Adrian Desmond listened, his face darkened.

"I warned her when she arrived not to say anything reckless, but she still didn’t listen!"

Brandon Potter didn’t dare to look at Adrian, cautiously saying, "Sixth Master, Madam hasn’t misunderstood anything, has she?"

Brandon Potter was referring to Larissa saying she liked Adrian.

If Sienna Johnson misunderstood this, she wouldn’t be able to work alongside Adrian anymore.

Brandon Potter knew that Adrian listened to Sienna. As long as Sienna said the word, she would be kicked out.

"What’s there to misunderstand? Do you think I’d like a woman like that!" Adrian’s tone was cold, mixed with some anger.

Adrian was also a clean freak; he wouldn’t touch women others had been with.

To put it nicely, she played with men, but in reality, wasn’t she just a filthy woman, sullied under countless men? No matter how good her looks were, in his eyes, she was dirty, and he wouldn’t give her a glance even if she were sent to his bed.

...

Larissa displeased Adrian; he didn’t meet her and had her escorted out, her face exceedingly harsh as she left.

In the car, a young handsome man lit a cigarette for Larissa, adding fuel to the fire,

"Madam, who does this Adrian Desmond think he is, to so rudely embarrass you? You must teach him a lesson, show him who’s turf this is..."

Larissa slapped the man across the face, scolding, "What are you yammering about, this is none of your business!"

"Yes, I spoke out of turn."

The man slapped himself, covering his face, full of grievance yet dared not say another word.

Larissa’s bewitching face was filled with anger; she didn’t expect that Sienna Johnson would dare show her such a face.

...

General Mansion,

In a small room next to Night Owl, several people, including Lithium, were lying on the floor, some holding chopsticks, the ground stained with spilled broth...

Sabrina Conner and Marion waited outside for a while, hearing no movement, Sabrina walked in with a dagger, grinning sinisterly.

Sabrina kicked Lithium, saying, "Sleeping like a dead pig..."

The food on the table was half-eaten, with Sabrina having added some "ingredient" causing Lithium and the others to pass out.

This trick, Sabrina heard about Sienna’s past when she bewitched everyone on the Unnamed Island, and learned from it — despicable yet very effective.

"In a bit, we’ll kill you like pigs!"

Sabrina finished off the man closest to her, then took slow steps toward Lithium. As he was drugged unconscious, he was defenseless, without any ability to resist, left for slaughter.

Sabrina crouched down, slapped his cheeks with the blade’s back, and said through gritted teeth, "Didn’t you say you wanted to kill me? Hehe, come on, try to kill me."

Marion killed two people, frowned, and said to Sabrina, "Stop the chatter, hurry up and get on with it!"

"I know."

Sabrina stabbed precisely at Lithium’s heart; in his slumber, he lost his life.

It’s hard to believe Lithium never imagined he’d die this way.

"What about the bodies?"

Marion closed the room window, stuffed all the bodies into the bathroom, also sealing the door tightly, using tape to cover all the gaps.

"Just leave them here!"

They were in the General Mansion, surrounded by Abraham’s people; transporting the bodies out to bury them wasn’t easy, so this temporary measure was all they could manage.

"Let’s go."

"Okay."

Once Night Owl’s people were all killed, Marion immediately called Adrian; Adrian listened and instructed them to keep an eye on Night Owl without giving them further tasks.

...

Oak Tree Hotel,

Noah, upon hearing that Adrian had arrived, personally came to invite Adrian and Sienna to stay at his home.

Adrian originally planned to do so but reconsidered due to Joanna, deciding to continue staying at the hotel.

The woman back home was overly jealous; he feared Joanna might talk recklessly like Larissa did.

In the small bar next to the hotel, Adrian and Noah sat together, drinking. The alcohol wasn’t anything special but packed a punch, making drinking very gratifying.

"I heard you have a son, congratulations." Adrian raised his glass to toast Noah.

Noah looked very pleased, "I owe it to you; without you, who knows who’d carry my son. Haha..."

"How are things with Joanna?"

"A woman settles once she has a child; though she still doesn’t quite like me, she’s become much nicer because of our son." Noah replied.

Noah lit a cigar, looked at Adrian, and asked, "You’ve suddenly come to Kalare, what’s your purpose this time?"

"Still after Night Owl!"

"He sure has seven lives; how come he hasn’t died despite so many attempts!"

Adrian laughed, "It’s not that he hasn’t died; it’s that I don’t want him to die so easily."

Adrian was always ruthless towards enemies, not to mention Night Owl, a man who coveted his woman.

A month...

Adrian promised Sienna a month, but due to Larissa’s influence, he planned to expedite it.

"Do you need my help?"

"You just need to keep an eye on your woman, and I’ll be grateful."

Adrian recounted the situation with Larissa to Noah, who listened, sympathizing, "You see, being too handsome really has no advantage...

If you were a playboy, it wouldn’t be a problem; you could just marry all the women who chase you... but... "

Adrian interrupted Noah, saying, "That kind of woman, you dare marry, but I wouldn’t."

"Larissa, I wouldn’t dare provoke; our family’s tigress would gobble me up."

Truthfully, Noah had another favor to ask Adrian; their relationship was decent, so Noah didn’t mince his words.

"You know that we and Abraham have always been in opposition; originally, Joanna and I were peacefully staying on Surara Island without competing for territory, but Abraham wants to annex us."

"..."

"Adrian, I need your help."

Adrian immediately refused, "I came to Kalare this time to deal with Night Owl, and I don’t intend to involve myself in anything else."

"..."

"My woman keeps urging to return home; I plan to resolve things here quickly and then take her away."

"..."

"Noah, Abraham may be old, but he has ten sons; you kill Abraham, one of his sons will take his place, and your crisis remains, perhaps even worsens..."

Although Adrian didn’t plan to help, he still thought of the most effective way for Noah to handle Abraham.
