minx gave a soft, playful laugh, shifting comfortably in Ash’s lap as she glanced at the Mother.

"Hmph, Old Lady... there’s no mystery left," she teased lightly. "Not anymore, at least."

Ancestor Seeker chuckled from her seat, her long brown hair catching the light as she shook her head.

"No, there’s no mystery. At this point, we’re all Primedivas," she corrected gently. "You do know that Husband is the Origin of all Races, don’t you?"

Yonna lounged nearby with her legs crossed, smirking as she said, "Right... Mother."

After a brief pause, she added, "Seriously, we’re giving you a new name. From this moment, you’re Anna—no way am I calling you Mother all the time."

She chuckled before continuing, "As I was saying, Anna, it only takes one glance from Husband to become something more than what a race once was. And by default... so do we."

Irene’s face grew paler with every word.

Although she didn’t know how truthful their words were... knowing how Main Characters usually operated... Such a thing wouldn’t be too far-fetched.

Her hands gripped the arms of her chair tightly, her breathing uneven as she tried to process what she was hearing.

The casual way they spoke about something so fundamental to her entire existence made her feel as though the ground beneath her was shifting.

After a moment, she looked directly at Minx, her voice strained.

"Young Minx... what is the meaning of this?"

Minx tilted her head slightly, a small, playful smile on her lips. She rose from Ash’s lap with graceful ease, her long black and white hair swaying as she took a step back.

She shook her head softly.

"I’m no longer the Minx of All," she said, her voice calm but heavy with meaning.

"Irene... the first. Now I am Akashic ’Minx’ Originat — the one who gives all and holds it all."

In the center of the room, her transformation began.

Her body dissolved into shimmering particles of red and white light, swirling like pages caught in a gentle wind.

The particles expanded and condensed, forming a vast, endless book that hovered in the air.

Its cover was a deep, rich red with intricate white patterns that constantly shifted and rewrote themselves.

The book had no fixed thickness — its pages seemed infinite, each one glowing with golden script that flowed and changed in real time, as if recording every possibility, every memory, and every secret in existence.

Irene’s face drained of all color.

"You... you’ve been corrupted by the Main Character," she whispered, her voice barely audible, thick with horror.

A heavy silence settled over the room.

Ash finally spoke, his voice calm and steady as he looked at Irene.

"Who," he asked, "the hell said I’m the Main Character?"

He then turned his gaze to his wives, his tone remaining even, though a faint trace of dark amusement laced his words.

"And loves... why isn’t she dead yet? Or are we planning to torture her first?"
