Following Finn’s order, the members of the Reborn Oracion Seis completely dropped their magic and relaxed. Having absolutely no intention of fighting a pointless battle, they simply collapsed onto the cold stone floor of the courtyard. They were relieved they didn’t have to face a troublesome, fresh opponent when their magical reserves were running on fumes.

"What’s wrong? Do you still want to fight?"

Finn casually looked over at Mirajane. Unlike the exhausted Dark Guild, she hadn’t dismissed her Satan Soul. Her demonic aura flared violently, looking absolutely ready to go berserk at any moment.

"Oh?" Mirajane’s lips curled into a bloodthirsty, predatory smile. "If I do... will you show me the true might of the Chief of the Magic Council?"

"Let me correct you," Finn replied smoothly, narrowing his eyes. "I am the Chief of the Fiore Branch, not the head of the entire Magic Council."

"Isn’t that practically the exact same thing at this point?"

"If I spoke like that, people might mistakenly think the entire organization belongs to me. That’s the kind of thing an arrogant tyrant would say."

"...."

Every single person in the courtyard stared at him in utter silence.

If you aren’t a tyrant, then what exactly the hell are you?

Erik, Macbeth, Sawyer, Erigor, and Sorano all desperately wanted to scream those exact words, but out of sheer self-preservation, they clamped their mouths shut.

"So, are you going to fight me? I really want to see the difference between us, since I’m supposedly so weak compared to you, right~?" Mirajane purred, her demonic voice laced with heavy sarcasm. She wasn’t entirely sure how strong Finn truly was, but she was deeply annoyed by his arrogant, condescending act. She fully intended to punish him by completely incinerating his expensive suit so the entire world could see his bare ass.

"Are you absolutely sure about this?" Finn looked at Mirajane with a strange, almost pitying expression.

"...It’s really better if you don’t," Sorano muttered weakly from the floor, deciding to offer a rare piece of genuine advice to her former enemy.

"Do you honestly think I will lose?" Mirajane snapped back. "I’m not pathetically weak like you." While Mirajane could sense that the Reborn Oracion Seis were powerful, she was confident they were no match for her demonic might.

"..."

Sorano glared, thoroughly offended.

"Let’s not get involved," Erik sighed, placing a hand on Sorano’s shoulder to stop her from arguing. Sorano rolled her eyes but ultimately stayed quiet. She knew it was entirely meaningless unless Mirajane personally experienced the suffocating despair of Finn’s true power.

Even Erik had to humbly admit that Finn was an absolute monster—especially since his foolproof Hearing Magic was completely useless against the man. It was the first time in his life that he had encountered a mind completely veiled in static. He didn’t know how Finn did it, but he wasn’t going to press his luck. Besides, even if he could read Finn’s mind, how do you dodge an attack moving at the literal speed of light?

"Sure," Finn finally agreed.

"Eh? Really?" Mirajane blinked, slightly surprised that he accepted so easily.

"But let me heal your friends first."

"Eh?"

Under Mirajane’s bewildered gaze, Finn casually extended an open palm toward Elfman and Cana, who were still completely paralyzed and groaning in pain from Erik’s corrosive poison. He didn’t even touch them. A blindingly pure, warm, holy aura erupted from his hand.

"Invigorate."

The radiant holy magic washed over the two Fairy Tail mages, instantly purging the lethal toxins from their veins and restoring their stamina. Everyone from Fairy Tail watched in utter, jaw-dropping shock.

The Reborn Oracion Seis weren’t surprised, but even they had to admit that Finn was likely the strongest healer on the entire continent now that he possessed Archangel Michael’s soul.

"...I’m okay, Man?" Elfman flexed his massive arms, shocked to find his strength completely restored.

"I feel... so strangely energetic," Cana muttered, standing up. The suffocating, nauseating weakness caused by Erik’s poison had vanished entirely.

"...Holy magic?" Mirajane whispered, her eyes narrowing sharply.

Just being in the general vicinity of his magic made her demonic skin crawl with intense, burning irritation.

"It is," Finn nodded smoothly. "Do you want to try it out? Being touched by this light is going to be incredibly comforting for you."

"..."

Comforting? Mirajane thought grimly. His healing magic would probably literally burn my skin off!

After all, her magic and element was that of darkness and a devil, being healed by a holy magic would hurt her instead!

Yet, there was absolutely no way she was going to swallow her pride and admit defeat. Frankly, seeing this arrogant, manipulative politician effortlessly wield the purest form of holy magic infuriated her. She desperately wanted to taint him, to brutally drag him down and prove that her darkness was overwhelmingly stronger.

"I don’t need your healing. Do you really think you can defeat me with a support spell?"

"There is far more to holy magic than just healing."

"Then let’s see it." Mirajane lowered her stance, her demonic claws flexing as she prepared for his assault.

"No, no. Ladies first. You start," Finn offered with an infuriatingly gentle smile.

"Hmm?" Mirajane frowned, confused by his passivity.

"Because if I make the first move, you will lose instantly."

"...."

Bisca, Lisanna, Elfman, and Cana all winced.

Surprisingly, Mirajane remained calm. She took a deep, steadying breath. "Then try blocking this!"

