The Billionaire's Heir I Never Knew Was Mine
Chapter 192: Master Bedroom?
Eventually, exhaustion caught up with her body and mind.
Carefully, she loosened Skylar’s grip finger by finger, making sure not to wake him. Even after releasing her hand, he remained peacefully asleep.
Sienna stood from the bed, pulled the blanket a little higher over his shoulders, and switched off the bedside lamp before quietly walking toward the door.
Only after she gently closed the bedroom door behind her did she finally release the breath she had been holding.
Earlier, she had hardly dared to breathe too loudly, afraid even the smallest sound would wake him and make him look for her again.
She smiled to herself.
"Don’t worry, my son," she whispered softly. "I’ll be here before you wake up."
Still smiling, she slowly walked downstairs to the second floor.
However, the moment she stepped off the stairs, her smile gradually faded as she looked around in quiet surprise.
The entire second floor opened into a spacious luxury living area. Floor-to-ceiling windows stretched along one side, revealing the peaceful night outside.
In one corner stood an elegant minibar beside a wall-mounted cabinet that neatly displayed bottles of wine and other beverages. Next to it was a cozy coffee station with everything needed to brew fresh coffee, while a compact modern kitchen completed the space.
Everything around her looked elegant and expensive, yet it didn’t feel cold or intimidating. Instead, the warm lighting and tasteful furniture made the floor feel welcoming and comfortable. It reminded her of the beautiful homes she had only ever seen in celebrity magazines or on television.
As she slowly looked around, an unexpected feeling settled over her.
Although this was her first time seeing the place, it somehow felt familiar.
It wasn’t because she recognized the furniture or the layout.
It was because she could already picture herself living there.
"So..." she murmured quietly, her lips curving into a gentle smile, "this is where I’ll spend my days with him."
The thought of sharing this home with Zachary filled her heart with quiet happiness.
She continued exploring the floor at an unhurried pace until she noticed three doors. Two stood side by side along one wall, while the third was across from them.
Her eyes naturally settled on the single door.
"That must be the master bedroom," she whispered to herself.
Almost immediately, her heartbeat began to quicken.
She couldn’t stop herself from imagining the first night she and Zachary would finally share the same room after officially registering their marriage.
The thought alone made warmth spread across her cheeks, and before she realized it, a shy smile had quietly appeared on her lips.
...
For a moment, Sienna considered checking the other two rooms first. However, for reasons she couldn’t explain, her feet naturally carried her toward the master bedroom instead.
The moment she opened the door, her eyes were drawn to the large bed in the center of the room.
Her heartbeat immediately quickened.
Without meaning to, she pictured herself and Zachary sleeping there together. Instantly, the sultry image filled her mind, and warmth spread across her cheeks.
Embarrassed by her own thoughts, she gently shook her head, trying to push them away.
She slowly looked around the room instead. The bedroom had all the elegance expected of a luxury suite.
Beautiful wooden furniture, crafted from high-quality materials, gave the room a warm, sophisticated atmosphere. The pristine white walls were adorned with a few postmodern abstract paintings, giving the room a sense of sophistication. In contrast, fresh orchids and white lilies were carefully arranged in several corners, making the room feel naturally bright and welcoming.
A soft smile appeared on her lips.
"Zach... you’ve transformed this room in such a short time," she murmured to herself. "It’s exactly how I imagined it... and it’s completely my style. I love it."
Nothing about the room resembled the bedroom of a man who had lived alone for years. Every detail seemed thoughtfully prepared, making it obvious that someone had designed the space with her in mind.
Her attention shifted to the large French windows on one side of the room. Beyond the glass was a spacious veranda with a cozy seating area where she imagined they could enjoy coffee together on quiet mornings or simply sit side by side after a long day.
The thought brought another smile to her face.
She quietly stepped inside and gently closed the bedroom door behind her before making her way toward the walk-in closet connected to the room.
As soon as she entered, she realized it had been divided into two separate sections.
The first belonged to Zachary. Rows of neatly arranged suits, dress shirts, ties, and casual clothes filled one side of the closet. Just as she had expected, almost everything came in the dark, neutral colors he usually wore.
Sienna slowly ran her fingertips over one of his suit jackets.
Everything was perfectly organized. The neat arrangement somehow reflected the man himself—disciplined, calm, and dependable.
A gentle warmth settled inside her chest.
Then her attention shifted to the opposite side.
Her eyes widened in surprise.
The section prepared for her was nearly four times as large as Zachary’s.
"Gosh, Zach..." she whispered with an amused laugh. "You really went all out to impress me, didn’t you?"
Still smiling, she walked farther inside.
Beautiful dresses, elegant business suits, casual outfits, handbags, shoes, and accessories had all been arranged with incredible care. She recognized many famous luxury brands, while others were unfamiliar to her. Even without checking the labels, she could tell from the quality of the fabrics that every piece had been carefully selected.
There was clothing for every occasion.
Comfortable outfits for staying at home.
Professional clothes for work.
Elegant dresses for formal dinners and parties.
Everything she might ever need was already waiting for her.
She gently touched one dress before moving to another, still unable to believe what she was seeing.
The handbags displayed on the shelves looked like the same ones she had admired in fashion magazines. Jewelry and watches rested neatly in glass cases, reminding her of the collections worn by celebrities and wealthy families.
