The Bigshot Married Himself to the Heiress
Chapter 1432 - 1372: Sixth Master Mistaken for a Pretty Boy
"Thank you, President Davis, for your kind words," Sienna Johnson expressed gratitude.
"No need to be polite, I’m good friends with Adrian, and you’re Adrian’s wife, so of course, I support you." Justin Harris noticed Elsa White approaching and said, "Oh no, I have to go, bye-bye..."
Justin Harris was short and chubby. As he hurried away, waddling, Adrian Desmond had given him the nickname "Fat Penguin," which really suited him.
"Since when did you become so familiar with President Davis?"
"I’m not familiar with him."
"I clearly saw you two chatting quite a bit just now."
Elsa White came over and stood in front of Adrian, yet Adrian ignored her completely, talking only to Sienna Johnson, as if Elsa White didn’t exist.
"Adrian, I have something to say to you," Elsa White said, holding back her frustration.
Adrian lifted his head, looking at the woman in front of him. Her skin was tan, her figure voluptuous and athletic, the type admired by Westerners, but not Adrian’s type.
"Justin Harris just snuck off from behind, you can still catch up with him if you go now."
Elsa White’s face twitched; she couldn’t stand hearing Justin Harris’s name. Hearing it made her feel like she was dealing with something disgusting.
"Don’t mention that damn fat man’s name in front of me."
Sienna Johnson held Adrian’s hand, sitting quietly beside him without speaking.
Adrian only said one sentence to Elsa White before continuing to chat with Sienna Johnson, "Do you have any activities after your speech?"
"No more."
After the candidates finished their campaign speeches, the next step was the voting and election, the result would be out in three days, and it was up to fate after doing one’s best.
"Then let’s go."
"Okay."
Just as they were about to leave, Graham Robertson walked over, a courteous man who, despite not being young anymore, was like a well-aged wine, growing richer with time.
"Sienna, you did really well just now, both the content of your speech and its delivery were perfect," Graham Robertson praised.
Receiving praise from Graham Robertson made Sienna Johnson quite happy, "I prepared for a long time and hope the result will be as I wish."
"It will."
Graham Robertson invited, "Do you have any plans later?"
By asking this, Graham naturally wanted to discuss something with Sienna Johnson, so Sienna replied, "Do you have something for me?"
"It’s just that all the board members are here, I want to introduce you to them. If you become the president, you’ll need their assistance in the future."
Graham Robertson was clearly showing his support for Sienna Johnson to be elected president. This was an excellent opportunity to secure votes; sometimes just one vote could decide the victory. Sienna was eager for this chance to get acquainted with those people.
"Then thank you, President Robertson."
"I am no longer a president. I’m about the same age as your mother; you can call me Uncle Robertson."
Sienna Johnson wasn’t timid, she called him Uncle Robertson, and Graham Robertson’s gaze toward her grew more affectionate.
Adrian had a feeling that Graham Robertson’s gaze towards Sienna Johnson was unusual. He stared at Graham Robertson’s face, trying to read it, but Graham Robertson left with Sienna.
Seeing the bothersome Sienna Johnson finally leave, Elsa White was overjoyed.
She said to Adrian, "Adrian, how can you treat me this way? ... That damn fat man harassed me, and just thinking about it disgusts me."
"..."
"Adrian, I like you. Whatever Sienna Johnson can give you, I can too. Our White Family is much wealthier than the Johnson Family."
Adrian’s status as someone who married into the family made people assume he married Sienna Johnson for money, and their words often undervalued Adrian.
If it were an ordinary man, he would’ve probably not tolerated such insult and chosen to divorce Sienna Johnson, but Adrian was no ordinary man.
Firstly, his heart was filled with pride and arrogance, so he wouldn’t take others’ words to heart;
Secondly, his vast wealth provided him enough confidence and backing. For money? He wasn’t lacking in money.
Seeing Adrian remain silent, Elsa White imagined a dramatic scene, "Did you really marry into the Johnson Family for money? Adrian, I have a lot of money, I can give you money. However much you want, I’ll give you, as long as you..."
Adrian withdrew his gaze from Sienna Johnson to the noisy woman in front of him, "Get lost!"
"Adrian, stop right there!"
"..."
"I will go find Sienna Johnson. That woman is too much, how can she make you marry into a family? This kind of thing is too insulting..."
Adrian really stopped, his hands in the pockets of his suit trousers, he turned around slowly, Elsa White’s heart started pounding.
Was she really going to look for Sienna Johnson?
Adrian looked at the woman in front of him with a dangerous gaze.
"Adrian, how about we go for a drink? I know there’s a bar nearby."
Adrian suddenly smiled at the woman, "Sure."
Elsa White was overjoyed, recalling the last time Adrian stood her up, she coquettishly warned, "I’m telling you, you better not bail this time, I really get mad too."
"I won’t!"
Adrian approached Elsa White, her heart beat even faster. She admired this handsome and cool man; she didn’t want marriage, didn’t want kids, she just wanted to have one romantic affair after another with various men.
The man before her fulfilled all her fantasies.
...
The two walked out of the Medical Association’s building and went to a nearby underground bar.
The bar was dimly lit, with colorful lights flashing in front of Adrian, making him dizzy, Elsa White seized the chance to embrace Adrian’s arm, but Adrian pulled it away.
"Adrian, it’s too noisy here, let’s go to a private room," Elsa White shouted loudly.
Elsa White was clearly a regular here, several men greeted her as soon as she entered, but today she had no time for them.
"Adrian, this way..." Elsa White eagerly wanted to take Adrian to a private room, she didn’t believe the man could stay indifferent in a private room.
They squeezed through the crowd and finally entered a private room Elsa White had booked.
The room was pink, with red hearts and cute cartoon toys everywhere. Adrian couldn’t help but frown; even Curly’s room wasn’t this childish.
"This bar is mine, and this private room is my own," Elsa White picked up a pink plush toy, holding it in her arms while looking at Adrian.
"..."
"Adrian, I really like you, I want you to be my lover."
Adrian stood there with no desire to sit, "You just mentioned you were going to see Sienna Johnson?"
"Yes!"
"Why?" Adrian asked with a chilling tone.
"Of course, to have her give us her blessing."
Adrian looked at the woman in front of him and sneered, "Blessing us? Are you joking?"