She exploded forward at blinding speed, crossing the courtyard in a microsecond. She drove her demonic, flame-wreathed fist directly toward Finn’s stomach with enough force to shatter a mountain!

"Saint Coat."

In that exact millisecond, a flawless, perfectly spherical barrier of pure holy light materialized around Finn.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!

Mirajane’s brutal, S-Class strike slammed into the barrier—and was completely, utterly stopped. The impact didn’t even put a dent in Finn’s shield.

But the true terror of the Sitri Soul wasn’t just physical enhancement; it was the raging, inextinguishable flames of hell!

"Your barrier is solid, but let’s see if it can protect you from the blistering heat of hellfire!" Mirajane roared, unleashing a massive torrent of dark flames to engulf the shield.

Why was she pushing so hard? Because the sheer hypocrisy of his magic made her want to completely dominate him. Her magic represented pure darkness, evil, and demonic wrath. Yet Finn—who was undeniably cunning, manipulative, and ruthlessly overbearing—somehow commanded the gentle, pure light of heaven?

"It’s just so incredibly weird..." Elfman muttered from the sidelines.

"Shh, Nii-chan!" Lisanna hissed quickly, glaring at her brother.

Elfman quickly shut his mouth, but he wasn’t wrong. Everyone watching felt the exact same bizarre cognitive dissonance. Mirajane, despite her demonic magic, was genuinely the sweetest, most gentle person in Fairy Tail. Finn, despite his holy magic, was an absolute devil.

"Yeah... it really is weird," Cana’s lips twitched. She desperately wanted a stiff drink to wash away the confusing, uncomfortable atmosphere.

Fortunately, Bisca clamped a hand over Cana’s mouth before the drunken mage could say anything else stupid.

"Really?" Finn stood perfectly unharmed inside the inferno. He could immediately tell Mirajane was genuinely strong, fully deserving of her S-Class title. But she simply wasn’t his opponent—especially since he was conceptually her ultimate, fatal weakness.

"Try dodging this, then."

Finn calmly aimed an open palm toward the sky. "Twinkle Star."

A blindingly bright, gentle cross-shaped star of pure holy light suddenly bloomed in the night sky above the courtyard. To an ordinary civilian, it looked breathtakingly beautiful. To a demonic entity like Mirajane, it radiated pure, concentrated horror.

The moment the star fully formed, it suddenly shot downward, hurtling directly toward her like a meteor!

"Sitri Blast!"

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

Mirajane slammed her hands together, firing a massive, concentrated beam of demonic hellfire to intercept the falling star. The resulting explosion rocked the entire mansion.

Yet, in the chaotic moment of her struggle, Finn smoothly made his next move. Extending his other hand, he whispered softly, "Jonathan’s Passion."

(Inwardly, Finn found the situation highly ironic. In another universe, his DxD counterpart actually had a very intimate relationship with the demonic Sitri siblings. But nobody here needed to know that.)

The Fairy Tail mages gasped as Finn’s magic manifested into a massive, ethereal Basking Shark made entirely of solid holy light. The colossal creature leaped from the explosive smoke, opening its massive, glowing maw to completely swallow Mirajane whole!

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!" Elfman screamed, surging forward to save his sister.

"Don’t worry."

Finn’s calm, authoritative voice echoed across the courtyard, freezing everyone in place.

As they watched in stunned silence, Mirajane was completely enveloped by the holy shark. But instead of being crushed or incinerated, her demonic transformation violently flickered and abruptly vanished. The overwhelming holy magic completely nullified her Satan Soul, forcing her back into her normal, powerless human form.

She plopped heavily onto the stone floor, completely confused and entirely stripped of her magic as the giant shark dissolved into a shower of beautiful, harmless light particles.

Footsteps echoed across the courtyard. Finn walked toward her with calmness. As his tall shadow fell over her, Mirajane’s heart hammered violently in her chest, filled with a terrifying mixture of deep fear and a strange, unexplainable excitement.

To everyone’s absolute shock, Finn simply reached down, gently rubbed the top of Mirajane’s head like a misbehaving pet, and turned away.

"Get some rest. I’m going to sleep."

Finn faked a tired yawn as he strolled back into the mansion, leaving the stunned, silent crowd alive in his courtyard.

While the rest of Fairy Tail thought he was surprisingly kind to let them off so easily, Mirajane sat on the floor, her face burning with humiliation. She knew exactly what had just happened in her heart.

He treated me exactly like a disobedient puppy!

"Dammit!" she whispered, staring fiercely at his retreating back.

She swore to herself right then and there that one day, she would completely reverse this dynamic. She would make the White Devil her loyal puppy, completely at her mercy. She wanted to rub his head while his eyes filled with defiant, helpless submission.

Yeah... that would be the absolute best, she thought, a dark, incredibly lewd smile replacing her anger.

"..."

Erik stared at the blushing She-Devil, completely disturbed.

"What’s wrong, Erik?" Sawyer asked.

"Nothing... absolutely nothing. Let’s just go to sleep."

Yeah. They were all far too exhausted to deal with whatever sick fantasies that woman was brewing.
